Such marriages in the past would not have been allowed by the Clan Heads, but past is long gone by the way side. His father is from Gonzales, La., his mother is from Tucson, Arizona. His parents were one of the first of the Roma to be born in 2011 in to Elves. He was born outside of Gonzales in 2041, and spent a large time growing up there, hanging out in the fish camps. He spent large amounts of time down in New Orleans growing up in his teenage years. He has 5 brothers and 3 sisters; he is second in birth order, with a older sister born before him. Both of his parents come from large families, so his parents have carried on the tradition fairly well, despite their Elven racial birth rates. His father is the more non traditional Roma, while is mother is fairly strict Roma. His mother is very strong Roma magician and his father is a mundane Chemical Engineer. All of his sisters, inherited their mothers talent for magic, all of his brothers are mundanes except one who is an Adept. Among his mother†s Machvaya Roma, cyberwear is marime(taboo), his father†s Romnichal Roma are more open minded, but still they have a limit to the amount of cyberwear they will tolerate before considering it marime. While he was growing up, he displayed a talent for speaking and talking a lot more than most Roma do. His mother†s family called him Chatterpie which the Magpie is called in Europe. He also likes shiny jewelry, objects and like the bird was very perceptive. So he changed some of the emphasis in pronouncing his “nickname� to MagPye. As he was growing up he found he was verbally agile and able to talk his way out of most things he had stepped into. But those situations a few as them might have been, that his words could not get him out of, he learned some skills in avoiding blows aimed at him. He also learned to use firearms. Bladed weapons and drive a wheeled vehicles from his father†s brother Teto. His Uncle Teto is/was a Runner from long way back. His mother did not care for Uncle Teto, but he seemed to like her, much to her ire. His Uncle Teto was able to show him the merits/advantages of cyberwear and the fairly new bioware, due to Uncle Teto had cyberwear and bioware. He tried to discuss it with his mother but she would have none of it, his father was not against it, but was more interested in peace in the family, so he said no also. His Uncle Teto liked to take MagPye with him on several of his meetings, using his agile verbal skills to increase the rewards for his efforts. Uncle Teto made sure his nephew received more than his share for using his verbal skills. His mother did not like his being around Uncle Teto a lot, but again she was interested in peace in the family, so she allowed it, but she made sure her feelings about it were known. His mother†s Machvaya Roma at one point needed someone to speak for them at a important meeting of the area Roma, she asked him to use his verbal skills for her Machvaya Roma. His mother†s Machvaya Roma speaker for such matters was very ill and unable to do the negotiation. He agreed with out hesitation, and was able to gain what his mother†s Machvaya Roma sought and then some, due the other Roma had underestimated his verbal skills and uses a speaker for them not as skilled as MagPye was. It was soon after this that, his Uncle Teto told him it was time to get the enhancements he had been saving for such a long time. Using his uncle†s connections with the cyberwear and bioware clinics, he got the enhancements he wanted. His uncle was not completely happy about the small amount of cyberwear he chose, but accepted the choices he made. Once he had healed and undergone rehab therapy, he returned back to his family. His father accepted it but was hesitant to show such in front of his mother. His mother was more than upset with MagPye. She was going to have him declared on outcast. He then had her and her Machvaya Roma to a private meeting. He reminded them of how he had spoken for them, and how they had benefited from it. His mother†s Roma hotly debated it over the course of hours. He spoke for himself and acquitted himself very well. In the end he was not declared outcast, but he had to under go a purification rite to rid himself of the violation of marime. His mother had a major part in purification rites. Of the rite of purification, he does not speak of it, nor does his mother; it is not spoken of at all. Once he had completed the rite of purification his mother acted like nothing had changed. But around her and her Roma, he as to keep his datajacks hid from their view. After this he and his Uncle Teto made some runs using his newly acquired enhancements. Both were very please with the results. He also moved into a fish camp near his parents, even though fishing was not something he had an interest in. During a venture into the darker parts of New Orleans, with his Uncle and some friends, he discovered that Blood Spirits really hate him. He and his uncle†s friends dealt with the blood spirits they had encountered. He later met with one of his maternal aunts about the blood spirits; she told him that it was trait that he had inherited from his mother†s family. He is 5†6†in height; 175 pounds in weight, his build would be described as wiry. Hair