The 7,500 euros of debt he has with Pretzlav said something else. Small courier service between Hamburg and Frankfurt, from time to time and sometimes a little bit more dangerous jobs and that's it, but here in Tokyo, everything was different. At least he knows enough japaness to get along with the local traffic policemen and also Saab won't find him here, at least he hoped so. But right now he sits in a bar in Neo-Tokyo and have to stay in Japan until he have enough money to pay his debts back or until Pretzlav sends him somewhere else. Pretzlav has assured him that he forgets half of the debt if he makes a couple of not so legal courier jobs here in Japan. He had some minor disagreement and so Pretzlav needed a driver he trusted or at least owned. But until everytbit of the debt is payed off it will take years. Therefore, Peter had ask around in the shadows and maybe there are some small part-time job where someone need a driver. The streets near Frankfurt were not exactly safe, and Peter dares perfectly willing to withstand the matter here. Hopefully soon someone logs on here, half of his savings are used for the thing for a living and also his lucky spirit in the gambling hall hasn't shown up for a long time so far. If the next Urban Sprawl victory goes back to the Japanese again, he promised himselft to finaly stop the betting, for sure. Likes: Films and Music from 2000 and earlier, fast cars, gamblingDislikes: Waiting and Boredom and slow busdrivers Contacts: Groschk: Spare parts, car accessories, customs documents the Ork Groschke can get it. For about 7 years, both know each other, e.g. in their weekly poker night. Now that Peter is in Japan, this has postponed the poker game in the matrix. Pretzlov: Peters boss for more than 5 years. He has the goods and Peter delivered them. Pretzlov has contacts all other the world and one of them ask for a good driver for some day-time-jobs. He also is a person who always lend you money if you need it, but he also quit often wants his money back. The last time Peter lend some money from Pretzlov, was when he got a absolutely safe tip aboout a combat golf fight or so Peter thought. Next week, we Peter came back to Pretzlov to tell him he lost all the money, Peter was send to Japan. At some point in time, Peter and Pretzlov were more friends, but with the rising debt and the employee-boss-relation, there isn't much left of this friendship. Positive Qualities: Guts, Gearhead: Peter likes to drive fast. To bad that his current car was given to him by Pretzlav who don't see the fun in fast cars. Negative Qualities Former Addiction to Gambling: To stay in Japan for more than a few month has cured quit a bit of Peters addiction to gambling. But there is still the hope, that you may come up lucky one day and also this tiny bit of kick just before a dices finish to role. Right now, Peter is aware of this weakness and trys to control it. Enemy and Debt3: see Background In Debt 1: 7.5ooo€ + tax. Peter even sleeps in the van to save money, to pay up this debt. Actually the debt was much higher, but Preschlov also toke Peters sport car and brought him to Japan for some almost unpaid, but still risky work. Skills: Most of the skills are based on Peters habit of gambling and on his job as courier. Latter sometimes ends with some little gunfire on the highways. Also the need to negotiate with street cops and his creditors has improved his social skills. Gear: Control Rig: A must-have for every driver. Move-by-wire: 5-4 years ago Peter was a test driver for cars and air-vehicles for the A-conzern 'Saab' in sweden. They has given him the Move-by-Wire System so that he can drive every new vehicles without learning the controll board manual. It is still a few years ago, so the model the con gave him is now ranked at level 2. This is by the way also the reason he know a little bit about piloting aircrafts. They installed a cranial bomb to make sure he don't run away. Nevertheless at some point in time, Peter find out, that his boss, who stole money from the project budget, wants to sapotage the ne test car to cover the theft by the accident. Peter found this out and tried to run away, but was stopped by some security gards. His boss but him into the new test car, bound and gagged and active the autopilot. The car should crash into an big maintenance robot. Peter managed to cut hisself loose, fortunately, a few sharp edges have not been ground down in the interior and drove the new car out of the testing area. He was really desperate, every seconde the the cranial bomb can blow up and after a houre he also got the news that he was blamed for stealing the new test car. He thought about returning to the con und give himselft in before his he explodes, but then he got a message. In exchange for the car and some other favors, the person can remove the cranial bomb. Peter didn't believe that his boss will let him stay alive when he reached the con building again, so he made the deal. He never saw the author of the message in person, just a place where he find the right doctor, a place where he has to leave the car after the operation and a picture of a wired game card. Whoever comes to Peter with this game card, this person can claim a life debt. After a few years searching, Peter never found the smallest clue, who this person was. In the years after this, Peter worked as driver to travel around europe to make sure, 'Saab' and especially his old boss can't find him that easily. There are also some scars on his left hand, where he cut of his bonds in the test car. What he found out, was the name of the doctor, whom treated Peter back there in Sweden. His name was Olaf 'White Eye' Fjomson. Peter has a picture and some data about him, but he died a year and a half after Peter left Sweden. Dr. Fjomson 2065 Internal Air Tank: Peter didn't had one, when he fall with his car into the Kieler Förde. After a little reanimation by a very ugly ork, Peter came to the conclusion to get at least one. Muscle Toner: Driving ans shooting at the same time need precision. So after some minor clashs with lokal highway bandits near Berlin, he used his job money and ask Groschk to get some toner for him. Weapons: Ingram Smartgun X: Fitts perfectly into the door compartment of Peters old car. Explosive Rounds (10 shots): He used to fill at least two or three at the bottom of the ammo clip. So he always hears when he gets out of ammo. Armors: Helmet : Won it in his first car race in Hamburg Altona. Peter normaly just wear it when it going to get 'interesting'. Vehicles: GMC Bulldog: Pretzlov got him the car in Neo-Tokyo. Nothing special, unfortunatel. Commlinks: Ultrawideband Radar Sensor: Peter won it from some Corp-Guy at a skat game in Mannheim and never managed to sell it. It gets kind of usefull sometimes, so he puts it into his Armor and connected it to his contact lenses. Equipments: Fake Sin: Pretschlov got him this SIN to contact Peter in Neo-Tokyo and to bring him over the border into the city. Medkit: Car crash and no medkit is a very unhealthy combination. Peter try to avoid both. DocWagon Contract: And when the medkit is not quit enough, call the Doctor. Low Lifestyle: Peter mostly life in his car when I drove to Japan to save money for the debt. Right now he rent a room in a cheap motel somewhere in Neo-Tokyo.

