Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad. |

| Trouble! - Bark hisses when he sees the lock. He steps to the side of the door and gently tries if it opens with one hand, redying a throwing knife with the other. If it is closed, he'll rewire the circuits to open it while signaling the others to cover him. - Spoiler:
Extended test against lock ratingx2: Hardware+logic 1 combat turnIt takes 6-15 seconds (depending on rating)

| 2315 [safehouse] It only takes a moment for Bark to reconnect the panel. The maglock triggers and the door bumps open. Bark nudges the door open with his foot, revealing a short hallway that opens into a large room. Spraypainted along the rear wall is a large black wolf head and a tag that says 'The Pack RULES!'. The house, by and large, has been trashed. The sofa is slashed and ruined, springs popping up like prairie dogs. The trideo set looks to have been shot with a small caliber weapon and what appears to be claw marks mark every corner in the house. Downstairs, bark comes across a heavy metal door with a reinforced maglock panel. It looks as though someone tried, unsuccessfully, to pry it open. Across from the haevy door is a room filled with dangling wires and the remains of several pieces of electronic equipment. Bark - Spoiler:
A successful test with your RADAR sensor will reveal that there is quite a bit of medical equipment in the room. It all looks to be set up and sitting near a bed. Whoever was here didn't get inside.

| Letha [2015, Safehouse]
"Trouble!"
At Bark's hissed word of alarm, Letha draws her Warhawk, holding it with both hands, barrel pointed skyward, and signals her readiness with a nod when Bark glances around to make sure he's being covered.
Inside, Letha stays with her partner as they make their way through the safehouse, leading with the pistol and checking all potential ambush points and doorways before proceeding further.
The damage looks to be the work of vandals, or perhaps the territorial markings of some go-gangers, but Letha knows from experience that looks can all too often be deceiving.
As Bark examines the trashed security and other electronic equipment, the girl-troll lets the rest of the team in on what's happening:
"The place is fraggin trashed; probably drekhead vandals or a fraggin gang's nest. No one here now."
To Bark, she says:
"I don't like this drek. Could be nothing worse than random destruction of an old unoccupied house, but in light of the mission, I don't think we can risk it. I want to leave two here to guard the henhouse while the others go for the package."

The drop-point is compromised, guards or not. We can't even lock the door properly, not to mention guarding an unknown package here for an uncertain amount of time. Let's search this place, learn what we can, then go to the pickup point and try to get in contact with the employers to let them know what happened here. We made it here under 10', the pickup is about 15' from here so we've got at least twenty minutes to search if we want to play it safe and arrive to the meeting early. I'll go to the panic room, that might be intact - those things are designed to be hard to crack open from the outside and usually hidden, so if this was just an ordinary break-and-vandalize, that should have made it through. I'll leave you to do what you do best, I'll be here in fifteen. And...thread carefully, my sensors tell me we are alone, but that doesn't mean this house is safe.

| Skid sits at a bus stop opposite the drop site, waiting for the drop where he hoped that there were others of his kind in the team. He flips out his Commlink and checks into the bus schedules. Public transport is such a pain in the backside but when you have limited funds, its just a way of life. He begins to build some exploitable back doors into the Safehouse neighbourhood via his Commlink. These will come in handy later, especially when he gains a few new sets of eyes through any Cameras operating in the area. That oughta get us sorted.
He unconsciously hoodies up and hunches Down into the seat. Just a typical meta reaction so as not to attract attention to his height and ‘good’ looks. ‘Ladykiller’ his mum used to say and then at 17 it started with his shoes splitting and meta was the result. Man, who knew puberty was going to be that hard?

| 2245 [Pickup point]
@Bark, Andromeda, Letha and Z
The trip to the pickup point is quick and painless. Traffic on the 410 is slow, even for this hour. The address for the pickup point is an abandoned stuffer shack way past is hey day, its windows long since smashed and its contents looted. Trash litters the lot and is cast about by the wind. The street lights also look to have been the victim of a combination of rocks and alcohol. Idling in the parking lot is a grey oversized cargo van. It is parked parallel with the street and facing you as you approach.
2245 [pickup point] @Skid
A large grey cargo van pulls up to the stop and idles a few feet from where Skid sits. The door pops open and the spell of patchouli fills the air. Inside sits a massive troll dressed in stereotypical leathers. Ain't got all night... he says, his voice souding like a pile of rocks being tumbled in a metal trash can. Barely inside, the van pulls away and travels by surface streets to a broken down stuffer shack that has seen better days. Johnson said you run overwatch and keep dem's what's lookin fer the package from gittin a location. Da package's got rules...
One, He lifts a figer the size of a keilbasa sausage. change da blue container every 4 hours.
Two, change da black container every 6 hours.
Three, don't open da package.
Four, don't open da package.
Five, package stays in da room. No septions.
At 2330, the van stops at the stuffer shack and idles. Dey better don't be late... he grumbles. Skid and the troll don't have to wait long before they have company...

