Kahuna Biggs: Talismonger L2,C1 Biggs is a street-level talismonger with a tattoo parlor on the side. Mano went to him to get his tattoos because he was knowledgeable on Hawai'ian art and culture (and a damn good shark sketcher). Since lots of the street weirdos like their tattoos, Biggs was not put off by Mano's shark features; he was used to this sort of thing. But Mano's hard dermis presented a challenge, and required a thicker needle normally used on trolls. When the needle first entered Mano's skin, his fists involuntarily crackled lightly. Biggs finally realized Mano's potential. He had tattooed a ganger earlier who had turned out to be a low-level boss; the ganger told Biggs to keep a look out for a smuggler at home in the water. Of course, he would make it worth his while. Biggs had considered a few sammies to reference, but an Awakened? That would be some juicy capital. With this in mind, he asked Mano, "Hey bruddah, how you like dese Seattle waves?" "Dey suit me fine, kama'aina. Just fine." Biggs passed the info on to the boss, and when Mano came back to get the color in, he was introduced to his first fixer, and completed his first run with relative ease. Ever since, Mano has been coming back to Biggs for tattoos and runs.

As a child, Mano's grandfather told him tales of Pearl Harbor, the harbor where they lived, of its patron deities, and its tragic destruction by the Japanese. In those days, the Yakuza held sway over most of the population. Inspired by his grandfather's thrilling stories of patriotism, Mano joined the Royal Hawai'ian Navy right out of high school. After a stellar first year, Mano shot up the ranks, showing particular talents in swimming and underwater combat. His skills did not go unnoticed, however; two pairs of eyes were watching his progress. The Yakuza approached him first. They had been looking for a marine smuggler with combat training, and Mano fit the bill perfectly. However, while the prospects of fraternity and honor, as well as the fat paycheck. But the tragedy of December 7th had left an indelible mark on him. The Japanese, especially the Yakuza...they just couldn't be trusted. Then he was approached by the Na Kiu, the elusive, mythical spec ops corps dedicated to protecting the Kamehameha Dynasty. Among them he found the similar feelings against the Japanese and their invasion, although in varying degrees. He also found those feelings of patriotism that he had seen so vividly in his grandfather. But joining the Na Kiu came with a cost. He was forced to cut all ties with his family, his friends, the rest of the military, and even his beloved harbor. They created a cover story for him, leaving a note for his family informing them that he was going on a sojourn with a fishing company. However, he left a small note for his grandfather. Ua Mau ke Ea o ka 'Aina i ka Pono. "The life of the land is perpetuated by righteousness." It was the motto of the Royal Hawai'ian Army. He meant for his grandfather to see that his beloved grandson had not abandoned his love of the island and its king. He had been training with the Na Kiu for over a year. He found a niche as an underwater combat specialist and survivalist. When it was felt he was ready, he was given his first mission: he was to intercept a Yakuza-owned smuggling vessel, a YongkangGala Trinity. Their was a clear weather report, and it was meant to be an easy first mission, at least for a Na Kiu. A rotochopper dropped him at the specified wait point, and he began preparations for his eight-hour long water tread. He would stay still and paddle, camouflaged to mesh with the ocean waves, and would grapple the vessel when it approached, as long as it did not vary from the vector intel had acquired. He centered his mind with a meditation technique his grandfather had taught him. He became one with the waves, he called upon their gods. Sustain me, he asked, and he waited. Nightfall approached, and the ocean had sustained him. His limbs were surprisingly energetic despite the long exercise. Everything was going according to plan. He closed his eyes and listened for the hum of the speedboat. Suddenly, a flash of light piercing his closed eyelids; the gentle lapping waves began to seeth. He opened his eyes and was treated to a magnificent and terrifying vision. A giant thunderhead loomed above him, lightning crackling along its ominous underbelly. Then a great fire pierced it, releasing the god's fury incarnate in one vicious outburst. In its wake, a tsunami unlike any Mano had ever seen rose up, and in a moment, darkness overtook him. Just before the great pressure of the tons of water knocked him unconcious, Mano began to feel strange. His skin tightened, more than just a flinch, as if he were flexing all of his muscles at one time. His hands tingled with a feeling not unlike a static discharge, and the feeling spread throughout his entire body. He forced his eyes open to look at the ceiling now above him, and he could just make out the fangs of a giant, terrible shark, maw wide open in anticipation of Mano's blood. His last thoughts were of his grandfather, of sitting on his lap as a small child, listening to tales of Kahi'uka, and he was at peace. He awoke on a strange shore. He knew it was not Oahu, and not just because the sand was white and gritty, unlike the dark