Hello.
Well, I have taken a look around the site, and I really like what I see, helpful people around every corner, willing to help newbish people, which is very much me.
While I have played D&D, Modern d20 and Call of Cthulhu and the first two by both pbp and over maptools, I have only ever once sat down to play Shadowrun, and only got as far as making a character, before the game fell apart (it involved the game being called a ripoff, and the gm showing his ability to use source books as weapons)
But since then, I have always really wanted to play. Having read through most of the story aspects in the 4th ed. book, and reading the time line off a couple places on the web, plus a few other things, the world seems so perfect (in a morbid way) the world is so in depth and thought out, its nothing like the other games I have played (except for maybe the mythos in CoC) I really want to see the world first hand.
So there you have it. I have made a few practice characters for my self use chargens, and have a few ideas I would love to flesh out, and would love to talk to someone about them.
