Wow. Yeah, you quickly figure out what does what and turn it on. You can now use it as a stretcher. You also now know enough about the controls to access all of its basic functions.

I don't think I need a roll for starting up an RV, do I? I can roll Logic + Automotive Mechanic though, if it's necessary. (She doesn't know how to drive a groundcraft, but she can repair one, and part of that is knowing how to start it, I figure).

I have decided a canine would be too impractical for the RV. That and the good ones require a luxury lifestyle to support their diets. Instead I am going with the badass desert falconer. Merlin Hawk, I choose you!

However, if you still want the dog, note that Fenrir Wolves are awakened, require only a Middle lifestyle to maintain, and are seriously badass. Seriously, tell me what you want and I'll see what I can do to make it feasible. Just no Cerebus Hounds. If you want one of those, you're really gonna have to work for it. Also, note that if you adopt a pet, I'm ruling that you can use karma to improve its stats at the same costs as if you were improving your own.
