Elf/human half breed

I have an idea on a elf/human half breed that I have been working on. What would you call a race like that?

Half-Elf their rampant in DnD...

I can't remember if 4th ed chimed in on this, but in 3rd ed. it was addressed: The results of a union between any two metatypes would result in a child that either one or the other. Thus, the results of an elf and a human mating would either be an elf or a human. It even said that some families of this sort would up with children of both metatypes.

I don't have a 3rd ed book with me: Would anyone mind checking it to be certain and provide a citation?

Yeah T, you're right. One or the other, but not both. As for having a "half breed," you could accomplish something of the sort using Qualities and Surge. You likely could do some similar stuff with Genetech, and even a cheaper version with Cyber/Bio tech. But you would have to start out as one or the other, and then make modifications.

No problem. Probably the simplest version of the "Half-Breed" would be a human base, with Elf Ears grown on using Bioware.

Elf or human with Poser quality which would cover the judgements a halfer would likely recieve is also an idea.
