Made a new sheet, all the time i tried to change Kouryuu it felt like making a new Viking so I scraped that approach and made a new mage, hope you like her.

I am very sorry.

My internet connection got cut off very suddenly and surprisingly last Wednesday. And unfortunately, it won't be restored before at least a month. Maybe even two.

Of course I am working on it, but this is how the situation looks for now.

I apologize for all the delay. I hope you will be patient enough to wait for my return. And then we can start the play.

I'm currently using a friends internet access, but this is a one time thing.

By the way Kouryuu... I like redheads. Very Happy

Hell yeah, your idea sounded great

just the little fact that i am on travels trough France and will at best be online once a day, so please expect no daily posts until the october, but that does not mean i will not be there, just that i will not be there as much as i used to be.

Thanks Darkon, should be fun. You came close to nailing the name I had already chosen, but I liked your idea better.

I'm running him through the Character Concepts forum to get some tips on any useful tweaks from anyone who may have advice, so he should be ready to play whenever you are.

Ok, he's a bit under the standard 400 BP cap, but I think he's good to go for a starting runner. He's got a good archaeological knowledge base, gear and contacts. I'm sure I will have forgotten or overlooked something, but lack makes for some roleplaying hooks, yes?

Background
Dakota's parents knew early on that their only son was not destined to be like the other kids around the small, rural town of White's City, New Mexico. Instead of racking up high-scores on the tired video games down at the Burger Barn or hoverboarding past the shop-fronts along Main Street, Dakota could most often be found - if found at all - exploring the foothills and valleys that were the beginnings of the Rocky Mountains; especially the caverns. Since his first encounter with the 'realm of underground' quite by accident - a baseball had disappeared down what was first thought to be nothing but a gopher hole, but had turned out to be several hundred yards of rocky caverns after some initial digging - Dakota embarked upon what was to become his lifelong romance with all things buried underground or forgotten in ancient ruins. But although he would gladly have devoted all his time to the physical exploration of the underworld, he lacked the same devotion to furthering the knowledge base of archaeology in the interests of university scholars or society at large. Dakota cared only to explore solely for the sheer delight of personal discovery, which expanded into personal financial gain as he grew older and learned he could turn a sizeable buck selling artifacts on the black market.
Now, at 25, though mostly unknown among the popular 'diggers' and archaeologists, Dakota Jones still finds adventure running the shadows below.

You have a very nice character there. Approved.

One suggestion. For a person which is likely to be shoot at, some integrated body armour in the jacket, (and the hat) might be a good idea. And would fit the character I think.

I went back and forth about the armor issue - on one side he needs some protection from being shot at (as you noted), and on the other, I wanted him to have unrestricted movement for climbing, rappelling, etc. Perhaps a form-fitted half body armor?

Yes, I think that would be a good choice. If you have enough money left, I wouldn't mind including this into the jacket and also making the head kevlar fitted. A bit like a half helmet. Wink
