Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

If you know what Hetalia is, then you'll get a blast out of this!

The Big Ten. The Biggest Megacorperations out there. Their wacky adventures are the source of nearly all of every shadowrunnner's work.
So who are the Big Ten? Just look at page 42 of SR4 you say? Bah! What i want to know is what the Big Ten Are like as people!
What are the Anthropomorphic Personifications of Each of the Big Ten? What do they look like? How do they act? What sort of Pranks do they like to do on the other Corps (shadowruns)

Its Shadowrun politics at its most fun! In the Style of Axis Powers Hetalia!

An example, of What Hetaila is.

I'm constantly amazed at the speed with which Hetalia is spreading. I do believe we're seeing a new pop culture phenomenon developing. I started watching the series out of a sort of sense of scholarly interest: I was very interested to see what sort of anime the Japanese would start using as an aid to teach young students. After getting a few episodes into the series, I was further amazed by... well, by the Japanese' perculiar take on WWII and the Axis. I suppose this was to be expected... after all, in Japan textbook writers are subjected to, well, censorship isn't exactly the right word, but it's a very, very strong form of editorialism, by a government council to only portray the war in a certain light. For example, the Nanjing Massacre is practically never mentioned, as is the plight of the Comfort Women.

It's so bad, there are some (even many, depending on which demographic you ask) Japanese who aren't even aware that the US and Japan were ever at war. (And those that do know have a... different view of the war than is taught in most countries around the world. If you can find it, check out the inscription on the plaque at Yasakuni that gives the Japanese version on the buildup towards war between the US and Japan.)

But... uh, yeah. I digress.

The series is entertaining, at least. It has that peculiar mix of drama and kawaiisa that seems guaranteed to bring in viewers of all ages.

As for the 6th World version... I would suggest that the various heads of the Megacorps would be the logical choice. Without doubt, Lofwyr is the embodiment of his Corp... after all, his fraggin' picture is on the logo! The Draco foundation... Dunkelzahn would seem the most obvious choice, but I actually think Nadja Daviar is the best fit. Damien Knight also fits his company's persona very well.

The others are a bit harder to decide on.

Yeah, It is interesting how it came about. Originally it was a comic about Afganistan. One of the more well know parts of that comic was how Meris-Tan (America) tore up Afus-tan's (Afganistan) house chasing after a cat that barely scratched her (al qaeda).

Their leaders are a good idea, but some might not represent the company as a whole.
I was initially going for nicknames.
Renraku would be "Ren". Ren is a girl's name so i figured i could start there.

Heh. I'd forgotten the scene between America and Afghanistan. It was... well, oddly accurate, although I don't think getting scratched by the cat was entirely fair to us. More like the cat pulled out a homemade shiv, made by whittling down a pen American gave it, and stuck it somewhere not fun. But yeah.

Okay... names. Most of the names of the characters are just abbreviated familiar forms of the country's names as they're rendered in Japan. Example; Hetalia is achieved by mixing "hen: strang, weird, unusual" with "itaria: Italy."

Thus, I would suggest:

Saeder-Krupp: Zaeda-sama.

Ares: Rizukkun

Draco Foundation: How about Ko-chan (bonus points if you get the entendre there).

Renraku: Yeah, Renchan fits.

Wuxing: Shin-kun (again, bonus point available.)

Evo: I-bo-chan.

Yamatetsu: Yama-ji (ditto)

Shiawase: Reshi-kun ('')

NeoNet: Fe-fe-chan (lots of bonus points.)

Mitsuhama: Mitsu-kun

Horizon: Dunno on this one. Maybe a play on Tensai, which can mean horizon or genius? Or suiheisen, which can be read to mean "where the water meets." Hmm... Sakkun. I like that... lots of possible ways to view it. -Sa from "TenSAi", or it could be viewed in terms of "SAkana" which means fish, which would tie into suiheisen. Dunno.

Aztechnology: Kappa-kun