volcanic ash of his land. No, he felt not this land, but the absence of his own land. It was gone. The earth had left him alone to float in a strange infinite ocean. Ola, he thought. He was alive. He felt his blood course through his body. The gods had spared him from their majestic fury. And, he realized, they had gifted him too. His skin was a strange blue, and it was rough, like sandpaper. Fins had sprouted on the sides of his forearms, reaching from an inch below his wrist and just short of his elbows, stretching a good two inches from his arms. His eyes saw more than just light. He could see tiny hearts beating in the water, the souls of fish seemingly apparent to his naked eye. He had become a shark. He stretched his fingers, and sparks jostled between them ad encircled his finger tips. He had become a kahuna, an empowered servant of his island and its king. And his next thoughts were of food. He stood, and realized he was ever so slightly hunched foreward. He felt the sides of his neck, and placed a finger gingerly in th gills he found there. He reached behind his head, and felt along the ridge of a dorsal fin that had sprouted from the middle of his neck and ended above where his shoulderblades met. He stepped toward the water. His feet were pulled almost magnetically into the depths. He breathed in the ocean and it filled his lungs with sea air. He saw small schools of fish clearly, even though he was underwater. It was then that he realized how hungry he was. His hands moved impossibly fast, and gripped a wriggling fish. He saw its heart, he saw the blood coursing from it into its veins. And he devoured it. He grabbed two more, and then another, and another, slaking his thirst for blood and flesh. He swam back to the surface and stepped onto his new island. And for the first time, he saw the sprawling metroplex before him. E hono ali'i, he thought. I go to rule.

They still update his occupation from time to time, but have not "killed" him yet: his SIN is still active. He made an oath to keep the Na Kiu secret; if he reveals to anyone, including his family, that he was a member, they will kill him and those with knowledge of it. What are your characters dreams/goals/aspirations? Mano misses his island, but he can never return, and he can never bring unnecessary attention to himself. He has no specific goals or dreams, but he likes to test his training and enjoys the "feeding frenzy" feeling he gets from a victory. What is the characters general appearance? (How do they stand? How do they dress? Are they attractive? Do they try to look intimidating or casual?) Mano has a slightly hunched forward appearance due to SURGE. He has dazzling and frightening eyes, rough blue skin, and obvious fins and gills. These features can cause one to many looks on the street, and Mano likes to keep a low profile. As a result, he often wears long sleeve jackets with high collars and sunglasses to hide these features. He will sometimes wear a cosmetic cream that changes his skin tone to a natural tan as his facial tone cannot be easily obscured, but he reserves this for sensitive operations. He has long black hair to hide his dorsal fin. Why did they choose to be a runner? His skill in stealth gave him the opportunity to earn some cash to survive and fulfill his "blood lust." What is the characters personality? (This is apart from just basic psyche. Are you an idealist, radical, pessimist, militant, aloof etc?) Mano is strict, but quiet. He can be seen as uncaring, but he is actually rather lonely. When he is surfing, however, he becomes much less reserved and even outgoing, much like the rest of the surfing crowd. He likes them because they share many of his Hawai'ian philosophies and are generally accepting of his shark features; some actually think they're pretty cool. What skills does your character bring to this group? What makes them special? (Aside from whatever skills you have written down, is there anything else your character does well?) While Mano may not be great with people, he can be very intimidating. His shark teeth and eyes are already frightening, and his muscular build helps, too. He often crackles his fists when angry, giving him an even more pants-wetting visage. He can swim quickly and with ease, and his lightning ability in water allows for area-of-effect attacks with his fists that are absorbed with his armor. What are some things your character cannot do? (Get close to people, work well with others, handle money, think clearly under stress etc.) Mano finds it difficult to form lasting relationships. What does your character hate and why? (corps? Elves? dragons?) Mano distrusts the Japanese, and especially the Yakuza. However, with time, he may be able to respect individual Japanese that show such traits as honor and altruism. He also hates anti-meta groups who would disapprove of his SURGE characteristics. What does your character love? Surfing and tropical cuisine. What does your character respect? Patriotism, honor, people accepting of his SURGE/shark traits. How was your character educated? High school at Hawai'i. What is your characters moral code? Tolerance is very important to Mano, ironically enough (he distrusts Japanese unfairly). He doesn't like to have high body counts on missions, because he does not inherently hate corp