Das er ermordet wurde, fanden sie aber auch nicht korrekt. Jetzt, wo ich weiß, wo man solche SIN billig herbekommt, kann man meiner Meinung nach, die auch gern an mehr Spezies vergeben. 2060: Renraku Shutdown: Als rauskam, dass da Otaku eine ganze Archologie übernommen haben, hat mein Vater mir erstmal die versprochenen Cyberaugen wieder gestrichen. Dafür hat er mich mit aufs Testgelände seiner Firma genommen, als ich echt traurig wurde. Hacker allgemein sind mir seit dem sehr suspekt. 2061-2: Der Komet: Ein paar Komet-Kultisten haben im Haus nebenann ein Feuerelementar beschwören, der halbe Block ist abgebrannt. Die Versicherung wollte nicht Zahlen und mein Vater bekam echte Geld- und Alkoholprobleme deswegen. Das schlimmste war jedoch, dass meine Mutter im Feuer starb. Magie ist viel zu gefährlich und sollte einfach abgeschafft werden! Wir sind daraufhin umgezogen, zu einer Zweigstelle von Vaters Firma in Hamburg. War ne harte Zeit. Papa hatte die Lust an der Arbeit verloren. Es ging sogar mal soweit, dass ich für ihn einspringen musste. Eine ganze Woche lang Waffen auseinanderbauen, zusammenbauen, Elektronik kalibrieren. Nicht das ich dabei was gelernt hätte, aber als 18 jähriger hat man eigentlich was anderes im Kopf. 2064: Matrix Crash 2.0: Die Firma meines Vaters wurde vor einem Monat von Aztech. aufgekauft und die halbe Belegschaft durch Roboter ersetzt. Mein Vater gehörte dazu, jetzt sitzt er den ganzen Tag in der Wohnung, vergammelt in der Matrix und ich halte uns mit kleinen Jobs über Wasser. Ein ehemaliger Kollege von Papa, ein Troll namens Donnerberg hat immer mal wieder kleinere Kurieraufträge für mich. Der Crash hat dann das Hirn meines Vaters entgültig frietiert. Ich hab noch versucht in rauszuholen, hab aber selbst eine gewischt bekommen. Selbst unser Nachbar, ein Arzt konnte nichts mehr tun. Mir hat er übrigens irgendwelche posttraumtischen Schäden diagnostiziert. Von der Matrix halt ich mich erstmal fern. Und ratet mal, die Versicherung will auch diesmal nichts zahlen. 2065: Mein erster Run: Ich wohne derzeit in einer eigenen Wohnung, 2km vom alten Friedhof wo mein Vater liegt. Die Asche meiner Mutter haben wir irgendwann 2062, in unseren ersten Tagen in der ordsee (etwas weiter drausen, wo das Meer wenigstens den Anschein von Sauberkeit hat) verstreut. Quasi als Zeichen für ein Neuanfang. Heute hat Donnerberg mir ein echten Run angeboten. War eigentlich nur da um die 200€ für den Kurierauftrag von letztem Montag abzuholen, als er mir sagte, ein Hacker braucht noch ein paar Hände für ein Einbruch. Leichtes Geld, die Hälfte sind erfahrene Leute, also wenig Risiko für mich, solang ich mich nicht zu dumm anstelle. Kopf untenlassen und tun, was der Chef sagt, also. Hab zugesagt und paar Tage später saß ich zwischen verchromten Muskelprotzen und kleinen Fischen, wie mir, in einer Lagerhalle. 10 Runnern und diesem Hacker namens Mauler. Er und ein paar Matrixkollegen wollen irgendein Matrixknoten lahmlegen, der einige Sicherheitssysteme steuert. 4 Gebäude werden betroffen sein, deren Systeme dann Zeitgleich ausfallen. Die Runner sollen vor Ort sein und irgendwelchen bestimmten Hardware-Kram da rausholen. Die Runner werden aufgeteilt auf 2 kleinere Lagerhäuser , eine Privatwohnung und ein kleines Kaufhaus. Ich, ein Neuer, der sich selbst „SpeedX“ nennt, ein Ork (sein Namen hab ich nie richtig verstanden, er war der Fahrer, also hab ich ihn so genannt) und ein Mensch namens „Barman“ sollen das Kaufhaus übernehmen. Wir fahren also dahin, Barman hat auf der Fahrt dahin geschlafen, oder meditiert, SpeedX hat seine Waffe, ein grüne lackiertes Monster poliert und jedem erzählt, wie schnell er damit schiessen kann und so ein Kram. (Kann mich noch dran erinnern, dass er sagte, dass da 12 Kugeln ins Magazin passen.) Ich hab gemacht, was Donnerberg gesagt hat, war still, hab mir die Baupläne vom dem Kaufhaus angeschaut und was sonst noch auf dem Chip draufwar, den Mauler an jeden verteilt hat. Man war ich nervös. Dann standen wir am Hintereingang vom Kaufhaus und haben gewartet. Wir zwei Neulinge total nervös, haben ständig auf die Uhr geschaut. Barman schlief weiter, schein es, denn sobald das Signal kam (die Überwachungskamera sind alle aus gegangen), sprang er auf und ist direkt auf die Hintertür gegangen. Wir zwei Neuen hinterher. Was dann passierte, kann ich kaum noch rekonstruieren, da ging alles so schnell. Wir sind rein, direkt zum Büro des Marktleiters, dessen Rechner gegriffen und wollten wieder raus. Dann standen plötzlich 4 vermummte gestalten vor uns, die Arme voll mit Kommlinks (die waren wohl gerad selbst dabei hier einzubrechen). SpeedX will seine Waffe ziehen, verhädert sich am Gürtel und fällt hin. Die anderen Typen lassen die Kommlinks fallen und ziehen aus ihre Waffen. Keine Ahnung wie, aber plötzlich war ich hinter einem Blumenkübel. Links von mir war Barman, der über die Kante in den Gang schießt. SpeedX ist auf der anderen Seite vom Gang hinter einem Soykafautomaten. Feuert blind um dessen Kante. Die Knarre machte viel Lärm, ich weiß nicht ob er getroffen hat. Am Ende des Gang hörte ich ein Schrei, SpeedX sprang in den Gang um weiter zu feuern. Es sagte noch: „Fresst das, ihr Arrg..“ Leider hatte er alle 12 Kugeln verschossen und bekam jetzt selber eine in die Brust. Irgendwie war meine Waffe in meiner Hand, in den Gang gerichtet und ich schoss. Dann hörte ich ein Scheppern, Reifen quitschen und weitere Schmerzenschreie. Barman zog mich hoch, drückte mir den Rechner in die Arme und rannte über den Gang, um SpeedX aufzuheben. Der Fahrer war wohl durch die Glassfront gefahren und in die andere Gruppe rein. Gerenne, gebrülle und plötzlich waren wir im Wagen und auf dem Weg zum Treffpunkt. Ich hatte bis jetzt noch nie jemanden erschossen. (Barman hat mit später erzählt, dass ich das auch da noch nicht getan hätte. Aber eine der Soykaf soll ein schönen Smily bekommen haben.) In den Nachrichten hab ich etwas von Bandenkrieg in dem Einkaufzentrum gelesen. Mauler hat da angeblich was in der Matrix gedreht. 2070: Technomancers: Na toll, Magier und Hacker in einem. Die erste Hysterie fande ich jedoch für übertrieben. Hab zwar noch nie selbst gegen Magier vorgehen müssen, aber genügend Blei sollte auch die um nieten und Hacker dann erst recht. Etwas extra Paranoia schadet aber nicht. Habe darauf erstmal meine PAN und Cyberware etwas sicherer gemacht, bzw. ich arbeite dran. Eine Datenbuchse sollte recht nützlich sein, ohne Wireless auszukommen. 