color is dark brown bordering on black. He has temples beginning to turn a bit grey. He wears his hair long down to between his shoulder blades, usually worn braided in a single braid, down his back. He has extremely large walrus mustache that is pure black, and exceptionally well groomed. His eye color is very dark brown looking black in the right light. His eyebrows are very thick and almost a unibrow. He has earrings of gold type of material in each ear lobe. Each earring is an ornate gold loop type of earring, about the size of a quarter new yen piece. He has three rings of his left hand, one platinum metal set with a black cabbed onyx on is ring finger, one of silver metal set with a large piece of bloodstone covering almost of that finger bone, and the last one gray metal set with a oval cabbed moss agate of very large size covering that finger bone area. On his right wrist is a brass colored metal wristband, with intertwining silver and gold wires in ivy pattern, three stones, the center one oval shaped cab of red jasper, on each side of the center stone are smaller oval cabs of carnelian. He wears black or dark brown pants/slacks of a loose fit. His pants are typically tucked into knee high Cossack boots of leather, with a fine black shine. Shirts are long sleeved with snap types of buttons, typically of white materials. The shirts are heavily embroidered, with bright colorful threads and floral patterns. He wears black hats of a fedora style, tilted to his left a bit. Hatbands around hats are typically a yellow silk material. He wears a slash type of belt made of intertwined leather strand like materials. He wears a brightly colored scarf around his neck, red being the usual color. His jackets are well fit with wide collars and well padded shoulders, tucking nicely at his waist. His jacket has embroidered with tan colored threads in two Roma cultural patterns. During casual encounters he has the Ares predator in a quick draw holster underneath his right shoulder; he carries his knife in his left boot. He will wear a jacket at times like this. For combat type of encounters his will carry his SMG slung on his left shoulder underneath his jacket, he will carry extra clips along the back side of his jacket bordering the bottom of the jacket. He as traveled around most of North America, working with and around the Roma of those locations. He has been able to smooth out affairs between the Roma and Gadje in some of those locations. He is wanderer and enjoys seeing places and things. Uncle Teto (Teetoe) is a blood relative from this father†s side of the Romnichal Roma family. In fact he is an uncle; Jacod†s father has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Uncle Teto is one of these. Uncle Teto is/was a Runner from the beginning, his reputation is very high, and so he has retired to a Fixer type of occupation for those of the Roma. Uncle Teto was able to get Jacod into the correct clinics to gain his enhancements. Uncle Teto had advised Jacod that his mother and her Roma would not be pleased. Jacod told him he would deal with it, Jacod has never told his Uncle Teto of what the Rite of Purification consisted up, nor has he asked. But Uncle Teto is impressed that he even got offered a chance to undergo the Rite of Purification. Cousin Bedo (Beudu) is a second cousin from his father†s Romnichal Roma family. Bedo performs the function of a fence for the Roma, but due to family connections, his ability to convert items, is better than would expect from a mere Roma. He is familiar with Jacod and respects Jacod†s ability to bargain hard and to make bargaining a challenge. To Bedo the negotiation/bargaining are an art, little used in today†s world. Some bargaining between Bedo and Jacod has taken places over the course of days. That Bedo much enjoys very much. To Bedo if you respect him, you must bargain as hard as you are able to. Sister Seuw (Sew) is a second aunt from his mother†s Machvaya Roma. She is a more traditional healer but due to real world needs she has become adept at using technological devices to augment her healing skills and spells. She is a source of healing for the Roma and sometimes the Gadje. She is aware of Jacod†s bioware and cyberwear, but she is also aware of that he had to undergo in the Rite of Purification. She was the main source of input attempting to make it impossible for him to successfully complete the Rite. But since he was able to complete it and she set the conditions, she has to accept it. She is also aware of Jacod†s gift of tongue, so she is very wary of getting into a discussion with him, that she may lose. Gadje Guy is a human Mr. Johnson that the Roma use to arrange work for those of the Roma. As he is not a Roma, trust is not a word one the Roma would use to describe him. He has a good reputation among the Roma runners, and his connections are better than average. He has worked with Jacod before and has bargained with Jacod, most of the time it did not come out the way he wanted though. Gadje Guy knows that Jacod is a Face and fair one at that, so he has many uses for a Mr. Johnson. He has enjoyed seeing others on the opposite side of the bargaining/negotiation with Jacod. Why did they choose to be a runner? Roma have been