bodyguards. However, his shark frenzy can work against this; he tries to overcome it each time it presents itself. Does your character have any political beliefs? Religious? Mano does not worship Hawai'ian spirits, but he respects certain ones and will often ask them for guidance (sort of like how a Catholic would petition the saints: he does not expect a specific response from them). He doesn't hate megacorps but he does appreciate freedom. What item(s) does your character treasure? (This is beyond monetary value. It could be a lucky coin, photograph, sock etc.) He keeps a photograph of him and his grandfather in his apartment. He dusts it regularly. Tell me at least one thing I (as the GM) should know about your character. Mano lives a conflicted life. He loves Hawai'i and he misses the Na Kiu. However, he does not believe he can return to them. He also cannot let others know of his recruitment, and would only tell those who he really trusts.

Mike was born in the dark tunnels of the Ork Underground and raised by a single Ork mother. His father was a low-life Cutter of uncertain identity. His mother tried very hard to keep him out of the gang life. As a result, he never formally joined a gang, but, being rather bright for a young Ork, found a niche as an weapon and armor repair boy for Skraacha. He later moved up to gear modder. After one of his best mods was confiscated by a Lone Star officer from a ganger, the work was traced back to him. However, instead of getting a cell in jail, he found employment with Ares Macrotechnology in their Firearms Development department. Apparently, they were in need of minority employees to boost their image. Since then, Mike has continued to showcase his talents, earning a well-paid position that allowed him to move his mother in with with him off of the streets. Mike is a big fan of Martial Arts trids, especially the newer ones showcasing Ares's Firefight techniques. This, in combination with his work atmosphere of guns, caused Mike to yearn to join Ares's Firewatch squads. However, Ares wanted to keep him in his role. To keep him happy, they allowed him to take firing lessons and learn the Firefight techniques from a corp instructor. He proved to be a quick learner and skilled fighter. With the new Knight Errant contract and the subsequent hiring frenzy, Ares finally rolled over and gave Mike the green light to try out for Knight Errant SWAT.

Mike couldn't wait to get a chance to put his Firefight skills to practice. What is the characters personality? (This is apart from just basic psyche. SWAT teams are the best of the best when it comes to urban law enforcement; they have to deal with close quarters combat situations very often. Firefight is a style that combines the versatility of a firearm and the brutality of close-range combat. Mike, as a student of this martial art, can not only supply covering fire with his dual semi-autos, but he can get into the heat of battle as well. Mike is also a professional armorer; he can keep the team updated and bristling to the teeth when faced with the ever-evolving criminal element. What are some things your character cannot do? ATTENTION: ADULT SUBJECT MATTER I grew up on the street. Unremarkable elf born to unremarkable elves. Never got to chat with my mom or dad really. First impressions were a little hazy: It was cold and I remember quite a spank from the sandpaper hand of a troll street doc. Then, there was the Pack. Hell, there was always the Pack. She dropped me there, my mom. Or really, the doc, whom she had originally dropped me off with. Old codger probably preferred a face full of frag to a crying babe. The Rat Pack, famous smugglers, shamans, and purveyors of rat-on-stick. I was an elf, though. I felt it in my bones. A nice bunch, to be sure, and honest to the core, but they were so...ascetic. Bunch of round ears and tuskers just had no taste, Dunk love 'em. And little penchant for the truly entertaining products and people available on the market. Maybe that's why I wandered away from the Underground...seeking that thrill. Met up with the Neo-A's, got my first fake SIN and a nice gaudy red Manhattan Pass, perfect for seeing the best of what Downtown offered. Dressed myself in a fancy coat, put some on some magic marker wrinkles, and I went into town, like an Amish rebel. I was 14. Ladies way out of my league paid attention to me, seedy types asked if I wanted to get "high". I'd never been "high" before - I'd just got out from underground! Every was exciting and new! Colorful and exotic! But I always found my way back to the Underground, back to the Pack, and they always received me. It was wonderfully enabling, but I grew up. I had had a taste of the corporate life, and I loved it. There was comfort, and routine, but there was also danger and excitement! Or so I thought, at least. One morning, when I was 17, I awoke from another drug and party induced slumber, with a hooker next to me and a line of some drug on a night table. Normally, this would be the time I dragged my groggy butt home to the Pack for some healing spells. But this time was different. I decided not to go back to the Pack this morning, or next morning, or the morning after that. I snorted up the line and slapped the hooker on her left butt cheek. Today was gonna be the first day of the rest of my life!
