History:
Cleo was raised in a rastafarian community. He had no parents, their exact identity was a mystery, as in the commune, somethings were just a little bit too relaxed to define who was his father exactly, and so he became one of the many "children of the commune". At the age of 18, he was selected by the community's elder to become a witch-doctor, a medium of the so called "loa", or spirits. Cleo was overjoyed, and although he undertook very tough tests and training he persisted and came to love his new skills. With his new skills came new knowledge, and so he came to believe all teachings of his elders, that all loa are invisible and that they only appeared in this world through the possession of the witch-doctor.
But over the nights, when he was smoking weed in his hammock, e mourned the fact that he could not see the loa, as he saw other mystical beings while hallucinating after smoking.
One day, whilst dancing to the beat of his beloved reggae music in the community, he fell into a trance. The weed, the drumming, the singing, all this made him feel calm and wild at the same time, wanting to cry with happiness. It was at this time that his mentor spirit, The Dark King, showed up. Cleo saw him as Jah, the Black Christ and the rastafarian god. Over the years, Cleo had dreamed of him at least a thousand times. But that was the first time that he had actually seen a spirit, least of all Jah.
At that moment, he understood that all the other witch-doctors lived in oblivion. Spirits did have forms, and they could materialize in the physical world. Afterwards, he tried to persuade the others, but what could one person do against a thousand years of tradition? He was thrown out of the community, as an exile, a "traitor" to the world of Jah. Nowadays, he still lives in belief that he found the right way of Jah. He hates wagemages and anyone who treats spirits as their "slaves" or as their "toys". He knows that the wagemages are destroying this world, both the physical and the Astral.



Description: Leo is an elf of medium stature, quite young, with dark skin (not black, but almost), dreads, and a smile on his face that vanishes only when face to face with a wagemage.

History and Background:

Esmeralda was born into an elf-circus family. Back in the day, these were fairly popular in Neo-Tokyo and her family had settled their once-roaming circus in a fairground.
From early childhood, Esmeralda was (alongside her brothers and sisters) tutored in many circus disciplines: acrobatics, juggling, and other such deemingly impossible activities became her second nature. From the age of seven, she slowly found out that she could jump higher, lift greater weights and do jaw-dropping acrobatics better than any of her older brothers and sisters. The family consulted a talismonger, who after examining Esmeralda concluded that an occurred Awakening is possible. The family chose not to believe this talismonger, but soon after that, during Esmeralda's knife throwing act, one knife hit the bulls-eye and split the four inch thick wooden target in two.
They consulted the talismonger again and were (reluctantly) told that her new Adept powers must have passed onto her everyday activities through her subconscious. Thus, her abilities had been honed.
Soon Esmeralda was jumping enormous heights and throwing knives at frightening speeds. She also found out that by concentrating hard: she could see and feel how other people felt by their aura.
Soon, with new regulations and laws the family was forced to move away from the city, leaving Esmeralda behind in Neo Tokyo, as she had desired to stay and make a living there. Soon after that, she became a Shadowrunner: without the excitement of some circus acts, life had become boring, and so she lives now for the adrenaline rush that a new Run has to offer.

History and Background: Judah was born into a middle-class family in Prague, where hes pent his childhood. He graduated from highschool and was accepted into the Charles University for Awakened, where he honed his abilities as a qabbalistic mage, due to his heritage. During his university years, he met and spoke to many famous and notorious wizards, including the dragon's Schwarzkopf chief advisor. But there was still somethin nagging at the back of his head. He didn't like the careful aproach of the academical wizards, and so he joined a rogue wiz-kid gang, and steadily rose through the ranks of it. This however still didn't satisfy his need for something revolutionary, and so he did for the first time what was banned in qabalistic culture: animated a corpse. He was banned from the university and fled to Japan, where he lives and runs, but constantly looking for a new oppoturnity to fins something. Extraordinary.



"Jay" looks like the guy in the middle, bu instead of the swastika he's got the star of david tattooed onto his head.

Background:
"Screw" started out as a freelance hacker and rigger for a couple of smaller gangs i the matrix hanging in there. He then found out that to be amongst the best, he'd have to thow in something a bit more... physical, so he started combining hacking with rigging and breaking and entering. On his first big job for The MIdwest Pirates Guild his right arm was sliced off during an accident, where the security doors sliced them off while he was dashing for cover. Nonetheless, he brags about nearly all his exploits, and using his arm as a way of saying, "frag that, I got in, got the data, got out, got the paycheck. fullstop."