runners for centuries, so he is merely following in the tradition. What is the characters personality? (This is apart from just basic psyche. Are you an idealist, radical, pessimist, militant, aloof etc?) He is a bit of an optimist, but with a cynical touch thrown in. What skills does your character bring to this group? What makes them special? (Aside from whatever skills you have written down, is there anything else your character does well?) He is able to work with most races that he has encountered. Due what the Roma have endured over the centuries, racial bigotry has not stayed with them. He is a bit of issue resolver, he can if he as to use force to settle disputes. But in most cases he sees that as a failure of his skills of speaking. What are some things your character cannot do? (Get close to people, work well with others, handle money, think clearly under stress etc.) He can not do anything that would make the Roma, look bad to the eyes of the Gadje, nor will he reinforce the perceived stereotypes that the Gadje have of the Roma. He does not travel well on aircraft and boats make him violently ill even before leaving the pier/shore. What does your character hate and why? (crops? Elves? dragons?) He hates the Humanis Policlubs type of organizations like Alamo 2000 and their ilk. Do in part that those organizations have spewed their hatred against the Roma and Elves. Blood Mages and Blood Spirits he has a long history of dealing with harshly. What does your character love? He loves his extended family, his culture both Roma and Elven. What does your character respect? Those who fight against racial hatreds. How was your character educated? He was a product of the local Gonzales La school system, being a Roma it presented some issues in education, but none that he could not deal with. What is your characters moral code? Moral code, yes to a degree, he never hurts the Roma as a culture and as a people. No racial or cultural groups have a monopoly on bad/evil persons. Being one who has to deal with the Gadje on a more daily basis, he is more fluid in his morals in dealing with the Gadje Does your character have any political beliefs? Religious? Political more towards Roma rights, but not as extreme as wanting a Roma homeland. Religious he is not particular but he tries to follow the taboos of his people. What item(s) does your character treasure? (This is beyond monetary value. It could be a lucky coin, photograph, sock etc.) The brass colored wrist band on his right wrist, is from his Rite of Purification, it tells Roma that he has undergone and passed a right of Purification. The rings on his left hand have a story relating to his dealing with some of the Roma, and the services he has done for them. Tell me at least one thing I (as the GM) should know about your character. If it comes to a choice between a Roma surviving and a runner surviving, the runner dies. She was born in 2050, in Manila, Philippines. Her mother worked in the Azanian Embassy as a contract AR/VR data processing technician.
There she met and had a relationship with a member of the Azanian Embassy Social Exchange Staff. Since he was very good at social skills, he was able to convince her to go beyond a friendship.
They had several trysts, in various paid for locations, once in one supplied by the Social Exchange of the Azanian Embassy. After several months of this relationship, she discovered that she was pregnant, she told her lover, and he basically laughed. He then told her, he had another lover, and she could do what she wished with the child, it was not his.
Soon after that her Catholic conservative parents found out, and cast her out from their home. She was able to find a place and work at the Azanian Embassy, but work at the Azanian Embassy was getting a bit strained as her pregnancy began showing. Towards the end of her pregnancy, her supervisor found an error in some work she had done and they terminated her contract with the Azanian Embassy.
She was able to find work where she could in Manila, and when Lu Li was born, things got worse, since she had delivered a Souvenir Baby whose father was obviously not Philipino, her jobs she had been able to find, were no longer available to her.
Her mother was able to find ways to survive for several years, her mothers family refused to help or assist her.
When she was 6 years old her mother died during a firefight between Japanese government forces and the Huk.
She was turned over to her grandparents due the laws at the time; her grandparents were less than pleased at her arriving into their custody. Her being of very dark skin and taller than average height, made it known that she is a half breed.
So her grandparents were able to contact a buyer of young girls, she was sold to this buyer, and her grandparents told everyone she had died of disease.
The buyer later sold her to the Yellow Lotus Triad in Hong Kong, where she was trained be to be a Bunraku. During her time with the Yellow Louts Triad extensive alterations were performed on her, to enhance her appeal to certain type of well playing clientele.
After several years of working for the Yellow Lotus Triad, more alterations were performed on her, many at the specific request of specific customers.