She found me sitting in a pool of blood. I had chopped off my left forearm and half of my left leg with a monofilament knife that my right hand still clutched. There was a girl laying next to me, multiple stab wounds, DOA for sure. Probably my knife that had done it. I was alternately sobbing and babbling, apparently. I was fragged out of my mind on some psychotic strain of K-10, had been the whole night. That woman, she...she pitied me. I looked like an insane psycho crazy knife murdering addict, and she pitied me. She tazed me, called a guy about the knife and body, and got me in the back of a tinted window taxi. Took me to a freakin' nonprofit children's hospital, cuz she knew a girl there. The whole way there, I babbled. Told her my whole life story. And that crazy gillette listened, she listened. Her name was Roneesha, she said, and she became my best friend. The nurse there saved my life. She shoved prostheses where my lower arm and leg had been. Her name was Maria, and I loved her from the moment she laid eyes on me and called me a "pointy-eared piece of corp trash." Her unintended compliment had sealed the deal. "You had me at corp trash."
They had to send me to a regen tank, but the little bloodstained credstick I had left in my shredded pants was mostly bogus and the hospital had a low budget as it was, meaning there wasn't enough nuyen for bio, much less gene care. However, the genetech was a little bonked in the head (ever met one that wasn't?) and compromised for off-the-shelf cyber. My small frame provided some difficulty, combined with wiring glitches, neurotransmitter decompression, all that stuff associated with the grade. Dr. Bonkers showed his true colors then: offering a discount if he could try some new "methods" he had developed on me. Roneesha was a little worried, as she had had some nefarious cyber put in her involuntarily by the hands of her employers. Maria seemed like she couldn't care less, and she was paying for most of it. As a result, I ended up wired with a low-grade Move-By-Wire System and an Attention Coprocessor. And since the doc was so decidedly bent, and thought that my naked elven body looked so glamorous suspended in the goop tank, he slotted even weirder drek into me. He hacked into my fraggin' pituitary gland and gave me some Tailored Pheromones and Enhanced Pheromone Receptors.He thought it wold make me even more of a charmer, I suppose. Thank Rat he didn't give me Silky Skin. But after getting an Olfactory Booster in my arm, I've seen the potential benefits.
The Pack had found my whereabouts by then, got me back through the tunnels, and back to where I belonged. My home. I had realized it then more than ever. The real moment of understanding was when Master Whiskers cried. He took one look at my limbs, and felt such a great sympathy for me, that he, Old Man Whiskers, who had kept a somber vow of silence for over 16 years, and in that moment he broke down and sobbed for me like a mother seeing her son for the first time since he had left for war, coming back with a crutch, limp, and tin foil badge. I saw the emptiness of my choices in 20/20 hindsight, looked at my self in my inner mirror, and good me slapped bad me in my primordial face, the one glazed over from the temporary thrills of succumbing to temptation. I tried to turn my life around that day.

