Whip and Saw!

I'd like to build a character who uses a whip (or two), but I'm coming up blank on character concepts. Ideas?

Also, would a chainsaw be a practical way to take out hard targets? I'm trying to find some reason to use for them beyond just "they're wicked awesome". Not that that's not a perfectly good reason....

Ok good. I was going to make a comment about shooting your character in the face while making a witty indiana jones reference. Mono filament's are definitely doable and able to dish out some kick dreck damage. You want a fat dice pool and decent edge though to prevent glitches. Hmmm mystic adept with an ally spirit with the guard power and dual powerfocus whips...

Dual-wielded monofilament whip weapon foci! There's an idea. He could be a spirit- and mage-hunter, capable of not only fighting in physical combat, but also absolutely lethal in astral combat.

Hmm...I wonder what that filters? Does it filter fraget?

edit: So it does. Nifty. Apparently, however, it does not censor a certain four-letter word that starts with the letter "c".