When she turned 14, while working with a customer, the Red Dragon Association Triad conducted its elimination of the Yellow Lotus Triad in Hong Kong. Her customer did not survive the Red Dragon Association Triad assault but she did.
She acquired by the Ten Thousand Lions Triad, and worked for them as a Bunraku. After working for them 2 years, there was an attack on the Bunraku parlor she worked in by two groups Sie and Rote Zora.
She along with several of her female coworkers were removed from the Bunraku parlor and smuggled out of Hong Kong to a Mother Earth deprogramming facility. After many months of deprogramming by Mother Earth/Sie/Rote Zora, they gave her training to assist them on similar missions against places of prostitution around the Far East.
She spent 4 years working for the Mother Earth, Sie and Rote Zora. But she/they felt that she had been too active, and that her appearance made her more of a liability in the Far East for too long, and the Far Eastern Syndicates, Mafia and Vory were getting wise to there methods and attacks.
She then requested a change in area of operations or a vacation for a while. It was granted and she chose Seattle due to its Syndicates and brothel activities. The Seattle Syndicates had no description of her, and Mother Earth/Sie/Rote Zora activities in the Seattle region were non existent. So certain Mother Earth/Sie/Rote Zora agents were being integrated into the Seattle area.
There she was able to blend into the Changeling scenery, with no one being the wiser. It made an excellent cover for her too.
She has two contacts Bobbitt (Sie contact), and Ball Shotz (Rote Zora contact). With home she reports any intelligence or rumors to them.
Due to her past history and her working relationship with Mother Earth/Sie/Rote Zora, she has very strong feminist views, but can suppress her urge to do something drastic of some Hanger if he gets too far out of line.
She is 5’ 6’ in height, has chocolate brown colored skin with flawless tones, and no blemishes.
Her eyes are Asian shaped and a deep emerald green in color, and glow like a cats eyes in the dark when light is shined in them.
Her lips have been adjusted during her time as a working girl, are much fuller than she was born with, and tattooed a permanent ruby red color.
Her teeth were also adjusted, so now they are very white including the fangs, both upper and lower ones.
Her hair jet black, long down to her knees and very thick, she wears it in a single braid with will shorten it in length to about her waist. Due to her adjustments any cutting of her hair results in extremely rapid growth to the programmed length. All attempts to recolor the hair have failed, the coloring does not adhere to here hair strands. At several points in her working days she would suspended by her hair alone.
She has a long tail, and it is the same color as her hair but shorter in length, about 1 inch.
She extremely well built for one of her size, but she tends to dress in tight but not too revealing clothing. She tends to frequent the Changeling bars and clubs.

Eduard Leclerc was born in Québec, Republic of Québec in 2045. Born to human parents, he too is human. He has no other siblings. Both of his parents work for Cross Applied Technology. His father in Research/Hardware and his mother is Facilities Management.
He is 5 feet in height, and of slight build. His hair color is light brown and wears a blonde mid chest length beard. He is lightly tanned, has several tattoos of varying nature. He has fiber optic hair, so his hair color can be very variable and can go very bright. He is left handed and carries an Ares Predator IV in a quick draw shoulder holster, with extra clips long the inside back of his armored jacket. He can also carry a Mossberg AM-CMBT on a shoulder sling. He seems to be always wearing fashion sunglasses mostly in shiny black.
He grew up as a child in a upper middle class family, with access to technologies and gadgets that most would dream about. Early on Eduard discovered the wonders of building many electronic devices, since then nothing has slowed him down. Thru his parents many connections he was able to add things to his body to aide him in his skills.
He discovered the interesting aspects of AR Spam; he investigated it and found it kept his interests. His skills in getting spam drones into spam free zones proved to be profitable for him. He kept up via the Matrix on the various new techniques and devices for AR spamming and for cracked warez.
Using the electronics shop his parents bought him in his early teens, he was able to add electronics to his drones and weapons. He kept his electronics shop SOTA. He was able to get many drones and upgrade the software and electronics himself.
He used the Matrix to get SR Spam jobs, and to stay abreast on local AR Spam news.
During one job bring AR Spam to an AR Spam Free Zone; he came across something he did not expect. He witnesses a wet work job in progress. He thought he recognized the would be victim as one from his days in High School.
