Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

Stoneclaw
(Ralph Emmerson)

Stoneclaw, born Ralph Emmerson, was born to a back-woods family who lived outside the sprawl of Seattle. When Stoneclaw began to grow beyond his brothers and sisters, to the point where the shack where his folks dwelt couldn't hold him anymore, he took his leave, living alone in the wild for a while. A Bear-shaman discovered him and tamed him, teaching him how to live with the wild. He might have stayed there for the rest of his days if an Aztechnology 'research team' had not discovered his surrogate father's hut in the middle of the woods.

Bear took pity on Ralph, and Ralph took a new name as he decided to get his revenge. Packing up his things and heading out to the city, Stoneclaw realized that he would have to become a part of the city life that was always so strange to him. The quickest way to get the resources and power he needed was to run in the shadows, something he hadn't before considered, but found necessary to keep up with city life.

Perhaps too candidly, he explained his plight to Marcello, a talismonger who caught sight of him communing with a spirit. Marcello helped him build a shamanic lodge and get set up with the basic things he'd need as a shaman in the city. Stoneclaw still keeps good relations with Marcello as he prepares to descend into the shadows.