| (Bark, Drop-point) When he arrives, Bark's first thing is to glance around, measuring his surroundings. He notices the ork kid sitting there like he has nothing else to do, the van and the hardly unnoticeable troll towering in leathers. Bark does what he always does: first, he looks for signs of a possible ambush and covering points, second, he measures if he could take the guys in front of him. Totally. - he concludes. No one can stand before an avatar of Totec! With this confidence, he's the first to break the ice: Greetings! - he shows his empty hands (knowing the spurs are ready in one, while scanning them with the radar sensor in the other) - How are you in this fine evening, gentlemen?
- Spoiler:
I get bonus dice if more than one equipment is on them, so I'll always assume +1 die, if they've got less than two cyberware/weapons then -1, if 4-5 (wired reflexes, cybereyes, datajacks, limbs, ears, implanted 'link, reaction enhancers, bone lacing and multiple weapons just to mention the most common) +1, 6- +2 dice is in order! Cyberware/weapons scan (5d6.hits(5)=1)Perception roll for surroundings, including the two guys (11d6.hits(5)=2)

As Bark approaches and starts talking with the two in the van, Letha steps to the front of Andromeda's car. From this vantage point she can see all three of the men near the van and, if needed, be on them before any of them could blink. She hangs back, letting Bark handle the pickup, but she nonetheless activates her wired reflexes and other enhancements to be ready for anything.

Bark approaches the van, sensors extended. Clearly the troll is wired to the tooth; Wired reflexes, Cybereyes, a control rig... The van is a veritable fortress, packed with electronics and weaponry. Bark can see what appears to be a data pad nearly eclipsed by his massive hand, a thin fiberoptic cable disappearing under the cuff of his leather jacket. Close enough shorty... he says with a voice that resounds in Bark's chest He lifts the pad and glances down at it, then back to Bark. Satisfied with whatever he saw, the troll drops the pad to his side. Where's da hottie what punk'd da J? A slight smile curls his lips.

| Z, it's for you! - Bark let down his hands whit a sigh. He seemed to overthink the situation a bit before and almost attacked the guy who now seems to be the real deal. Being cautious is good, but paranoia can hurt as much as carelessness! I worked alone for too long or maybe I'm getting old, who knows? He stepped aside to let Z handle the talking, covering her back from the opposite side where Letha was standing, still scanning for movements around them in the closest buildings and the street. | |

| Letha, still positioned near the front of Andromeda's car, fell in behind Z as she approached the van and the two flunkies assigned with making the package delivery. She decided not to draw her weapon, preferring, for the moment, to let persuasion rule over brute force. She stood to one side of Z and planted her fists on her hips, grinning with a slightly mischievous tilt to her head. Still, the butt of her revolver was plainly visible next to her left breast as a discrete reminder that foolish actions could and would be met with violent consequences.

| Bark could tell the troll had been tense at his approach. His massive shoulders dropped slightly as Bark started talking. The troll watched Bark steadily as Z approached, his face a cool pond of serenity. Well as cool as a crusty, green wrinkled troll face could be... At Z's approach, the troll's gaze shifts briefly from Bark to Z to Andromeda. He makes no attempt to hide his admiration for the pair. Package's in da van. He turns and as he approaches the van a panel on the side about 1.5 meters long slides open. He reaches in and pulls out what looks to be a large... plastic... tube. The mostly beige object has a too panels which are different colors; blue and black. The troll pulls the tube free of the vehicle and carries it via a pair of straps. He stops two meters from Z and holds up a finger for each point. One, change da blue container every 4 hours.
Two, change da black container every 6 hours.
Three, don't open da package.
Four, don't open da package.
Five, package stays in da room. No septions.
Screw dis up and it'll be your last mistake... ever.
He smiles at Z, dull yellow teeth bared in a snarl. He drops the tube with a heavy thud on the asphalt. Leaf-eater over there is yours... he says and turns to his vehicle. @Andromeda & Bark - Spoiler:
It is clear to your sensors that the contents of the tube is a slight framed human man with some sort of wierd bone augmentation, a datajack and some cranial-ware. The tube has a host of electronics packed into it and all of it is connected in some way to the man.

| Sensing there was to be no trouble, at least from their troll 'delivery boy,' Letha stepped up and, crouching for a moment, retrieved the package from where the troll had unceremoniously dropped it.
"I got it," she said to no one in particular.
She hefted the weight of the tube, wondering at its contents, then simply stood waiting until Talker was finished with arranging adequate transport.

I'm glad this one went smoothly. Now we just have a human with weird augs in a tank, a compromised place we should safekeep it in and an uncertain timeline. Anyone has a brilliant plan, or we should just get back to that drekked-up place and hope for the best? Because I'm out.

| Seeing as the Package will take most of the back seat and the number of happy travellers has just stayed the same it would make it hard to fit them all in the Sedan she volunteers to be the one on foot "You take the car, i can get myself other ways of transportation, some one who would be less necessary for securing the drive can come with me or if you are comfortable the way the car is filled you are welcome to take it. In case of danger i can jump in and pilot it from afar, I will be safe if you wait 15 min before leaving as i will need to wait for my set of wheels"
While speaking Andromeda ordered Habu to come and pick her up.
"We can make it work" Andromeda said as Bark mentioned his negative remarks bout the job. " the placement of the house has some advantages and i can make some good sniping post on the roof. and at the end of the street we can make a reckon post with the Shin, it's sensors would inform us about anyone coming our way."
She grinned a bit when she said so, " and if you are very paranoid, you can always get me a surveillance drone to reckon from the air as well."
