He knows they are always in this area - the port is a very good snooping place, filled with people looking for transportation. He disassembles his rifle and hides it, then goes after Tully. He waits until he gets to the corner and then walks up to him (with all augmentations activated) and wraps his arm around his shoulder, like an old friend, squeezing his neck a little with a friendly armlock.
Charles, pal, how have you been? - he says somewhat loudly - We haven't seen each other in ages! - then in a low voice - That's a shock glove a few inches from your eye. Act friendly or I'll burn it out!

P-T could see Tully retreat into the building. It was a non descript office building, holding several companies. One of the bodyguards stayed at the door, the others went inside with Tully. After a few moments it seems, normal customer traffic continued in said building.

P-T decides it's not worth it to try to break into an unknown building with unknown number of Tangos and Civvies inside. Such would be a work of an amateur, without backup or a decent plan. He was a sniper, not an assault team. Let's just wait for the analysis from the Company, about the oriental chick and the whole discussion. He recommends a tag on the building, though and a spy drone on Tully, when he exits the building.

Despite enjoying this feline vixen's banter, Dakota knew they had to get on with the job. He had no idea what V and PT were up to, or even where they were, but the team needed to get together and iron out some concrete plans or they could all kiss this job goodbye.

"Neko," Dakota said, suddenly taking on a serious air. "We're going to have to get acquainted while we move. We've got only a couple of days to complete this job and there's still two other chummers who'll want to meet you."

With that, Dakota led the girl out of the restaurant - but not without snagging some edibles. "Do you have wheels? Or do we need a cab?" he asked Neko as she joined him outside.

Neko nods in response to that and simply follows looking more serious then she was , when asked about transport however she does giggle slightly "Will need to be a cab, for some strange reason using my own wheels tends to attract attention from people wondering if I am able to use them"

Dakota stepped out to the sidewalk with Neko beside. He positioned them between two parked vehicles with enough space between for a cabbie to easily access the curb. Subvocalizing, he instructed his PAN's agent program, Maxx, to hail the first available taxi within range. Confident that Maxx would handle the task efficiently, Dakota then assigned Maxx a secondary task; to contact V and PT, find out their current status, and inform them that he and Neko were on their way to the museum to recon the mission. This done, Dakota said to Neko, "I want us to take the public tour of the museum. We'll have a better idea of what we're up against once we have the layout and security measures to go on. Is there anything you need before going there?"

When the cab pulled to the curb, Dakota circled around to the street side, lighting a smoke as he went. Checking the traffic before opening the rear door, he got in and pulled the door closed behind him.
"To the archaeological museum, and an extra ¥10 if you step on it."

Neko had been pretty quiet so far, making Dakota wonder what was on the girl's mind. 'Not my biz,' he thought silently, inhaling deeply and puffing the smoke toward the slitted window on his side. He didn't know if Neko disdained cigarette smoke, but it was tactful to avoid unnecessary rudeness, especially with a new teammate.

He left the girl to her own musings, confident that she'd break the silence if and when she felt it appropriate.

The cab drives you through the town. It takes a bit. (During which you can either have conversation or stay silent. ) But finally you arrive at the pier where the boat to the museums island departs from.

It is a rather small pier. The boat waiting for a few more passengers. The entrance fee is already included in the ticket price.

Dakota approached the ticket booth and asked for two. As the cashier handed him his tickets, he glanced over at Neko and said, "I'll get it this time, but you owe me one."

With that he headed for the boat, taking a seat close to the side so he could watch the water as they made for the island.
Dakota was fascinated by large bodies of water and the creatures that dwelled beneath their surface. Though his fondest pasttime was delving beneath the land, exploring the caves and caverns of the subterranean realm, the deeps of lake and ocean also held their own mysteries. 'Some day,' he mused, 'I'll delve the murky depths, but not today.'

As the boat finally cast off its moorings and pulled away from the dock, Dakota felt a rise of anticipation within. A grin spread his face at the sound of the waves lapping at the sides of the boat, the gulls screeching overhead as they hovered above the passengers, hoping for a morsel to be tossed up to them, and the wind against his face, tossing his hair to and fro. It was the unmistakable sense of adventure that he felt surrounding him, and he was captivated by its siren's call.

The automated ticket point booked the nuyen off Dakotas commlink and beemed over the codes that would work as tickets. With the codes, you have also received AR fliers for the museum, describing the exhibition.


The boat was rather small. Dakota and Nekosune shared it with a few backpack tourists, a small school class herded by two teachers and what seemed to be a body guard, and an elderly couple. One of the tourists stood next to Dakota, likewise letting the breeze go around his nose. An excited smile on his face.

The children, probably in junior high, wore school uniforms with the horizon emblem embedded on the cuffs and collars and were similarily excited. And rather loud.

Dakota silently took in the seemingly peaceful setting; the tourists watching excitedly as the boat ferried them to the museum island; the kids adding their noise to the sounds of the trip; the gentle sway of the boat as it was rocked by the swells. He could not decide if he envied them their blissful ignorance of the darker side of life. Was it enviable to be able to 'coast' through one's days believing in the trid-touted 'goodness' of life? Would he have been happier never having known the darker reality of the shadows?