4 – Shadowpath: Donnerberg hat durch den Crash selbst einige Probleme bekommen bzw. neue Optionen bekommen und versucht, soviel Daten von Isolierten Rechnern zu retten bzw. zu bekommen. Alleine auf der Strasse bekam ich von ihm meinen ersten Run, zusammen mit ein paar anderen versteckte Rechner in Hamburg abzuklappern. Durch meine erste Zeit in Hamburg als Jugendlicher hatte ich ein paar Tricks gelernt und die konnte ich jetzt gut nutzten. Das Geld war gut und vlt. Bekomm ich als Runner irgendwann mal die Chance den großen Kons wie Aztech oder den Versicherungen eins aus zu wischen. 5 – Living space: Wohnung im Mietsblock in Hamburg. Gerade Formen, Gesetzmäßigkeiten und Ordnung sind die paar Sachen, die in den Schatten vom Abschaum trennen. Meine Wohnung ist meist sauber und die Wände mit Karten und Blaupausen bepostert. Für Pflanzen und Kunst hab ich dagegen wenig interesse. Wenn genug Platz ist, versuche ich Job und Freizeit auch räumlich voneinander zu trennen. In der Wohnung selbst habe ich Komfort durch Sicherheit ersetzt. Verstärkte Tür mit starkem Rigel, Tische so ausgerichtet, dass man sie als Deckung nutzen kann, im obersten Stock gelegen, gegen Scharfschützen. 6 – Beliefs: Da ist immer etwas über einem. Das hat nichts mit Religion zu tun, sowas ist für S, pinner und Fanatisten, wie dieser Kometen-Kult. Beten hilft meistens nichts in dieser Welt, entweder man macht es selbst, oder hat genug Geld und lässt es machen. Meine Eltern waren eher Sympatisanten der Humanis Club Gänger. Ich finde ein gesundes Mass an Misstrauen gegenüber allem und jedem ist im Schattengeschäft nötig. Rassismus ist dagegen hinderlich, naja Ghoule und Drachen verdienen vlt. Etwas mehr vorsicht, aber sonst. Meine Vorurteile gehen dagegen eher gegen Magier. Adepten gehen noch, auch wenn ich da ebenfalls skeptisch bin. 7 – Dislikes: Rauchen hab ich mir nach meinem ersten Run angewöhnt, obwohl ich weis, dass sowas einen früher oder später umbringt. Auch das ich so an der Waffe hänge, könnte einmal gefährlich werden, vorallem, wenn ich sie immer weiter modden lasse. Das ist eine jahrelange Datenspur an deren Ende ich stehe. 8 – AAA: Am unliebsamsten ist mit natürlich Aztechnology, nicht nur wegen meiner Vergangenheit, sondern weil man in den Schatten auch paar Sachen hört, die deren PR-Maschinerie gerne mal vertuscht. Eh, sie setzen Blutmagie ein, das kann niemand gutheißen. Auch wenn Knight Errant eine ständige Bedrohung ist, stellen sie leider auch gute Waffen her, u.a. auch meine Ares Predator. Aber als Shadowrunner hat man ja wenig Jobwahl. Hatte mal nettene kleinen Job: Einbruch in ein kleinen Aztech-Shop, klauen von Dokument A, kopieren und veränderen bei einem Fälscher und deponieren von diesem Dokument A' wieder, markiert als anonyme Intel, in einem Ares-Bürokomplex. Ich konnte natürlich nicht wiederstehen, den Safe ebenfalls zu leeren. 9 – Contacts: Doc Brown ist war unser Nachbar, er war als StreetDoc schon immer in den Schatten beschäftigt, er hat mir auch meine Spielsachen besorgt und eingebaut. Hab mal ein Kurierfahrt mit einem Vetter von ihm gemacht und dabei eine Kugel für ihn kassiert. Seit dem hab ich keinerlei Angst mehr, wenn ich auf Docs Tisch liege. Donnerberg ist dagegen eher rein berufliche Natur. Er wurde wegen ein paar krummen Geschäften aus Papas Firma geworfen und hat dann sein eigenen kleinen Einzelhandel in Hamburg aufgemacht. Als Mutter starb, hat er uns eine Wohnung dort besorgt. Er und Papa haben früher auch gern mal zusammen gejagt, als sie noch jung waren und bevor Papa Mama kennen gelernt hat. Barman taucht nicht als Kontaks auf, genau wie Monika. Barman hat seine Beine bei einem ziemlich üblen Run verloren. (hab Gerüchte gehört, er ist ein paar Geister gerannt. Magie mal wieder!) Und arbeitet jetzt ganz legal als Rausschmeisser in einem kleinen Kneipe an der Alster. SpeedX arbeitet derzeit als Parkplatzwächter unter dem Namen Jochen Milchheimer. Bin mir nicht sicher, ob er sauber ist, hab eine Datei mit Material (u.a. alte Feads über gemeinsame Runs, paar Bestechungsfälle, etc.) beim Doc hinterlegt für alle Fälle. Sonst ist er noch genauso gesprächig wie immer (nichtmal die Kugel in seier Lunge konnte das verhindern). Der Inhalt ist zwar nichts handfestes, nichts was als Intel während einem Run nützlich ist, aber als Gesprächsstoff während einem Kneipenabend ganz entspannend. 10 – Freizeit: Falls ich nichts zu tun habe, halte ich meinen Körper fit und die Wohnung sauber. Dabei prüfe ich die Sicherheitssysteme der Wohnung und so Sachen. Wenn sonst nichts anliegt, lese ich meist in Zeitschriften und Datenfeads über Chemie, Cyberware und Waffen oder gehe zu Docs kleinen praxis für Smalltalk oder eine runde Karten zusammen mit seiner grünhaarigen Helferin. (DocWagon-Fahrerin Monika Fremm, hab etwas Nachforschung zur Sicherheit über sie gemacht, scheint sauber zu sein). Wenn keine Runs anliegen, bzw. sich die Hitze vom letzten gelegt hat, eine kleine Runde trinken mit Barman und Co. 11 – Skills: Die meistens Skills habe ich entweder in den Schatten von Hamburg , bei Praktika in der Firma meines Vaters oder Runnerjob-bedingt gelernt. 2068 habe ich mal ganz legal bei einer Sicherheitsfirma gearbeitet, hat mir aber nicht so gefallen da. Bezahlung war schlecht und als dann tatsächlich mal ein paar Runner gekommen sind, wurde der Schaden, obwohl ich die doch verjagt hatte, mir dennoch vom Lohn abgezogen. 12 – Wo es aufhört: Sry, aber bei Kindern und Jugendlichen hört es auf. Ob Drogen an die Verkaufen oder Wetwork gegen sie, da ist Schluss bei mir. Auch allgemein zeugt Töten und übermäßige Gewalt meiner Meinung von schlechtem Stil. Schon komisch, sowas von jemand so hören, der sich mit Sprengstoff fast besser auskennt, als mit Nahkampf. Unnötiges Töten ist problematisch für mich, vorallem wenn es um unbeteiligte Zeugen geht. Zeugen stellen leider ein Sicherheitsrisiko da, ich könnte mich vermutlich nur schwer überwinden, sie selbst zu erschiessen. Ich hoffe darauf, dass wir sie unblutig loswerden, z.B. dem Schmitt oder anderen Schattenkontakten übergeben. Am besten ist es, garnicht erst Zeugen zu haben, weshalb ich Stealth der Brute-Force-Methode immer vorziehe. Auch Folter ist etwas unschön, Bluffen ist problemlos drin, aber sobald es blutig wird, naja. Ich bin der Meinung, dass jeder seinen Preis hat, bzw. dass man durch Köpfchen jeden überlisten kann. 13 – Cyberware: Die Augen und Ohren bekam ich mit 16. von meinem Eltern, auch wenn ich sie später etwas aufgerüstet habe. Augen hauptsächlich, weil das gerade 'In' war, Ohren, weil ich leichte Hörprobleme hatte. In der Schule hatte ich nämlich Leistungskurs Chemie und Elektronik und wollte Letzteres auch mal daheim testen. Also habe ich versucht die Lautsprechern unseres Trideo zu verbessern. Durch einen Glitsch hab ich dann die halbe Nachbarschaft beschallt und für 2 Tage nicht gehört. Die selben Boxen habe ich übrigens auch in meiner aktuellen Wohnung. Da habe ich ebenfalls mal die Soundsicherung entfernt, und wenn nötig ist das besser als jede Schallgranate. Nach dem Crash 2.o hab ich mir den Cerebral Booster einbauen lassen. Doc meinte, der würde auch die Schäden beheben, die ich bekam, als ich versuchte, meinen Vater auszuloggen. Nach den ersten paar Run, u.a. als ich die ersten paar Treffer abbekommen habe, habe ich angefangen für weitere Verbesserungen zu sparen. 