Here's her background. It's a little sketchy at the moment because I was in a hurry to get her posted up.

Background

She was born 21 years ago in New Orleans, the second child of an elven couple who worked for Ares Macrotechnology. It was a happy life there until the second Matrix crash, causing her parents to lose their jobs at Ares. Faced with starvation and desperation, her parents made the decision to move to Seattle, where they lived a less privileged life until her magical talents emerged and she was offered a scholarship at a Renraku university. She took up the offer and immersed herself in her studies, eventually working her way to the university’s medical school, where she majored in paramedical techniques.
Then a second tragedy struck her family. Her parents, her sister and her sister’s husband were killed in a car accident, leaving behind herself and her three year old niece whom she was looking after at the time. This placed a great strain on her financial means and she was forced to pull out of her studies for a while as she looked for a means to secure a better life for both herself and her niece.
It was at this time that she was referred to the world of shadowrunning as a means to her financial problems. After musing about it for a long while, she finally decided to give it a try. How bad could it be?