He brought in all his drones to assist the victim. When he did so, other drones came into fight against him, he had never seen, drones used the way these were. But his augmented skills in piloting were up to the challenge. The drone fight was very intense, stretching his skills and drones to the maximum.
In the end he was not able to save the victim, and later review of the videos showed he was mistaken for it was not a high school friend. He had won the battle of drones, and pretty much induced the ground combatants to retreat very quickly with extreme levels of causalities. But at a price, Eduard had lost 75 % of the drones he had.
As the Gendarmerie units started to arrive, he regrouped his drones and made a rapid retreat himself.
Later the news reported a very narrow reporting of the drone battle and the death of the victim. They reported his given name as the drone assassin, and the Gendarmerie put out warrants for his arrest. His parents reported that he was a good child, but that he was on his own and had been for some years. They knew nothing of his whereabouts or actions. He did thru some Shadowland messages get a message from his parents, that his home is gone, and not to visit. But they wished him the best of luck, and no more attempted contacting them.
He did not return to his home, but it seemed they did not have any id on his bulldog van that he had used, so he stayed in the van and used the wireless near the university to gain access to the Shadowland node in Québec. He was able to upload video of the fight to select matrix personas there. They came back to him with very bad news. He had stumbled across a wet job being done by the Seraphim. Eduard was shocked and feeling penned in. After that he kept on the move and refined his skills in drone fighting and the matrix.
Many times the Seraphim agents had him almost trapped, but he was able to each time to out drive his opponents. He picked of the street name of Spandau, due to his use of machine guns and how well he used same.
But over time things were just getting too hot for him in Québec, so he moved on using the smugglers route to Seattle.
Once in Seattle, he was able to discover that the Seraphim had not spread the information about him to the other branches of the Seraphim or Cross Applied Technologies. Seems they were embarrassed abit over not removing him from the picture, and did not want to share their failures with the rest.
He set up his shop in a loft style of place, living quarters upstairs, his van and electronic shop down stairs. He extensively upgraded the electronics and security once he moved in. | |

He is Ork, of 6’ 10” in height and weighs 345 pounds, and is of a very dark complexion, almost a dark tea color. His eyes are large and brown to bordering on black in color. Has hair is long enough to hang to his knees if he left it unbound. He has a black beard, combed and parted in the middle of his chin. He has a jet black beard, combed and parted in the middle of his chin. A thick jet black mustache with each end having a waxed curl. His tusks are a brilliant white and very symmetrical.
Wears a dark red Turban at all times and occasions, and carries an ornate Kirpan on his belt.
Rama Singh was born in Seattle in June 4, 2045, in the Ork Underground. His parents had fled to there after the Night of Rage occurred in February 7, 2039. Both his parents were UGE Orks; they were and still are Sikh’s. His parents were not the only Sikh’s who underwent UGE in to Orks, some into Trolls. In the Sikh community the people who underwent UGE were not subjected to the racial hatreds and bigotry. When the violence of the Night of Rage Struck Seattle, his parents and other UGE Sikh’s fled into what becomes the Ork Underground. His father was a Facilities Engineer before the Night of Rage occurred, so he was able to apply his skills to aiding in Facilities of the Ork Underground. His mother was a Hydroponics Engineer before the Night of Rage hit, so she was able to use her skill sets in the Underground.
As the Underground became more livable, so did his family. So too did the Sikh community of those who had undergone UGE or were descended from parents who did. In the Ork Underground, many understood that the Sikh’s were group of people who did not practice bigotry and hatred. Over time the Sikh’s became a major source of assistance to those in the Ork Underground. Most of the dwellers in the Ork Underground understand that the Sikh’s ways are not thru violence, but they well defend themselves and those in their care, very well.
Rama grew up in the Ork Underground, among other orks and trolls, but his parents made sure he could speak Punjabi, the language that all Sikh’s learn. He was able to learn English as well but his parents did not see the need for him to learn Or'zet. But since a lot of his playmates spoke Punjabi and most of the others spoke English, he was and is able to communicate with his peers.
It seemed to him that life was being predictable, then the Year of the Comet came, and his life changed to a degree no one could foretell. It began on Sept 13, 2061; he felt an incredible itching sensation along his torso.
