Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

Hey everybody I have a suggestion for you! These books are all Shadowrun novels and are really cool! Read them! they are pretty old I think and could be in your public library:

They are:
Beyond the Pale
Night's Pawn
The Terminus Experiment
Nosferatu
Clockwork Asylum
Just Compensation
Never Trust an Elf
Preying for keeps
Black Madonna
Head Hunters

You probably will have to search Shadowrun as a handle to find them. Also some of them might be in a series so make sure you check that out before reading them.

I'll second that. I've read all of them except for Nosferatu, and they are all pretty good. There are also some new novels coming out.

I'll see if I can get a list of some of the other books to put up here.

I have read all thoes, and loved them. I also have: 2XS and Never deal with a dragon.

I am always looking to buy the old books when ever I find them. I have a goal of finding doubles of books and offering them for prizes for future contests on this site. They will be used, but if I can find them I will do that... as long as people want them...

PostSubject: Re: Shadowrun Novels   Shadowrun Novels EmptyThu Dec 03, 2009 9:35 pm

Ugh. I have waaayy too many books. I've been trying to build a list like that from my personal library, but haven't managed to wrangle all of them up yet. I'm glad you found that Lava: I was dreading having to type it up when I finished my hunting.

Uh... heh. Easier to list the novels I don't have than the ones I do:

9 5302-1 Shadowplay
12 5367 Lone Wolf
14 5427 Nosferatu
22 5542 Dead Air
23 5594[2] The Lucifer Deck
32 5712 Wolf and Raven
33 5713 Psychotrope
36 5742 Crossroads
38 5775 Ragnarock
39 5819 Tails You Lose

All the books are worth a read, imo. They range from decent to good. The newer ones (the Wizkids titles) resemble the older ones in that most of them seem to be from before the Wireless changeover, and retain the same "feel" as the old Shadowrun setting from before the second crash.
If you're looking for something to help you get into the SR spirit, find out something about the Sixth world not mentioned in the sourcebooks, or just want something to kill an afternoon with, they'd be a good investment.

Unfortunately, you'll likely have to go to ebay to find them. Except for the Wizkids titles, they're all mostly out of print.

PostSubject: I can't wait to go on leave   Shadowrun Novels EmptyThu Dec 10, 2009 1:26 pm

I want to hit the used book stores when I go on leave. I am looking for any and all used SR novels. I loved them when I was younger, and still enjoy them today. I do have a lot of the origional novels, but I want to get copies of them...

Ragnorok was a good one. I re-read it back in March...
