     Daven met her years ago.  Annice was working a contract for Ares and during the period of her contract Daven was her designated driver. 
     Daven left a good enough impression on Annice that she contacted him the week after he left Ares to make sure he had her contact info.
     She has been helpful in starting his new life outside of Ares.  She is amused by him in some odd way Daven can't figure out.

     Distinguishing features:  Grey hair cut razor short covers both head and face.  Heavily wrinkled and battered face on a short stocky 
     body that looks more like a really tall dwarf.
     Charly works for Freddies Junckers in Renton as a general mechanic and supervisor.
     Another former employee of Ares.  He was a general mechanic for a long time before one day showing up for work while completely drunk 
     and groping an administrative assistant before getting sick and passing out.
     Daven and Charly used to work closely together at Ares and became good friends. In fact in many ways Charly became a friendly Uncle to 
     Daven.  So much so that Daven helped him find a new  place and job after Ares fired him.
     Since leaving Ares Daven hangs out with and helps out at Freddies Junkers for a bit of extra cash.

Character Description
Physically Daven is average height and somewhat lean in appearance with strong Scandinavian features.  His short hair is worn flat to his scalp, 
covering his forehead and leaving his ears exposed.  A long and crooked nose and hollow cheecks make him seem perpetually hungry.  
His cyber eyes are customized polished crhome on brushed chrome.  A series of small scars run across his eyes and cheeks.  He has several long 
scars running down his right arm and shoulder to his right knee.  
He has a tendancy to bunch up his shoulders and doesn't smile all that often and usually only in quick bursts.  He is a fidgeter, usually fidgeting 
with a cigarette or lighter but anything small will due for him.

Background
Born in Everett Seattle, the single child of Joice Rosenthal and Richard Rosenthal.  

Joice, an executive assistant at Ares in Transportation, and Richard, a security agent at Knight Errant, where very much carreer oriented and on the 
fast track when Daven was born.  They both spent more time working their carreers than at home.  Leaving Daven in the care of a number of nannies 
and tutors.  Generally they were only interested in his future career,  the education and connections he would need.

He was a very inquisitive and hyper active child who craved attention.  Much of his childhood was spent trying to get more of his parents attention 
and affection with rather poor results.  

By the time he turned 13 he had become very rebelious, feeling bitter about his parents lack of attention and even at Ares and Knight Errant for 
taking them away from him.  He began stealing money and cigarettes from his father.  Getting repeatedly caught smoking at school and at home.  
When this caused no real change in his life he started skipping (or trying to) from school and (more succesfully) sneeking out of home to hang out 
at the Alderwood Mall smoking and spending the money he snitched from his parents.  He was caught regularly doing this as he made no effort to 
hide it and actively made as public a scene as possible.  All this did was bring more embarrasment on his parents which did not help either of their 
career plans, something they spent much time trying to explain to Daven.

The one thing that he has always been fascinated with where vehicles, moving machines of any kind.  What makes him happiest is something he can 
control.  It started with little toys and as he grew it developed into a love of cars and motorcycles which rapidly expanded to any type of ground craft 
or aircraft.  It was also an interest that his parents shared to some degree, by the time Daven turned 16 this was the only topic they could politely 
discuss.  They arranged his education around Daven's interst in vehicles and drones, hoping that he would become a designer. .  Daven quickly 
disbused them of that, having no interest in the designing of anything.  All he wanted to do was drive them.  They also got him his first Data Jack as 
a 16th Birthday gift.

At 17 He stole his fathers Westwind and took it for a joyride.  While speeding (litterally) down Highway 9 when a Knight Errant patrol spotted him.  
Daven panicked and refused to stop. racing the Knight Errant patrol all the way into the outskirts of Redmond where he hits a bad patch of road and 
crashes the car sending himself through the windshield.  The Knight Errant patrol was attacked by local gangers while trying to recover Daven, requiring 
two more patrols and a Doc Wagon Chopper to get everyone out.