He parents were very distressed and tried to soothe the itching sensations but it did not help. They finally took him to a local Sikh shaman, who told them after he examined him, that there was nothing he or medicine could do, that Rama was a changeling. They took him home and watched him undergo the changes that were taking place in his body. Over the next hours he grew two arms below his current ones on his torso. When he had finally finished the change, he had two fully functional arms underneath his original set. But at the same time others in the Ork Underground were undergoing changes, most not as drastic as his but none the less changes.
Rama changes were classified as Class Three SURGE, and were very unique in the Ork Underground. He and his parents spent much time in the local Sikh temple praying and speaking with the holy ones there. The final message that they received was this was a gift to Rama, and that he would have to grow into his gift. Part of the gift was dealing with those who looked upon him with hatred.
During the times of riots in Seattle over changelings, the Ork Underground stood with the changelings and against the hatred of those that sought to kill, maim or other things. During the riots the Ork Underground became a safe haven for those changelings who made their way to the Ork Underground. There were some brief battles at two of the entrances, but the local gangs and ORC, were able to easily fight them off.
Lone Star showed up to attempt to break up the Ork Underground’s blockade of the entrances to the Underground it looked like a major battle was going to take place, but then large group of Shaman, Mages and Magical Talent showed up on the side of the defenders of the Ork Underground, lead by a female Troll Shaman, called Momma Growby.
Mamma flatly told Lone Star, that if they tried to break the blockade, what would happen after they started would; make the Ghost Dance look like a minor event. Lone Star’s Magical Talent quickly told their leaders that she was not kidding or making idle threats. That several Spirits of immense power were standing on the astral plane, and some appeared to be Free Spirits. Lone Star backed off, made some face saving statements to the press and left.
After the riots had quieted down, and Rama tried to deal with his differences, by going to several changeling bars like the Fractured Helix bar in downtown Seattle. But he did not feel stared or looked at there but still was not what he was seeking.
He spent a lot of time speaking with the elders of the Sikhs in the Ork Underground and with the Sikhs in Seattle. It become apparent to him that he was to become a soldier saint, like a lot of Sikhs had done in the past.
He joined a Para-military group of Sikhs and traveled the world with them fighting in many battles and minor fights. After many years of being apart of the group, the squad he as with was wiped out except for him, he felt it was time again for a change in his life, so he became a Shadowrunner.

Snorri is 5’11“in height, and weighs in at 155 pounds. His hair is blonde/light brown with very blonde at the weathered ends. His hair is long and kept in a braid down between his shoulder blades almost to his waist. His beard is blonde except where his mustache is that is very red; the ends of the mustache are braided, while his beard is down the midpoint in his chest. All of his exposed skin is deeply tanned and has weathered lines around his eyes. His eyes are green and almost hazel in color. His braids are intertwined with small carved items and strands of embellished leather. He has an earring of shell, metal and feathers in his left ear, two earrings of metal in his right ear. He wears an Odin Hammer on metal chain around his neck.
He wears long sleeved shirts made of wool or cotton, dyed in deep browns and sea green. The shirt has interwoven into it patterns of Norse pantheon and mythology. Snorri was born in June 22, 2045, in Akureyri, in the northern part of Iceland, part of the Trans Polar Akut Nation. His father is a deep water fisherman, his mother a local gydje of the Asatru of the area. He was the 3 rd son in a family of 6 sons. He grew up in and around fishing and agriculture, so hard work was the norm for him. He was raised in the Tradition of the Asatru, when he day of manhood came he was taken to the Galdor who caste the rune stones for his portents. The Galdor studies the fallen runes from some hours. Then he nodded and told what the portents told for him. He would be a Gannr of strong powers, he would travel to other Norse lands and be betrayed there, would travel to a far place that his strongest desire would be to be nailed alive to a tree.
His times as a child were very challenging and formative, his parents made sure that he did not lack for any challenges, nor did they stint him any slack from hard work. He learned to love the land of his birth, the peoples that lived there, and the creatures roaming there.
As he went thru schools, he found most of most enlightening studies under the Elder Gannr of the region. Learning from the Elder Gannr shaped and molded his view of the world.
At the age of 17 he ventured to the Scandinavian Union into Norway. Once there he met up with the regions Asatru and found many friends and one who betrayed as was foretold in the runes, so he was forced to flee the Scandinavian Union or be jailed on charges untrue against him.