Musing to himself, Dakota was taken by surprise when the vessel drifted to a halt. He had completely missed the approach to their destination.

'Next thing,' he chided himself, 'some street punk with a sharpened stick will mug you for your boots.'

Still, he paused before disembarking; watching the other passengers make their way onto the dock, their smiles and anticipatory stares contrasting his own guarded and wary expression. Suddenly overcome with an anger he did not understand, Dakota strode down the dock, oblivious to whether Neko came along, and headed up the road toward their destination.

As soon as they get within view of the boat, neko seems to be have differently, more, obviously childishly, complete with a quick hug when said about the ticket, the small catgirl playing up her apparent age for the public view so close to their destination. she starts chattering mostly about nothing, but that unending chatter most children can come up with, or a good imitation, doing her best to appear a pre-teen happy to be going somewhere.
She even talks to a few of the children, specifically asking what part of the museum they are goign to, and looking for any who look like would like to 'play' with some stuff while in there.

Nekosune:

The children Nekosune talked to were partially excited to 'get out' for once, on the other hand it's 'just a boring museum with boring stuff.'

(But please do a charisma+ etiquette roll to see how well you get along with them, and if they are up to mischief. )

When the ship lands, the children get herded together by the teachers, while the bodyguard observes the surrounding terrain.

Jagger:

The grass on the left and right of the paved walkway is green and fresh. The building can be seen in a small distance, roughly a hundred meters. AROWS project the moving images of celtic warriors and a merlin like druid on the walls, together with the headline: "The Celts. Great exhibition" In the real world, there are some banners, although not animated.

Nekosune just tries to basically, seem like a little kid, meeting someone who could play with on a boring trip, seeing if any of them had any plans to 'liven it up' at all, distracted by this, she does not really pay much attention to any of her currently active forms. She does keep a sharp eye around her though, trying to make sure no wary child guardians are goign to shoo her away.

The kids seem to like her well enough, talking about the boat trip and how the teachers are all on edge because they're outside of the Cons residential area. One boy especially seems to be interested in some mischief together with such a cool changeling like hers. But the teachers do indeed shoo him on. And Nekosune away from the group with a disgusted look on her face. She doesn't seem to like changelings at all.

The boy mouths 'meet you inside' before walking on.

What Nekosune also notices are the small cameras and sensors hidden in the grass, keeping the walkway under surveillance. There is also something buzzing on the edge of her electronic senses. But she can not make it out.

After making back to the boat, Valkyrie set to bring Sexy back to the island they first met, but sexy declined. Valkyrie was left to Wait for PT alone, and the Ape did not show, ... Took the money and made a escape? ... she thought to herself, then called her Guardian back to this realm "Go find PT, tell me if he is dead, if not kill him and report back!"
Stealing from the J, that was OK in her book, if you got away with it, but she had given him her personal cash, this had become personal and as such she would take care of it herself. She left the boat on automatic programmed to take her to the museum island, and then she closed her eyes, for a while she just layed there, thinking maybe she should take a nap first and Let the Viking do her biding, but then she decided to go herself as well. Aura tracking was not her field, but it was in the spirits blood, or at least it would be if he had blood.
Both of them set of to hunt down PT, while leaving a watcher to call Valkyrie if some one approaches her body in the astral or in meat.

Viking nods and turns, then he is gone. The watcher stays with Valkyries body.

Though he was struck by how easily the children took to Nekosune, Dakota was alarmed at the attention the changeling received from both children and teacher. The last thing they wanted was undue attention, especially from an authority figure who might later be inclined to make a point to recall a 'suspicious' person or persons. He made a mental note to mention this to the girl later.

At the moment, however, he had other matters to attend to; namely, coordinating with the rest of their team. Using encryption - an added feature he'd never regretted laying out the cred for - Dakota sent a message to PT and V:

"Arriving at museum island with hacker. What is your location and ETA to target location?"

He didn't know what the guys had been up to during the last few hours, but surely they had not jeopardized the mission in any way. Best case scenario would be that they were even now reconnoitering the museum's outer security measures, possibly even infiltrated the premises. Worst case would be that one or both had made off with the J's front money. If this was the case, Dakota had no sympathy for what would surely be a most violent end. Runners who tried to scam their employers this way soon discovered just how Johnsons protected their investments and their reputations. You didn't last long on the streets biting the hand that feeds.

Valkyrie returns to her body as Viking is still not able to find PT, she has nothing better to do as to go back to the main job.

On the way she summons 3 watchers and sends one back to keep an eye on the place where PT stash is, she will have to know if PT returns, she just has to know.

Neko just smiles to Dakota , Sending a message to him, noticing the worried look briefly cross his face, "Someone as rare as me, they are going to notice anyway, so I put myself in a shoebox for them, before I was random changeling skulking about, now I am that changling kid who was talking to the children, and going back to you, it looks like I am here with you, so now, i am 'obviously' on a trip with someone to a boring museum, is the one good thing about looking wlel, like this, My obviousness can be it's own camoflage if you play to expectations;"