When I came back to the Pack, I went cold turkey. I took on an ascetic lifestyle and went through all of the Rat shaman trials (without magical aid, of course). The pains were extreme, the cravings tangible, but no matter how many relief spells the Pack members cast on me, there was still a hunger, and aching, for...something. I got in touch with some Chaos wizkids with the Neo-A's, and they told me their trippy theory. They said that trapped within me was a party god, a power animal of such force that no magical means could bind it. The Pack said it was a load, but it made sense to me. The Chaos kids pulled up an image from the nether regions of the 'trix depicting the beast, as portrayed in an old 10's cartoon. They said that it had filled me with the energy of 1,000 party demons. That was the nail in the coffin, as far as the Pack was concerned, but now I could also must feel the party demons churning inside of my blood. The Pack pleaded, "Patience, patience!" and the magicians cried, "Release, release!" So, I did what I should have done in the first place. I compromised. |

The Pack understood that I had yearnings beyond medical and magical care. We developed an agreement: I would be the Pack's agent on the outside, their liaison to the sunlit world, but I would perform their tasks with secrecy and anonymity. No one had ever really known that I was a part of the Pack, as the they had asked me to keep my allegiance a secret, and I told people that I merely had connections with them, so I was at a unique advantage as being both trustworthy and unconnected. I became a deniable asset, a shadowrunner, but not for the megacorps. I hustled for my family, and for the innocents that they sought to protect. I began to smuggle children for them to Maria's clinic, using a persona I had developed heavily on the outside. It allowed me to take advantage of this strange twisted ying-yang-bling-bang my life had become. Gutter-monk at dawn, middle-management-philanthropist at midday, and party animal after sundown. It was if someone had thrown Manhattan in a blender and flash-froze it halfway through the spin cycle. I came to realize that I was synchronized with Manhattan's heartbeat, because, in essence, I was the Rotten Apple Martini with a Lemon Twist. So, for now, I live my life in moderation, letting off enough of the party demon's steam to avoid madness and balancing it with good karma from helping kids. And hey, maybe if I can get my life together, Maria will get over the fact that she thinks I'm a fine wine loving, tree hugging, snobbish vegan. Can't help it if I'm an elf, can I?

Ike, a 22 year-old (assuming 2072) elf, has naturally intriguing and pleasing looks, combining the natural suaveness of an elf with the je ne sais quois of the Mediterranean, gained from his Greek parenthood. He wears his oil-black hair slicked back into a short ponytail tied with cable. He is hairier than most elves, but less hairy than the human Greek males. As is common with those Technomancers who follow the Technoshaman stream, he has adorned himself with light electronics-related accessories, although many fewer than other Technoshamans may wear, due to the seriousness of his occupation. At work, he normally wears a necklace made from fiber optic cable with an antique green datachip dangling on the end that has no functional ability, along with an earring stud made from a transistor on his left ear. He also has a half-inch square patch made from a silicon chip with a capital "D" soldered on in a sci-fi font. When off duty, he may wear an additional pair of dangling transistor earrings on each ear along with a nasal piercing made from a tooled RFID tag in his right nostril. He wears v-necks and other light tee-shirts to show off his chest tattoo. It is designed to look as if his flesh has fallen away to reveal a green silicon chip, the soldering forming a labyrinth with an icon of a minotaur in the center. He often wears an ARO glyph of a cartoon minotaur's face anchored to this point on his chest: a secret signal to fellow disciples of Daedalus. He is physically rather average, but it wouldn't hurt him to do a few push-ups to increase his muscularity. He is of average intelligence, but has a striking magnetic personality that influences both metahumans and the sprites he enjoys communing with.

Ike was born into a working-class family. His father, Nikoli, a gruff-but-loveable fifth-generation Greek human, runs a Greek diner in the Seattle sprawl, locally famous for its relatively-tasty soygyros and actually edible rat-on-stick kebabs. His mother, Aoide, also Greek, works hard as a tailor and plays a real harp recreationally, and had an excellent singing voice.
Ike was born an Otaku, and despite having great potential, his weak grasp of the Matrix and the Resonance allowed him to avoid speculation and discovery. Around the age of 14, the events leading to the Crash 2.0 were brewing. His lack of ability enabled him to slip under the radar of groups like Ex Pacis and Overwatch.
After the Crash, Ike became a Technomancer, and began communing with sprites and the Deep Resonance on a more spiritual level. When his weak arms failed him in the meat world, he found comfort in the strength of drones. His drones became his pets, and he would often ask sprites to inhabit them when he conversed with them; it gave them a more realistic appearance that made his fledgling connection to the Resonance easier to cope with.
