Posting Issues?

When posting today, I got sent to a page that read:
Maintenance in Progress
and everything else on the page was in French.

I had to re-submit my post.
Anyone else having posting issues?

Nope, but sometimes when I first come to the Home page, I get rerouted to a shadowrun webring. While annoying... it's unavoidable.

That happens to me too! And it really gets on my nerves!

I've let DD know, so that if there is anything that can be done, he is looking in to it. But I've heard no word from him on it yet. I'm not sure that there is a fix.
- As for Maintenence issues: I haven't been informed of anything being done on the site. It could be something being done by our hosts - but they're usually careful to make sure that those changes don't take any time amount of time...

As a follow-up to that Jagger: some of the time (when I remember) I author my post locally in word or a text file. Every once in a while I'll accidently hit the windows key, and exit out of the browser in mid-post, and lose everything. Or accidently delete everything with a hot-key, or the like. It reminds me to use Word when it happens, and then paste it all in to the browser when I'm done. Admittedly: I don't always remember - but the reminders are painful enough...

I have learned to do the same with Notepad myself. Also I have learned that once you copy some text, it stays on the Clipboard until either something else is copied or the system is shutdown. That way, if a post is lost, I can simply paste again.