3 Jahre später, 2068 hatte ich genug Geld für Orthoskin und den Muskelkram. Gab ne nette kleine Feier mit Doc und ein paar Freunden. 14 – Normales Leben: Normales Leben gibt es nicht, viele verschließen einfach nur die Augen, sind naiv und wollen nix sehen. Sie glauben dass, was die Kons und die Medien ihnen vorkauen. Die andere Hälfte der Gessellschaft besteht entweder aus Runnern wie mir oder unseren Auftraggebern. Ich versuche mich lieber mit Leuten zu umgeben, die zumindest teilweise mit den Schatten zu tun haben. Unter anderem, hat man mit Schmitts und den normalen Leuten das Problem, dass man denen nicht trauen kann, sowas drückt auf die Stimmung, wenn man mal gemütlich eine Rauchen will. 15 – Apltraum: Knietief im toxischen Schlamm stecken, um einen herum verrückte Komet-Kultiesten, die mit Magie immer und immer wieder angreifen. Ich schiesse auf Sie, doch jede Kugel prallt vor unsichtbaren Mauern vor ihnen ab. 16 – Sentimentales: Meine Ares Predator bekam ich zum 19.ten von meinem Vater. Es war damals eine der ersten Predator in ADL. Die Firma von meinem Vater hatte ein Sonderlizens von Ares, diese Waffen herzustellen zu dürfen. Papa hat eines der ersten Exemplare aus der Produktion für mich gekauft. Hab sie mit der Zeit soweit aufgewertet, dass Sie mit der aktuellen Ares-Reihe mithalten kann. Im Inneren ist sie aber immer noch meine Ares. 17 – Zukunft: Damals wollte ich natürlich erstmal in der Firma meiner Vater arbeiten, als Tester die neusten Waffen irgendwo in geheimen Trainingscentern benutzten dürfen. Heute würde ich natürlich immer noch gern, die mit den neusten Waffen herumhantieren dürfen. Aber mit viel Geld, einer wasserdichten SIN an einem Strand liegen, im Strandhaus eine kleine Waffensammlung bereit für Topaufträge, für die ich dann mit Privatflieger durch die ganze Welt reise. 18 – Äusseres: Wer auffällt, fällt auf. Sowas zieht Ärger und Kugeln an. Ich siehe mich eher mit einfachen Sachen an und versuche lieber größere Menschenmassen zu meiden. Kapuze und Sonnenbrille, alles in Grau bzw. Standarttönen gehalte, meine Sachen in einem einfachen Rucksack, damit ich hoffentlich in der Masse untergehe. Doc hab ich gebeten, alle Narben im Gesicht und an den Händen zu entfernen und ein Kurzhaarschneider daheim machen das übrige. Früher waren meine Cyberaugen mal neongrün, weil das damals in der Schule 'cool' war. Habe das später auf den Standard, mattes Silber geändert. 19 – Name: Bei meinem ersten Run, als ich noch kein Strassennamen, und habe mir einen Namen erstmal ausgedacht: „Axel Karm“. Donnerberg hat mir gesagt, dass Anfänger, die sich „Shadow“, „Killer“, oder so nennen, meist nie lange dabei sind. Ein Mangel an Seriosität, meine er. Ein Typ aus den UCAS, der für Doc mal ein paar nicht ganz koschere Medikamente nach Hamburg gebracht hat und kein bisschen Deutsch konnte , hat mich dann 'The Calm Boy' genannt, wegen 'Karm'. Gefällt mir eigentlich. „Axel, the Calm.“ 20 – Bekannte Orte: Geburtsort Hannover: Hier habe ich meine Kindheit verbracht. Wir lebten in der mittelständischen Gegend Nahe der Ausfahrt der EuroRoute 4.Hamburg: Lebe seit 2062 hier. Bis zum Crash 2.0 lebte ich mit meinem Vater in Stade. Danach bin ich von Ort zu Ort gezogen, immer aber in Hamburg. München: Kleiner Job, den mir Doc Brown zugeschoben hat. Ich und eine Zwergdame haben in 2 Wochen in einem kleinen Motel auf ein Paket mit Medikamente gewartet.

Story: When Tallway was a kid, he was very good in all language stuff. His faster came from Japan and his mother from south Texas so he grown up with at least two different languages around him. He started to study Linguistic in Texas, but because of some problems with his fellow students, he changed to Seatle. His parents never approved to the idea to go there and since then always try to find new reasons, why he should come back home. To manage the study without the financial aid of his parents he started to take a part time job here and there. Unfourtunalty, his last employer wasn't able to pay him. Since it was a flight school, the guy talked him into taking some lessons instead of taking money, he don't have. The employer told Tallway some stuff about his wife in Spain he needs to visit and so on and thats why he can't give Tallway his wage. In the end, Tallway learnd how to fly, but also end up with some little money problems. I found a small bank who gave him a little loan, so that wasn't a big deal. But after he finished his Diploma he found it really difficult to find a job as a Linguist and Troll somewhere in Seatle. Of course there may be some jobs for a Troll of his size in the shadows, but that was a direction, Tallway didn't want to go.
In the end, he met a professor from his old college, when he ask for a small job around the campus. He wasn't able to get him a job on campus but he called some friends from KE and suggested, that Tallway may take a look there.
And so Tallway joined KE. After a KE-Trainer discoverd his Adept Ability they offered him to train him also in this area. The trainer told him something about Chi and spiritual power flow, but Tallway never understand quit how this magic stuff really works. As far as he knows, most of his power are just there, with or without his doing. They also transferred Tallways debt by the small bank into his own KE account. They told him, that this way, KE can help him more with the organisation of his finacials. Tallway didn't care very much. Of course he knows, that by this KE knows every thing about his current finances. But for him, debt is debt, no matter where they are.

