that would have set me up for life, at least before the crash happened and I lost my SIN. that day my life as a "productive" member of society came to a halt and my new life began. yeah im ex military but no the military threw me to the wolves. I tried to re-register but they lost everything thing on me and so i became one of the many "soldiers of mis-fortune". so now i wander doing the occasional run when i need to. fortunately my buddy sam still has his SIN so he can hook me up with supplies when I need them. if your a soldier you always remember to be nice to supply and it defenitly paid off in my case. now i just need to meet my new Johnson and put some cred in my pockets or ill be up the creek without a paddle.

now the only thing keeping me going is to make those sorry indians pay for what they did to my eyes and my men. I continue to be hunted by the men and women who follow in what was once daniel howling coyote's footsteps. if only i had been minutes faster that man wouldnt have been able to burn my eyes out or steal the souls of my men. someday i will be able to get over the price on my head. the only thing i count as a favor is that everyone in the friggin world isnt out for my head.

the army teaches you basic firearms and even teaches you how to be a crack shot if you have the talent but i have found that my bow is as effective and much quieter and will not scare my prey away immediately sometimes i can get several shots off before anyone knows what happened.

I have lived out of my trailer for years now. i took to the shadows for my sister. and because of the shadows they took my sister. no ransom note nothing just gone. my father had done well in the simsense ring and died before he could spend his well earned richs. our mother passed not long after that and left me to take care of her. she was always good though i could leave her alone to go do work but nothing good really came out of it. i have always done well with my vehicles and my drones. took me years to get the two i own now. but im proud of what they are. soon i will be able to finish them. i would love to one day own a set of stonebrooke smokecloud. My Friend bender has always been there for me since my sister dissappeared. and wrench my mechanic friend continues to help me keep my truck running straight. If either of those people dissappeared... it just wouldnt be a good day for me. and then there is tanya she keeps watching me on my runs to different places and every once and a while she will help me with holes in security... so for now until I get a new job i do the odd run in my semi till i get a something better

he was raised as an outdoorsman by his father. learned to shoot bows in scouting and was an eagle scout. the rifle and sidearm he was naturally adept at throughout his childhhod and teen years after joining the military his skills were honed further. He made didnt get the college degree he always planned on but with everything that has happened in the past weeks he didnt figure it meant anything anyways.

parents were killed in a mugging a year ago shortly after his brother enlisted in the military turned to janesta to be a mother figure. his brother sometimes visits and brings him things, usually little electronic bits or whatever. he has been learning to use drones since he was about 10 when his brother brought him home a micro skimmer to play with as a present for his birthday. he still enjoys rigging into the little drone of his. his parents were not rich but they did ok, well enough off to help him get new eyes after a small car accident and while he was under they also got him the control rig to be able to control the drones he loved so much. unfortunately when his parents died the corp they worked for decided they didn't need an 'amateur' drone rigger and kicked the kid out of the corp living facility and he now wanders the streets of Seattle doing whatever little jobs he can do and talking to his brother whenever he has a spare moment. for the most part he lives on the streets but he seems to deal with it stoically. He is always tinkering with his drones always trying to find ways to 'improve' them it doesn't always work unfortunately.

His family connections have always been strong he has never had any problem missing out on love, until his brother went off to the UCAS and started working in supply, the only nice thing about it is he is always there for him unfortunatly he doesnt have the rank or connections yet made to really get anything good on his own. when his parents died Tanner begged his brother to come back to be with him but he couldnt get the paperwork to go through to get out for hardship, neither could he get permission to take his brother as a military dependent because of him turning 18 just a couple weeks after the murder. he recently did get to go visit and has been gone the past few days visiting his brother in another hemisphere.

he knew janesta before the accident as the nice woman at the curisoty store he would go to look at intresting parts for his drones, she didnt always have anything useful but her shop always looked so... homey to the more 'used appliances' type. after his parents died and the corp kicked him and his brother couldnt 'save' him from the streets he eventually visited janesta and told her about all the crazy flashbacks of the mugging having to watch as the mugger shot his father through the left eye as his body just collapsed into just so much dead fesh the spark of life leaving his body in no time at all, he could not believe it as the mugger then grabbed him and put the gun to his head and made his mother give him her purse and to pull the wallet from the lifeless sack of skin that was his father, after he received the items he shot his mother in the chest point blank and turned to finish him, luckily, or unluckily in his mind an off duty knight errant officer came around the corner and polished off the magger with a smart double tap to the chest and one to the head, leaving him in the land of the living but not always inhabating the shell he calls a body for the first few weeks it was just a bunch of foster homes until he turned 18 and the the nightmares plaguing his mind the reliving of the scene every few days not only inhabating the dreams but also the days he would go to one of his favorite diners to get a sandwich with the few nuyen he had and when he'd receive the sandwich the simple reminder that his mother loved that sandwich would cause an instant flash back as a cold sweat covered his body he would go into slight convulsions and a frightfully dead sound would come to his throat as he released all the emotion of reliving that event in just that second. most diners dont allow him to come back because of that. now he sees janesta whenever she gives him a ring. his little toys are his world now. he is very happy to have received a new 'toy' a stonebrooke smokecloud, he has always wanted one ever since he watched a show on 'drones weekly news' it has all the things he could ever ask for in a distraction flashs and noise but will keep anyone looking cause of how tiny it is. he cant wait to show janesta just as soon as he lands in the seattle airport where his brother could afford to send him for once. he was glad to finally see him since his emergency leave. 8 months is a long time to deal with all his terror on his own.

James comes from a family of civil service... but usually luxurious civil service. he chose another route. his family has been big in politics for years usually backing someone or something that helps keep the family rich. but James couldn't stand the hypocrisy of it all and actually decided to do something for the people he lives with.

After finishing college early at 20 he joined KE and started at the low end of the totem pole beat cops and simple ops until a couple years in he was recognized by the company after taking down a top level merc single-handedly who was after a high profile customer of KE's.

for the next few years he was allowed a probationary period with the SWAT team as the weapons locker OIC. He excelled in this profession and was sent to several special courses to hone his natural weapon skills. He was a allowed a place on the team when he finally turned 23.

When he turned 24 he was allowed the traditional cut of the family trust fund for his 4 years of civil service. he decided to stay in the job because it was fulfilling to him. His family still has not come to understand his decision. once the trust fund was opened to him he was able to marry his long time girlfriend of 5 years. a year later he had his first child a girl whom he dotes on horribly. his wife isn't happy with his job choice either but she understands his need to help people.

My family has always lived in the woods and hunted for a living. Being a guide just doesn't pay the bills like it used to so I runs the shadows occasionally. Every mage around seems to need "fresh" magical ingredients and I occasionally get lucky and I can haul in something big enough to put money (and a little meat) on the table. My father taught me unarmed and knife skills, his motto always was "A knife never runs out of bullets and when you get surprised sometimes your hands have to be your knife". He used to be a professional UFC fighter. I guess it was something that was big pre-haleys-comet and never truly disappeared just isn't as big as it was. Me and technology never seem to get along... but I can usually get the comlink to call people but doing anything more then that... is iffy. I dont use a lot of digital stuff but am learning that others seem to have way more luck with that. I just am way better at the physical stuff...