The Westwind was completely destroyed and Daven ended up in Intensive care with heavy lacerations of his face and right side.  His eyes were too badly 
damaged to treat so he received his first set of cybereyes.  Two other Knight Errant offices were seriously injured while extracting him.  His parents had to 
call in a lot of favours and made considerable sacrifices to their careers in order to keep Daven out of trouble and cover the medical costs.  It also brought 
Daven closer to his parents than he had ever been.
As part of reconciling with his parents he enrolled for electronics courses.  As the courses where held in the Matrix he was able to attend classes while still 
in hospital.  Never as enjoyable as rigging Daven found he was good at it, quickly covering the basics and moving on to more advanced courses. Having no 
real passion for it he dropped out short of a degree, having found a new obsession, anthroforms.

Things settled down and Daven even began reconciling with his parents.  After a lot of talking and pulling of strings they got him a job in the motor pool at 
Ares.  Initially just parking vehicles and cleaning them.  At the same time Daven started learning how to fly as well as refining his driving.  Daven happily 
settled into Ares and worked hard to get more time behind the controls of anything he could and things were going great.  He even quit smoking entirely.

At 20 he was promoted to chauffering people, and as a bonus he recieved his control rig and gave him some basic instructions on using pistols and automatics.  
At the same time he decided to upgrade his eyes, getting the chrome on chrome ones he still sports and added a second data jack.  Daven was finally happy 
with his relationship with his parents, it had finally become what he had always wanted.  He was also very happy at Ares.
At 20 Daven had never really thought about anthoform drones.  Yes he had seen them before but was never truly attracted to them.  Then he watched a 
demonstration at Ares where some newly arrived drones were being tested.  After watching the show Daven could not stop thinking about them.  For the next 
year he petitioned and pestered his boss and supervisors for a chance at anthroforms.  Finally after offering to do it on his own dime and off hours they allowed 
him to steal some training and practice time with any available anthroform, usually only a few hours before or after his shifts.

As the years went by he could not help noticing hints at the less pleasant side of corporate activities.  For the most part these he followed the corporate 
line and justified it. One instance that did bother him was a mechanic friend of his being fired for showing up drunk on several occaisions (after his wife had left him).  
Daven felt they should have helped and supported the man, not just fired him.

Shortly after his 23th Birthday Daven finally moved out on his own and dedicated even more of his time to rigging and beginning to collect drones and vehicles.

At 24, Daven's father is killed and his mother disapears from within the Seattle Headquarters.  Daven's first hint that something was amiss is when he get's a 
text message from his father saying 'love you son.  sry, no time.  gotta run.'  just before he was killed.  

Shortly after this Daven was aprehended by Ares Security and held for several months during wich they spent considerable time and effort extracting everything 
they could from him regarding his parents.  Finally they determined that he was not involved.  
The officially released statement being that Daven's mother was kidnapped and his father was killed by the runners snatching her.  The unofficial story was that 
his parents had been selling secrets and were trying to escape persecution, his mother escaping with the assistance of runners and his father being killed by 
Ares Security.

Ares confiscated all of his parents belongs and assets.  They also fired Daven as a potential security risk.  With his family and his job taken from him Daven 
promptly started smoking again with a vengeance, doing about 2 packs a day while sitting around drinking himself into oblivion.  The trauma of losing his parents
Without further income Daven ends up selling off his stuff to pay bills finally at the advice of an old friend Charly and a timely call from Annice, a lady he had 
chauferred for on several occaisions.  Daven sold off almost everything including his suite.  Put the money into a sedan and a nice truck, secured a cheeper 
apartment in Renton with good parking.  
Attempts to get jobs at any corporate or big company showed he would never have any security clearance worth noting. Daven tried briefly to drive a taxi for 
a career but it just didn't sit well for him, no thrill or challenge and definetly no comraderie among drivers.  He quit within 5 months.

With all his normal options burning out Daven is starting to consider the shadows.  He contacted Annice and discovered that she was a 'fixer' and would be 
happy to help me slip into the shadows.