I also provide practical experience as a lawyer, if your group has some problems with the law. Background: Few month ago in New York, Conrad was a simple lawyer for a small company. His methods weren't always so legal, though. He usualy tries to check the fact for himself, talk with witnesses, sneaking scene of the crime. Normaly no big deal and it helped him many times in his cases, but his problem began when his a new client came to him. He was accused of theft, ie. he was said to have robbed his neighbors. As usual Conrad looked around in the neighborhood of his client, ask some locals and take a look at both apartments, from the neighbor and from his client. With his astral view he found a hidden compartment in his clients room, but unfortunatly triggerd a alarm before he could open the compartment completly. At the end, a policeman opend the the compartment and found at lot of money and some other stolen goods. To make it worse, his client was the son of a local politican. And so, after losing in the court of course, his boss suggested that Conrad moved out of town for a will, since the politican was really pissed and it wouldn't take long until he found out who triggered the alarm in the end. And so, Conrad find himself in a small law firm in Seatle. And he also found out, that he missed the thrill of a nice investigation. Right now, all he has to do is paper work, something he can do from anywhere. Personality: Conrad likes the thrill when traveling around in disguise or to imitate other people. He also made his need to sometime forge search warrants into a little hobby by copying simple art objects. In his job as a lawyer in the court he know how to influence people only by his first impression. Based on his usual success in talk himself out of trouble he hasn't much experience with a gun. Pure firepower is something only blunt and stupid people use. Nevertheless he is not that stupid to go around Seatle without a gun. Clother: Regular, he often wears T-Shirts with numbers like Pi or (i to the poer i) printed on them. He has orange backpack from Ares, whit the Ares-Logo overprint by a barcode-sticker. Height 1.05m | Weight 52kg | Age: 30years Total Karma: 31+13 +5 +4 Current Karma: 19 Background: Space started as small bookie in Atlantic City or better as the accountant for a local restaurant. His dad down in texas arranged and Space was good with numbers and so he had no problems for the first few years. Then the restaurant was bought by small company and Space got a new boss. He later found out that this company was just of cover for the Vorys. A few weeks later his new boss, his name was Kork, asked him if he want to earn a little bit extra or if he want's to get fired instead. (He also said something about some broken bones between the lines.) Kork was opening an illegal bookmaking with the restaurant as cover and since Space wouldn't got back to Texas or get some broken nose he toke the offer. For the next years everything was fine, Space even start to like the job, making some bets for himself. But then, at the (1,5 weeks befor the mission briefing), there was a big Urban Sprawl Game in Manhatten. Everything looks fine, the betting was made and the game start, but then someone hacked into the booking-server and change or delet all bets. After the game end the trouble starts, some people gathered in the restaurant and demanded their money, the restaurant cover was going to blow up and it got worse and worse. The restaurant account was also hacked and all legal income was also gone. Space was trying to find the matrix intruder but then someone in the restaurant start the shooting. Even Space who was hiding in the kitchen was shot, he still feels the pain in his left sholder. And in the end the whole build was burning. The current situation is that Kork blames Space for what happend specially since someone erased all of Space data during the fire, almost as if the hacker would help Space to escape. The local Vory chief, Paveloski on the other side didn't give much for this because Space didn't run and also Paveloski thinks more economical. He forces Space to pay the money loss from the bets and the fire and send him to Manhatten to find this Hacker who hacked into the booking-server. If Space manages to find this Hacker the Paveloski may find a way to calm Kork down, if not, Space will find himself even more enemys in the Vory. And so Space toke the next best train to Manhatten to start some investigations. The server for destroyed during the restaurant fire and so every matrix trace was lost for Space. His only clue is that it has someting to do with Urban Sprawl in Manhatten and therefor he start his search there. Fortunatly Space know a Fixer up there in Manhatten. He is a member of the Vory and when this guy came to Altantic City. he lost some money and wasn't able to pay his gambling debts from Kork. Space made a deal with both of them, he paid Kork and get a liability from Gerad (the Fixer) instead. After this Gerad sometimes had a little job for Space, usually some minor hacking stuff but nothing big so far. Space still had Gerad commcode and asked him to arrange a job in Manhatten for him, so Space can get some contacts there. Likes: Numbers. Space is very proud about his analytical and logical Skills and likes mathematical Problems. Sunny beaches with a ice cold drink in his hand. Space dreams from a life in Florida or somewhere there maybe even with his own island or so. Altough the pain in his shoulder vanished after a week he still likes the comfortable heat from a stimulance patch on the remaining scar. It also helps him to concentrate during his VR trips. (mild addiction) Dislikes: He also has some mixed feelings against the Vory. He has worked for them for some years, they paid well and he didn't forced him to do anything else than the accounting, but on the other side he realy dislikes the methods from Korks and his friends. Manhatten: Thinks went well in Manhatten, Space made some jobs for Gerad and finally found a hint to this mysterious Hacker from Atlantic City. Space found a commlink in an old warehouse, it was burned but Space managed to reconstruct some data connected to the attack on the restaurant in Atlantic City: timetables, some destription about the firewall from the restaurant server, some old archives files, Space recognized from his job as accounter at that place, etc. and a booking to a flight to Seatle. Space also found a name, but the comm was too damaged, so he only got: "Br$%g@% &o#@§a, Br--g-- -o---a- Space descided to go to Seatle and start looking there directly. Background: Background: D'jed was born and lived in northern Seatle fro almost all his live. Poor family, violent neighborhood and in the end he ended up in one of the street gangs very early. Usualy staying behind and dealing with surveillanc cameras and this stuff when his gang is in a fight with some other gangers or when they work as enforcers or thieves. Not much a heroic and adventures life but D'jed never know something else. Of course he dreamed about making big money and start living in a higher lifestyle, but he never find the right time to break up with his gang friends and move into the real shadow biz. He definitly has a problem with his self-confidence. That he is a Technomancer didn't make it better. His gang was also into the hype hunting Technomancers but since D'jed always had good quality hacking gear with him they never suspect anything. His current situation is a little more complex and confusing. On night after his gang was hired to steal some data from an old warehouse D'jed woke up in a hospital. He can't remember the night after they left the warehouse and also the Doctor tells him, that almost two weeks are gone since then. Quit even more shooking points, he wasn't in Seatle anymore and when he was unconscious the hospital gave him a SIN. Both things he tried to avoid. Now he is in Honululu, without any of his gear, only wearing some hospital clothes, and tries to find out what happend at that night. He can't reach his gang or his fixer in Seatle somehow and don't know if he should go back or not. He need info but as far as nobody knows him in this streets he can't trust anybody and also he don't thing that anybody will help a nobody. He need some money and some street rep., former a little more quicker so he can pay back his money to this slimy moneylender. He didn't like to be in debt with this guy, but after leaving the hospital without any money, he at least need some clothes, a commlink and enough money left to pay for a coffin hotel and something to eat. Fortunatly he still knows some chat rooms where usually some johnsons hang around, maybe he find a well-paid run to solve both his money and his street rep. problems. Hey, he even would take a not-well-paid run just to find out what happen in Seatle.
Dislikes: Heat and humid weather, which reminds him of the ocean and sea voyages, which he dislikes because he gets seasick very easily. A seconds thing he dislikes are insects, bees of course, but also any other insect. Likes: The Matrix of course, but specially nodes with medival looks. He also has some accounts in the MMORPG 'Magus 2070' and 'DarkAge 3'. Two other things he likes are classic medival Fantasy-Film and Medival Rock.
Hobby's: Icon-Moding and Blogging in Conspirisy Theory Forums, current topic are e.g. "War in Amazonia, the next Geistertanz", "Dunkelzahn still alive" (a never ending story), "AI's in Renraku", "the Mars colony is a lie". He has serveral false acounts in different forums and had a big collection of avatars on his now stolen commlink.

Browse (6): via Sprite Bond Story: D'jed found a Data-Sprite when he surfed through the Seatle Mainlibary in the Matrix. Without any reason he started following D'jed and demand search querrys. Since then the Spirit, D'jed call him Ferret, is always there when D'jed goes into the Matrix, helping him to search and find data. Sometime Ferret wants to search around for anything and moving around D'jed until he gives him a new querry to hunt for.
