One shots or shared world?

Just wondering, is SROPBP a "shared world" setting or is it more of a place for GM's and players to throw some virtual dice? I'm cool with either, but a shared world setting really opens up avenues that just can't be incorporated into a string of unrelated one shots.

Currently it is not a shared world. There was an attempt at a continuing story thread where dice weren't really involved and it was just sort of an RP free-for-all, but it didn't last long.

Hmm, you think anyone here would be interested in a dice-rolling shared world? With just a few good ideas from the players and the approval of the site-owner we could implement such a campaign world without much of a headache. Or is it more of a case of "if I taint broke don't fix it"? Anyone else care to chime in on the topic?

Best way to find out is to have one of the Admin's (probably Gala) make an SRO Poll? Put it to a vote basically. It could help attract more members as they could make a character and work with one of the GMs to work themselves into one of the ongoing stories.

Done and done! Since we're on topic, Wreck, would you enjoy a shared world on SRO of it was implemented?

I would need to see the rule set for how it works. But I'm always up for anything that would give people more playing options.