When he was 15, the Paragon Daedalus appeared to him when he was fiddling with an old Manservant at a junkyard. He was working on repairing one of its arms, partly out of fascination at its complexity and partially out of curiosity about how the danged thing worked. Daedalus inhabited the drone, using its left (functional) arm and Ike's tools to repair the arm with alarming speed. He caused the drone's eyes to glow with a soft fluorescent green, and he explained many wonders of machinery to an enthralled Ike. Ike now follows his guidance and teachings and eagerly awaits his next appearance.
At the age of 17, Ike was working at his father's restaurant as a bus boy while taking several online classes, mostly on subjects pertaining to drone engineering and repair. He also did some part-time work at various junkyards that allowed him to start building a small collection of mostly-ineffectual drones and toys. He came into contact by chance with a group of Technoshamans at a local junkyard. Apparently, the old failing junkyard has possessed a Resonance Well created by the somehow still-functioning minds of many of the drones there that had clustered themselves into a small network. He shared with them the meeting of his Paragon, and they told him stories of their meetings with their own Paragons. They invited him to join the group as a pledge, and he was later fully initiated with the group. They helped him undergo the ritual of Submersion, where he met with Daedalus again. He imparted him with more wisdom, and told him that the guild was to be trusted. He also warned him of the dangers of the ignorant public, and the even more dangerous corporations and scientific researchers. After coming back from the Resonance Realms, his fellow guild members informed him that they all actually worked for the Ares corporation in various roles, but had managed to keep their abilities secret.
On Halloween night in the year Ike was 19, the Halloweeners thrill gang trashed Ike's father's restaurant, killing two customers and cutting off his father's arm. This loss took a heavy economic toll on the family. Ike was infuriated at the gangers, and generalized this anger towards the entire criminal element. In order to help pay his family's growing debt, and to try to strike back at crime, Ike attempted joining Lone Star. After failing the physical examinations multiple times, he went on a physical training regimen in hopes of building up his endurance [Body] and strength [Well, you know]. He had always been a weak child, but had managed to become more fit [Average Body] and slightly more strong [Under-Average Strength].
He was ready to try again at the age of 20. At this time, however, the regime change had replaced Lone Star with Knight Errant. After just barely passing the physical training course, and doing quite well on the written exam, along with a good word from some of the members of his Technoshaman guild, he managed to join Knight Errant as a beat cop. He kept his abilities a secret by avoiding the plethora of combat drones available to him, as much as it pained him. He also worked hard to excel in the use of firearms and driving. He earned special accommodations for his undercover work, where he used his natural charisma and negotiation skills to organize the release of a BTL-enslaved drug-manufacturing workforce in the Barrens.
For two years he managed to evade the scrutiny and scalpels of the higher-ups. He found himself under suspicion, however, after he failed to resist the temptation to modify one of the new line of Knight Errant rotodrones, similar to the Ford LEBD-1's that he had studied while training to join Lone Star. His connection to the Resonance was probed while he underwent some tests administered by KE scientists. They stopped when they found that his system was particularly sensitive to the intrusion of 'ware.
In a decision that shocked both Ike and his guild, the KE officials decide that instead of firing him, they would train him to become a member of SWAT. They handed him a medal as matter-of-factly as a cashier hands back change for a nuyen, and whisked him off to the high-stakes adrenaline rush that is Knight Errant Special Weapons and Tactics. Already he has shown promise in the field of high-risk hostage negotiation, and is undergoing faux-field exercises to test his merit in this field. Donny was never really the toughest orc, and when you're a street orphan growing up in the Redmond Barrens, that can be a dangerous thing. Naturally, he got pushed around a lot. One day, someone pushed him too far, and he pushed back: with a solid punch to the jaw, just like he'd seen in those old boxing trids. A very solid punch; perhaps even a supernatural punch. At least, that's what the older boy who volunteered to patch up the victimized bully thought. "They call me Patches," he said, "and we've got something in common. We're special, capice? If you get down to the nitty-gritty of it, I'd say we're downright fraggin' magical. Me? I'm an Artisan - I make my mojo with a medkit. But you? Looks to me like you're a Warrior." But Donny didn't really think he was cut out to be a Warrior. He was clumsy and weak, and he tired out easily. He decided to take matters into his own hands, by replacing them with cold, hard steel. But he was Awakened - he couldn't settle for mundane mechanisms. Patches helped him find a guy who could Enchant his fists of fury. When that was done, Patches installed the twin cyberarms, and Donny was finally confident enough to begin his training. Donny started honing his craft at a local gym called "Grumog-Agu". A talent scout named Phil E. Gree saw his potential and set him up for a rookie "Specialist" class boxing match. The "Specialist" class includes everything from Awakened to cyberzombies to changelings, and it heaps up credits for all those involved. The match announcer must have thought Danny performed well, and gave him the moniker of "Double Decker" for his ambidextrous use of his twin cyberarms. Phil was pleased with Donny's performance, and he had earned himself some good money. Of course, Donny got his own share of the winnings, more nuyen than he'd ever seen in his life. He's been studying the sweet science ever since.