--Stream: Awakening Stream Concept: The Crash 2.o was the same as the Awakening. After that event the astral plane and the mundane plain were connected. Magicans and Adepts were able to move into the astral plain and take get their power from there. The Crash 2.o opend another connection to a meta plane, through the matrix. Like awakened people who can use their astral perception, Technomancer are able to the the astral plain through the matrix perception. Since that plain is some no mortal beeing can understand, that what a persons see through their perception can differ very much. Like magicians can call spirits which will be seen by mundane people as normal natural forces, Technomancer can call sprites, powerfull matrix spirits, which well too be seen als normal programms for the mundane matrix user. The same holds with spells. Whereas mundane people us primitve weapons the awakened take power from the astral plain by canalizing the power through their bodys into the normal plain. It's the same for Technomancer in the Matrix, while normal user have simple programms a Technomancer canalizes the power of the astral plain through his body into the matrix and creates spells. Introduction for others: Name: Rapca Profession: Hacker background: Was a department manager from Renraku until he had a car accident and his howl body was paralyised. He was unconscious during the Crash 2.o and when he wake up, he noted that Renraku be cause they lost every data about him used this opportunity to gave his job to someone else, sell his properties and delete his Renraku credit accounts. Since he can't use his body he can put all his mental power into work as a data miner and hacker.
Renraku Automated Policy Check Agent [Rapca] was a agent on a Renraku Server in Seattle. Its job was to find documents which contradict to the corporate policy. Therefore it browse through the archives of the offices, the commlinks and workspaces of the employees, their home nodes and so on and analyse their data. If it find minor issues, it edit the documents appropriately and in case of major problems report the responsable employee to his supervisor. When the Crash 2.o happend, he was looking into the commlink of an junor department manager, who feld in coma during an accident. During the Crash it was trapped and disrupted inside the head commlink of this patient. The disruption damaged some subroutines, which order him to report back to the main server and so the Agent repeated its orders again and again inside the commlink. The final x-factor was, when parts the patient's consciousness reappeared for few short flashes. Producing uncontrolled commands in the commlink.
After the AI became conscious it didn't know what to do, so it staid inside the commlink and using the feads of the surveillance cameras to observe the hospital. Since the all patient's data was lost during the crash nobody had information about the comatose. Also because his supervised doctor unfortunatly died in a fire few days before and so nobody really know who the patient was. Only that he belonged to Renraku somehow. Renraku paid for a few more weeks until it declared, that they don't know the patient (easy way to save a little bit of money).
The AI, given hisselft the name Rapca, understand the need for a home node and also didn't want to leave the commlink of the patient. So, to get some money he toke the data in the commlink and tried to sell it. With a little research he found a fitting competitor to whom Rapca made contact. Since he wasn't sure, how much the data was worth. He toke the first offer from an department manager from the rival corporation.
To use the money, the AI also get two false ID's one to impersonate as the comatose Patient for his shadow activities and another one to impersonate as a far away cousin who cares about the patient and send frequently money to the hospital to keep the medical and technical equipment up-to-date. The brother also rented a space in a drone depot. So far the AI didn't need the drone or his 'travel'-commlink but it was good to be prepeared.

While Space was looking around the main room he noticed a gun, taped under the table. When he checks the pistol over, he feels a sharp prick into his hand. A welt swells up on his palm and suddenly he receives a message to his PAN: "Hello. You have found one of the presents I have left around Seattle. You have just been injected with an experimental nanite which are sending this message to your PAN. They are undetectable and contain a very deadly chemical. You have a week to kill someone with this handgun while it's smartlink is turned on. When the smatlink detects the kill the nanites will render the chemical inside them neutral. If you do not succeed then the nanites will degrade in a week, releasing the chemical into you. Tell No One, I will know. God Speed.."
Space's first thought was: 'What the #####!' He almost let the gun fall through his hand, but manages to fetch it, before it hits the table. Silk was still next room. Space doesn't think that this is a set up by her or Noise, let the turret was a good proof for that. 'Okay, calm down and use your brain, idiot. One week, seven days, 168 hours, 10080 minutes, 604800 seconds. No need to do something stupid, like follow the orders from a gun.' Space slowly breaths in and out and move on with his search through the safe house. No need to make the others suspicious. 'Okay Space, us your analytical brain: 0) Is the message true? 1) Who placed the gun? 2) What is this gun? 3) Are there any loophole in this message? Maybe not in this order, but it's a start.' When Space found the building node, he sits down on one of the beds and trace the message back to its origin. Unfortunately, the message came directly from him, more specific: his body. When Space scans for any radio signal from those nanites, he finds nothing, but this doesn't count much, since the message said that the nanites were undetectable. He take a closer look at the pistol, its smartlink system and the bullets. Although, the weapon was new, the smartlink system was even newer. Someone had added it recently, as well as some changes at the firing mechanism. He can't tell what exactly, so he make some pictures to look through the matrix later. The bullets also were interesting, Space recognizes some modifications at the bullet to. He isn't quite sure, but it seems that biomonitors where added to them. 'Does the bullets tell the nanites, that the person, who is hit, dies?' Space make a note to also look that up in the matrix later. Before Silk comes around and starts asking questions, what he's doing, he gets back on his feet and continue the search through the house. When Space found out, that the hidden, encrypted data from the building node is actually a camera footage, he smiles inwardly. Maybe the person, who taped this gun under the table has left its face on that footage. Although, he isn't sure, Space has the first assumption that whoever changed the turret, might also hide the evil gun under the table. After Space decrypts the footage and before he shows it to Silk&Noise, he sends his Agent to search 'Nanites loaded with deadly poison, release poison after 1 week, are undetectable' with optional search parameters: Nanites connected to/triggered by smartlink system' and 'nanites with internal kill-recognition based on smartlink system'. His agent starts moving through the different search- and info- networks and compiling data, so Space can read through them later. Then Space take a look at the footage by himself and keep it running, even after all the mercs had left the safe house in the camera feed. He decides to cut the footage here, and share only the the first part with the team. After all, he only knows them for not even an hour (and additionally didn't get paid yet et all). The recording shows, after the house empties a few hours later, a blur entering the house and ducking under the table. It looks to be either a chameleon suit or spell. Space stops the footage several times to check, analyze the movements of this blur more closely. Maybe he can see some parts of the person under the suit or spell, when it moves around. Space also notices, that the blur stops right after it opens the door and also in the middle of the main room, as if he looks around. 'Hmm, it stops in front of the turret, so most likely it is either surprised, that the turret is there or it isn't sure that the turret won't shot. And when it stops at the main room, does that mean, the person look at the room for the first time and search for a good place for the gun?' With this, Space rejects the idea, that someone of the mercs or this Rangly was responsible for this gun. Unfortunalty, the area around the safe house isn't like high-end regions he know from Manhattan. Space isn't able to find a single camera in this area, except those in the safe house. In other way, he has no possible way to follow the blur by going from street camera to street camera. It seems to be a dead end. While Space works on those flash frames, which seems to take him quit some time, he, in addition, also start his own data search about combination of biomonitors and bullets. He notices, that his agent has found quite a amount of data, but Space doesn't have the time to go through all files, documents, video clips and what ever the agent found for him. His own data search tells him that the idea of combining biomonitors and bullets isn't a new concept but also isn't readably sold themselves. It takes someone to buy the rounds and add the sensor. Also the trigger system to 'arm' the biomonitor in the bullet and connect it to the smartlink system, seems to be quit complicated. 'So I'm looking for someone with armorer skill...' When the discussion in the living room inside of Habu comes to this hacker from china, Space's first though is, that this Ex-triad might has something to do with this evil gun. Again, some hacker or technomancer who destroys his life (this time not only metaphorical). Space went to Seattle to find the technomancer/hacker who hacked and destroyed the restaurant node back at his old home and right at the very first day here, that happens. A restaurant who was managed by a Vory and an ex triad hacker Coincident? Space does think so. But he moves this idea up to later, while the discussion moves on and also his agent inform him, that he has finished his data search. When Space finally sits down in the coach, after he finished the holoprojector presentation and all the discussion with Silk and the other, he has some time to go through all the data, his agent found him. With this, Space manages to get an idea, who he can trick those nanobots. But he need some gear for that, so he send a message to his fixer Gerad back in Manhattan. Space noticed before that in the first message from this nanites, that this evil gun was one of many presents. To modify many different guns would be to complicated, since you would need to change your blueprints for every new gun type, use other settings and so one. Hence, it is more likely that these other 'presents' also are all 'Zastava CZ49's. A quick data search tells Space, that this gun was produced by a european company, which went bankrupt or something like that during the Crash. Maybe this was Space's way to find this person under the blur (the hacker Cho?). "Hola Gerad,
remember those times back at Manhattan, when I did all these small hacker jobs for you, I'm maybe into something bigger now, evil stuff. I need a few new toys and also a little info. A silencer for heavy pistols, a hardware tool kit, a 10-clip full of Ex-Explosive Rounds, a HD-screen, small but powerful, around the size of a data chip.
