Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

I admit, I never really know what to say in one of these threads.

I've been interested in Shadowrun for some time, but have never actually gotten a chance to play it - tabletop or by post. That having been said, however, I am quite familiar with the play-by-post methodology of gaming, having been a member (and, more recently, staff member) on a play-by-post site focused mainly on D&D for 4 1/2 years.

I do have a couple questions...

First of all, when one plays in a game here, does one always use (generally) the same character? Or do you create new characters for every game? How many games does the average member play in? How often do new games show up?

Usually you will have a different character for each game. When an arch ends for a game some dms allow characters from their previous games to cross over. From what I have seen most members juggle between 2-4 games at a time. A string of new games has popped up in the past couple of weeks, though it looks like this pace is not the norm. I haven't been here terribly long, so things might be a little different than I have observed.

Also welcome to the family. ^_^
