| While making a knife throwing character I started looking for concealable sheaths for them and could find only concealable holsters. I am probably missing something that explains this.
So does the concealable holster work the same for knives and such as pistols?

| Yeah, I went looking for something similar a while back for a character. I wanted to get a concealed holster with a couple of clip pouches. | |

| From SR4-A:
"Concealable Holster: Various types of holsters can be worn over the hip, in the small of the back, under the arm, on the forearm, or on the ankle. The concealable holster adds -1 to the item’s Concealability (page 311.)"
It does not specify pistol holsters. So I would interpret it to mean any kind of weapon's holster (i.e.: pistol holster, knife sheath, rifle sling, etc.)
...my two cents.

| Slings are specifically covered on Page 33 of AR. Jagger is correct that a holster is a sheath. But technically it is a sheath for a firearm. However, Ghost rightfully points out that as it isn't really a game changer, many GMs will likely allow it. I would, and I'm sure from what Jagger just said, he would as well. You just have to ask first. | |

| Oh I know it's not a game changer, I'm just a little bit OCD with some things, and my characters are occaisionally it.
I'm mostly interested in having some concealable holsters built into his clothing, such as pants, kilts, and boots more than jackets. The other idea is to have special pockets built into the clothing for hold throwing knives and shuriken.

| He's going to wear kilts? Real hand-made pleated wool or utility-kilt style? | |

| I own a couple of kilts. A formal one in my family tartan and a generic (Celtic) one for random festivals and such. | |