And now the tricky part, an info: Do you know 'Zastava CZ49'? It's a european weapon, heavy pistols. I need to know if someone bought a bunch of them recently around Seattle. Maybe by someone who knows also stuff about nanobots and armory. But keep it quite! I will getting my money for this job in a couple of hours, 1k min. but I assume it will be more like 6k or so, but I send you my last 100 bugs right know, see what you can do and I pay you the rest tomorrow or so. Space"A few seconds later, Space receives a reply from Gerad: "All right space, I'll see what I can do.“
And another couple of hours later, Space notice the following message at his PAN:
"The Hardware kits easy, on the way to you as soon as you pay: 575¥. I'll have a Silencer for you in 2 days: 230¥, The screen will be 2 days and 144¥. The Ex-Ex rounds are a bit of a problem, KE's cracking down on them hard. Hey, hey don't give me that look, I can get them, it'll just be hard: 36 Hours and 178¥ for One clip with 10 rounds." 8 Hours later Gerad will get back to you on the info, "I've asked every fence and dealer I know, all I can ind out is they were wiped off the matrix in the crash, no one can trace them since."But before even the second message appears, Space finds out something else. It didn't thought that this is possible, but it seems that those nanits also have internal sniffer programs. Because, when he sends his message to Gerad, he checks for outgoing/unusual signals and actually fetch something. Space is able to fetched a short data burst coming from the nanits in his body, a short time after he had send that shopping list do Gerad. 'These ##### little bastard, the message didn't lie about the ''I will know if you tell anybody''-part. Drek, drek drek.' At least he has a frequency now and also, since he now knows what to look for, he notices a periodic hourly pulse, most likely some kind of remote control from his friend the blurry person. Hence, jamming was no option anymore and Space makes also a personal note to stay away from dead zones without any matrix connection. Even worse, these data burst are too short to trace them probably, a strong edit program has to shrink the data somehow, so that all those matrix protocol fit into this tiny time period. Space repeat this scenario again, by sending a message from his main commlink to his second one. It turns out, that this data burst only show up, when the message contains code words, like gun, nanobots or nanites. Space makes another personal note, to be more carefully, what he writes in his messages. On the other side, now that he has their frequency, Space trys to analyze those nanobots, but just after a few seconds he realizes that their firewall and analyze is to high, even for his top spoof and exploit programs. Another dead end, here. When he finally manages to leave the group, he starts his plan to get ride of those nanobots, and maybe even to find the blurry person. A few hours later, after Space commlink tells him about the first part of the money from the job, so he sends the payment to Gerad. The first two day's he looked for a location in Redmond or Puyallup, empty apartment building with view down an area where beggar usually meet, e.g. building under a bridge. Of course, Space scans the apartment for any hidden cameras and (electronical) bugs, put this area of Seattle is even worth than that around the safe house, hence no high-end area and no cameras. Space don't want to kill anyone, but if he have to choose between himself and a SINles beggar, he is realistic. He also looks for a poor hospital with low security (and therefore also a high death rate). He uses the next days until the equipment from Gerad comes to his regular address, to prob into the hospital (admin account), waiting for medical alarms and copy the biomonitor signals which were send, when someone dies. He also visit the hospital once, for the probing and also also to buy some injections. Space take some blood samples and put them into a cooling box in another part of his empty apartment in Redmond/Puyallup, far away, so that the smartlink signal from the evil weapon won't reach it. He then take a look at the biomonitor data from the dead people, change the frequency of his second commlink to that of the biomonitors and the smartlink of the evil gun (if necessary he fire a shoot to get the frequency, after he got the silencer from Gerad) and look for some video of a person shot, with the sample metatype, height and so on. (The shadowrun or cop tridseries should be full of those clips). Space also was pretty sure, that everything the data burst from the nanobots are to short, to actually send more than just a few code words or coordinates. He also starts to look for some way to improve his programs, he hasn't the enough money to buy original power-programs, but he knows some hidden PTP networks where he can get some cracked versions. He only need some more cash. He surfing around some old websides for used programs to find a buyer for his old originals. Finally, he found an Icon, who was willing to buy at least one of them. Next time I really should ask Gerad to do this selling stuff too. After some quick exploit-commands, he found out that it was just a little wannabe hacker somewhere in Hamburg, not even 20 years old. I toke Space over 4 hours talking to convince this little fly of the value of the program and the time differents didn't make his job easier. Space also found the right piracy group with the programs he wanted to download, after a few days. When Space got the bullets, he filled on clip with Ex-Explosive Rounds and those biomonitor rounds likewise, so if he has to shot, the first bullet will be with a Biomonitor and the second will kill the poor bastard for sure. Space was building a small slide, so that he can move and remove the screen in front of the evil gun, when Andromeda called him: >Hey Space, do you have a good place to get some Programs. Need some high level ones, so my normal source is out of question. Have you someone you could recommend?<Andromeda can hear the sound of a soldering in the background. Hmm,as it happens, I was upgrading some of my programs too,... *brizzz* .... Stealth, Exploit and the old Attack software, I can sell you the originals, if you want. >Stealth and exploit sounds fantastic, but i will not need the attack, cyber combat is not my thing. Greetings and which me luck for today, I will make a little life-&-death experiment." Around the third day he should be ready to test the gun. In case something went wrong, Space checks that some poor hobo is sitting outside in some corner of a bridge pier. He is really sorry for him, and hopes, that this will work. Space harden himself (emotional), puts the silencer and the screen onto the evil gun, checks his commlink settings. Space had covered the smartlink camera with a towel so the switch from black towel to black screen will be unnoticed by the smartgun system. Then he start the experiment: Space shot through the open window into the sky (to make sure, the real biomonitor signal from the bullet reach the evil gun. Right when the bullet is through the window, his second commlink sends the other biomonitor signal and meanwhile the screen shows the movie clip. The small 'flop' from the silencer fades and Space doesn't drop dead nor feel wired, like he starts to die. No problems to breath, no a pain near the heart or anything else. A good sign. Hence. Space start part two of the experiment and sends a prepared message to the second commlink: "Still nothing about those european gun and the nanite turrets" He scans for the frequency, but the nanobots in his blood don't send the usually data burst. Space let himself fall down onto the old mattress, which is the only piece of furniture, except some old wooden boxes, where he had eaten his food the last few days. Really happy, that his trick seems to work, he relaxes and just stars to the ceiling for the next few minutes. After that, he goes to the next room, where his blood samples are inside the cooling box and take a look at seems. Space don't think that he can see those nanites with his bare eyes, but maybe with the enhancements of his contact lenses (Vision Enhancement 3) the broken nanites while dissolve and may