Looks like the Mages are in short supply. We waiting on a few more to apply?

I think Paradox is waiting for Riggers to get moving before he goes on with Mages. We've got Bane and Puck for that audition. I'm going to try and update Riggers tonight. I've been slammed with finals the past few days or so, and haven't been able to get her initial post written up.

So yeah i pm Paradox with my choice of vehicle already as soon as he gets back to me ill post.

Just an FYI, I'll be out of the country from 5/20-6/1.

A description of the Offensive Mana Barrier spell, in case anyone needs it:

From pg. 174 of Street Magic:

Quote :

"This ramped up version of the Mana Barrier spell... takes it a step further by "zapping" any spirits, dual beings, or astral forms that come into contact with it. The barrier inflicts physical damage with a DV equal to its Force. Otherwise, the spell functions the same as Mana Barrier."

And Mana Barrier, just for completeness and ease-of-access. Pg. 204 SR4 Corebook:

Mana barrier creates an invisible barrier of magical energy with a Force equal to the net hits scored. This barrier does not restrict physical beings or physical objects, but it does impede spirits, foci, dual beings, and spells. If cast on the astral plane, it also impedes astral forms and restricts visibility. Any target of a spell that is on the other side of the Mana Barrier receives a bonus to its spell resistance dice pool equal to the barrier's Force...

The book dose not say that the sprite needs to maintain the power actively. So dose this mean it can hit'em with gremlins and then move on to something else while the powers still in effect or will it need to be maintained.

I would say that it's a one-off: the idea is that this sprite is causing a fault in a physical device. The fault isn't a phony set of digital signals, unlike a hacking attempt, but an actual defect, like a virus. I would say it doesn't need to be maintained.

But that's just the way I'm viewing it. You're right, the language doesn't say one way or another.
