Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

You know, I do believe I started posting questions to Character Concept before I introduced myself.

Hi.

There we go. All done. ..

oh, wait. Details. Played SR3 for a while, but it's been years since then. Outside of a few MU*'s still stuck in the SR3 system, I haven't really gotten a chance to do true tabletop SR in a long time. Excited by the changes in SR4, and yanking on the reigns to try them out. Huzzah.

And whatever else anyone says, I -like- the changes to Hackers in SR4. Action Hackers? NOT stuck in zombie-land unless they really, really need that edge VR? Otaku that -don't- become useless after three weeks? Sweeeet.

I mostly argee with you, but I miss cyberdecks. Commlinks just aren't the same.

You mean the Keyboards of the Future? Wink

You know, -technically- speaking, you can still run it old school with a deck. If nothing else, it'll give you plenty of room to crank up some modifications in the form of signal boosting, etc. Just make it a modified box because the character has a thing for antiques. Very Happy

But I kinda like the commlink style, though I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea (ha!). Shadowrun's been missing out on the wireless age.