change the color of the blood. Although he placed the box so that the smartlink signal shouldn't reached them. Of course, he can't see those nanobots. But Space isn't finish with the experiment yet. He puts his commlink right next to a blood sample and send the message from the experiment again, to see if those nanobots are still alive. But, the nanites don't pulse from the message 'Hmm, may be the blurry person has also increased the signal rating from the smartlink so that the kill signal even reached those nanobots in this box. Again a dead end, but now, Space doesn't know where to look next. Space continuously checks the next few days, if the nanobots react anyhow to some of his messages, even putting the gun's name into the message. But no data burst. Space even risk to moves back to his normal apartment room (specially because he can take a shower there). Furthermore, Space visit the hospital, he has hacked a few days ago. He puts an appointment between him and one of the doctors into their system with a note: 'important' and ask for a blood analysis. The blood result comes back negative, no nanobots or poison in his blood stream. He had some time left before so Space browse through the piracy network, reading some forum posts and joined some chat rooms about the newest firewall updates and their newest weakspots. Space makes some notes and also marks a few lines of his new exploit programs for patching, should save him some time later. On sunday afternoon, when his week starts to running out, Space isn't able to focus very much on the forums anymore, so he moves to the nexus, starting his newly downloaded agent for the defence, and worked a couple of hours at sculping the nexus VR, to relax a little bit, though after he finished, he starts to getting nervous. It was time that he moves to the empty building in Redmond. Space trusts his commlink and the hospital data and although, he isn't a killer (if he don't need to be one). Nevertheless, on sunday night (7*24 hours after the injection, Space sits in the empty apartment again and aims for one of the homeless under the bridge for a couple of hours. He has pulled some old hangings in front of him, and put out the light. While he waits he scans for any suspicious signal from his body, electronical and physical. Ready (and a little bit frighten) to make the shot. The weapon is equiped with silencer, and every second bullet is one of the explosive ones. Hours passes, minutes, seconds. Space counts them all, while sweat trickles down from his head. Even his gun, whose handle Space has wrapped with rubber based tape, starts to feel wet in his hand. At the end, he has to clean his face and the gun every few minutes with a cloth from the kitchen, so he won't mess up the shot, just in case. When exactly 7 days passes, nothing happens. 7 days and one second, 7 days and two seconds, Space forget to count and wait. When he finally is able to take a look to his commwatch, its 7 days, 1 hours, 6 minutes and 23 seconds after this bloody injection at the safe house. Slowly Space puts the weapon down, lays it into the cooling box, he brought with him and on the other side, take a cool bottle of vodka from it. Space has removed everything from this room connected to him, yesterday and the only think left is a wooden box on which he has sit all this day and the cooling box. He manages to get home, but after that he only remembers the bottle of vodka and how he wakes up in the bathroom of his apartment. Later the Monday, hours after when Space might have died, he reseives the following message from the hospital: " Sir, we have the results of your Blood test. Everything seems fine, we were worried when we noticed some Nova Scorpion Venom but it seems you''ve already been treated for it. I guess you'll need to be careful next time you visit a subtropical desert." The nurse giggles and hangs up. When Space was awake enough to, bloody hangover, he makes, almost automatical a data search for this Nova Scorpion. Maybe this is his way to find the blury person, but after some minutes he only found the common knowledge, that their venom is very deadly and that some of the bigger corps farm them here and there as another security measure. Now that he knows, that the nanites or gone for sure, the only thing left is to change some of his codes and the access ID's from his two commlinks. Space remembers, that he probably have to do the same later for the safe house, but this is something that can wait, until he has another good wake-up soycaf. The coffee helps to remind him of something else; there were still some Vory waiting for their money. Space know, Paveloski didn't like to wait, not that bad as Kork, but he was still a Vory chief, so Space attach the most of the cash he has from the job to a message and send it back at Atlantic City. “A small amout of money for the debt and I also can tell you that I'm still working on the case. I may found the culprit: ex-triad and top hacker, full of dealta ware. Will working on it. Space”As usually, Space didn't get any answer, but he was glad about it. Around midday, Space remembered the evil gun in the cooling box. So, what to do with you? Space wounders as he take the gun out of the box. He has checked it several times for any hidden tag and was sure that this gun don't call back at the blury one anymore and Space also want to keep it as a memory. On the other side, he don't trust the hand grip and also don't like to have to many guns in his house. Space had still some money left to let an armorer change the grip, but he had an even better idea: "Hi Andromea, Space here. Live is great, don't you think. I found your program and may a hint on the drone blueprint you were looking for. In return, in was hoping you can help me to replace a hand grip of my gun and replace it with a more personalized grip? Hope you had a save week, Space"A few seconds later, Space was on his way to the Barrens to get some material for the new hand grip. To find a plan wasn't a problem for Space at all and thanks to Gerad, he knows where to find an arms dealer. He called Andromeda and arranged a meeting with her a few corners away. When Habu stopped next to Space, he entered the workshop and talked to her about the program and blueprint. Hiho, how as your week?Here are your programs, on the last chip is also a link to a guy who has some blueprints for drones. He wants 200$ for it, a little bit overcharge, if you ask me, but hey, he is the only one I found so far with the right plans. Andromeda and Space start to work on the gun and are almost finished with the new grip, while talking about drones and their autosoft, when ....

First he got into the isrealean Army for 4 years. There, he found his way to the Mossad. After 3 years in a training camp near Be'er Sheva. In the next 2 years he work as a minor ranked agent, mostly as guard or security personal. For the last 5 years he was promoted to international missions. Normaly as a face and middleman for the Mossad operations. During his last mission, destruction of an islamist drug lab in Haifa, almost all of his partners where killed. Mossad assumed a mole and since some major evidence pointed into Davids direction, he was removed from his position. Due to some other, smaller insubordinations and minor troubles in/with his department, the head of Mossad planed an experimental ASIST program for David. 'To make better agents', they wrote in their report. But David got notion of it and, through some heavy bribery, he managed to remove his name from the order and was official eviction instead. Bug City: He was 16 and was still in the orphanage. He only heared of it from the old radio in the dinning hall. Appearance: David has west-european lineaments, black hair and green cyber-eyes. He is a little smaller than the average elf, around the highst of a normal human. But he still has the fine body structer of his race. In first years in the Mossad, he learnd to make his face a moveless mask. These days, he has a smirk on his face, knowing that, these days, a smile confuses his opponent more than a hard-ass, plasteel face. He tries to stick to his words, since reputation is everything but also knows that sometimes things have to be left behind, for the greater good.