Donny was on a good streak - 7 wins. He was starting to garner the attention of the crowds, and Phil was putting more money into him. Phil had him lined up for a new match, and had a hefty sum on the table betting on "Double Decker". His opponent was called "Quatro", and he was aptly named. Donny strode to the center of the ring and lifted up his gloves to tap his opponent's. He was met with two taps - one from Quatro's top pair of arms and another from his bottom pair. Donny was out in 2 rounds. Now he's in debt with Phil - 5,000 bucks - and he needs some quick cash to get back into his agent's good graces.

He often wears necklaces and piercings made from bone, and rents out space in his shop for enchanting and alchemical purposes. He also will enchant items for a commission, and has many personally developed spell formulas available. It is rumored that he hires the Ancients to help him smuggle talislegging materials between the Seattle borders. Skink met him through this affiliation, and he is very interested in her dracomorphosis ability. She uses his magical goods almost solely due to their ability to evade MAD detection.

A mystic adept of the Invisible Way. Instead of being hampered by the inability to wear armor while in drake form, she instead takes advantage of it due to her genetic chameleon skin. Skink was born an orphan in the poverty-stricken region of the Puyallup Barrens known as Tarislar. No orphanage would accept her due to a freakish genetic mutation she was stricken with: Her skin would change colors to match her surroundings. A human couple found her abandoned on the street, and they adopted her. The couple had been fired by MCT for having an office relationship and had somehow found a home among the elves of Tarislar. They had little money, and made what they could from developing new drugs and chemicals for the local gangs. They lived an ironic life; They were a family of outsiders in a community of outsiders. Henkou was a strong-willed child, but she loved her parents deeply. She knew from an early age that they weren't her real parents, but that made her feel more strongly for them. She began doing petty crimes at a young age, despite her parents' urging to "stay clean". She started out pickpocketing, and then burgling. Her talents were not unnoticed by the local underground. The Ancients took her under their wing because her parents were connected, and taught her street smarts. They also gave her the nickname "Skink". When she Awakened, the wizgangers helped her come to terms with these abilities. One day, she was powerboarding to her home after a successful B&E. The apartment building she lived in was ablaze and people were running about in terror. She was terrified; Were her parents in there? Had they escaped? Unfortunately, they had not. A shaman in the Ancients had told her, and when she heard the news, she was filled with emotion, which triggered her dormant dracomorphosis. She would have went on a rampage had the Ancients not managed to restrain and console her. 46 people died in that fire, and the LoneStar official report claimed that an illegal chem lab in the building had spontaneously combusted due to unsafe conditions. Her parents' chem lab. But Skink knew better. Her parents had kept that lab in pristine condition for over 15 years. It wouldn't just explode out of nowhere. Gossip among the Ancients suggested that the report was rigged, that someone had pulled strings to twist the truth. She was consumed with one persistent thought: Someone killed my parents. Now she is motivated to find parents' killer.

Skink is a slim Japanese elf. She has blue-black hair that falls down below her shoulders and her bangs are cut straight across her forehead. She has chameleon skin and small antlers. Wears street clothes/armor that display her association with the Ancients, often wearing long sleeves, pants, a filter mask, and gloves to cover up her skin. She wears a holo hood and projects (sometimes startling) images to cover her antlers.
Note: "The Bag" is MAD-shielded, skinlinked (to allow the current to flow to the inner skinliked components), and ruthenium polymer coated. It carries most of her tools and electronics, but it can get kind of heavy. She may use her powerboard as a sled to transport it, and her drake form can carry it easily.
