The concept is of a Mage who grew up as a small-time criminal, when he realised he had magic power he started to hone them in a way they could help in his everyday Stealing, searching for, letting someone's memory slip, ll in all even a non-lethal attack spell came in handy.

His small gang grew in a influential crime organisation, thanks to his mind tricks, but the leader got an idea that the mind tricks could be used against him so he wanted to get rid of Viking, then there was just the running hiding part left, until this faithful day.

Full backstory after putting the finishing touches on the Char.

Viking is207 cm Long average built elf. His Dark, semi-long hair and 3 earrings in the right ear that work as foci would not necessary point to his magical nature. A symbol on the forehead, mostly representing a rune, but not a tattoo, changes often to fool some low level bounty hunters.


Born in Riga. Grow up in the Baltic region, mostly Latvia, in a mixed race, nationality Archeologist family. Mother – a UCAS Elf from Seattle. Father – Japanese Human. Lost both parents at the age of 12 in a magical trap in a ruins of an Old Norse Ritual Cave.

Runaway from foster parents and joined a small gang. To get by he got involved in crime, at first just as the watcher, guard. At the age of 14 tried to start pick pockets, but failed miserably. Just a lucky break left him Capable to live on. While pickpocketing some peculiar item from a dark looking character in Market district in Riga. This might have been one of the worst life choices he ever made, at least one of the top worst ever. The man a mage, the object a foci, do the math. Viking got luck the curse the Mage threw at him got only his left arm. He lost the use of this arm for almost 10 years only recently he got the curse removed.

His Criminal career was a unsuccessful one, as a cripple he could not do much and but still he tried to help his Gang. You could say it ended better then it could, that is not good at all, just in a bad way that opened a lot of doors for him. At the Age of 16 he got convicted on forced entry and theft charges. His gang members did leave him while fleeing and a one armed boy was not able to get over the fence the others got away.

When going to jail he was sent to the Awakened one. This was the first time he realized that he had some magical powers. In the Jail He got together With a guy from the Russian mafia. Little he knew that his whole life would revolve round this group for the next few years.

The promise of helping him remove his curse kept him working and the Mafia did provide him with a basic mage support/interrogator skillset. In his Days he never had to do wetwork, never had to leave the safe house, just use his magic of to manipulate other minds. Viking used his time to work up his magic skill to new hights in hopes to lift his curse himself. This concentration on his Magical abilities took a toll on his physical strength.

When Viking Turned 21 he had lost hope in the Mafias promise and started to look for a solutions on his own. This was not kindly taken by his superiors, mostly because they believed he had used his powers on them, soon they where in all out disagreement and then one faithful day Viking decided to leave.

Viking did some small jobs in Germany, France the last 2 years, but never stayed in one place, never got any trusted connections. In this time he found a specialist in this type of curses in Japan, Neo-Tokyo and had worked up some funds to get there and hopefully get it removed, but when the time came he was a bit short, so he still owns the Mage 15k with a 50% pre month increase.

Now Viking has to find work and Fast, or the mage will curse him again, but this time most likely not only his arm.