After a year of traveling he settled into Seattle, again making contacts with the regions Asatru. He found them to be more moderate than he cared for but something he could tolerate.
In Seattle he began working as a Shadowrunner, and gained some credit for his skills.
He lives in the neighborhood of Capital Hill in the Downtown area of Seattle. His place is middle class in the bohemian neighborhood of mixed dwellings. The building is brownstone building of 7 floors; his place is on the 7th floor. His living area is of modest style with a ancient traditional Nordic type of furnishings. The former occupant was a mage, so he has a work area for summoning and other magical needs. The work area has strong ties to a tradition very close to his. His questions of the landlord and his neighbors about who lived there before him are left unanswered.
His building is on a Green Plan so power can be interesting at times. He also has an AI residing in the living space also; he calls the AI “Loki”. Loki makes meals interesting at times; also the laundry tends to get more starch than it needs at times also. Loki seems a bit possessive of anyone else making Gunnar’s life interesting. Gunnar has come home several times to seeing evidence that someone had entered, but left very quickly. He has spoken to his neighbors about Loki, they are aware of him, and tell him that is why he gets the place so cheap.
Since the wiring in his place and the location it seems the area is Matrix bottleneck, but Gunnar usually only does data searches and the like. He had is commlink modded at Cathode Glow.
He plans on having the mechanics at Skidmarks rework is bike as soon as he has the funds.
He spends some of time in Bellevue, enjoying the many Scandinavian Festivals held there, he has also found a small group of fellow Asatru, but both sides are still feeling each other’s views out, he feels they are too moderate, they feel he is too radical.

(Why does he/she run the shadows still, rather than getting a "real" job?) Due is being accused and betrayed in the Scandinavian Union, he has gone a Viking. 15. Gerald was born into a prominent family, in the city of New Orleans, CAS, in the year of 2040. He is the seventh son of a seventh son of a seventh son and so on. He has 4 older sisters and 3 older brothers, all living. His family on both sides has a long tradition of Wiccan Traditional magic ever before the Awakening.
He grew up in New Orleans, and went to college at LSU studying magic and all aspects of magic. At LSU he discovered that if he tried to summon a spirit it came out all wrong. After college he was lured into the conflict between CAS and Aztlan in Texas. There he found his calling in the healing arts. The pull Great Mother placed upon him was great.
He spent six years in that conflict, losing many friends and companions, in the end Aztlan started targeting healers and magical healers. After many close calls, he felt the Great Mother calling him to Seattle, UCAS. So he followed her guidance and went to Seattle.
Once in Seattle he found the environment less taxing than being in the war zone down in Texas. He was able to volunteer his medical services to many clinics in town. He lives fairly simply, and moves thru the magical healing groups in the Seattle area, a fair ease.
He is 5’ 3 “in height, and weighs in at 145 pounds. His hair is black and medium length, hair bound back in a short pony tail. His skin is lightly tanned. His right eye is blue and his left is green, a family trait both his parents share. He wears a silver finished large pentacle on a heavy silver chain around his neck. He also has 4 rings, two on each hand; all are of silver and engraved with runes and symbols. He wears natural clothing of cotton or leather fabrics, brightly colored in greens, blues and blacks.
Sutter (Male Anglo dwarf, Talismonger): Sutter is of average build for a Dwarf, but a little overweight and his complexion suggests that he his generally well fed and lives an easy life. He plays up the stereotypical Tolkien dwarf image, right up to carrying an axe. He has an expertise for gathering magical materials (mainly mineral and metal) and also trades in foci. He is a fantasy literature buff and owns a small shop in Downtown called The Dragon's Lair.

Yeah, I know that place. Got some crazy little dwarf running around with an ax. Must think he's in some fantasy sim or something. Most of his clients eat that drek up, since they are wage mages with plenty of cred.
This shop looks exactly like it was plucked from a trideo about swords and sorcery. Eye of Newt, Wing of Bat, you name the hackneyed gewgaw, it's here. The owner, a dwarf named Sutter, hams it up as well, carrying a "Dwarven ax" and speaking of battle and gold, etc. Sometimes he even buys into his own act.
Fox (Tribal Male human, Magic Fixer) - Fox is obviously tribal, but he is also obviously cultured. His well-tailored suit is made in earth tones and the jacket is natural leather with fringes. He has long straight black hair with a sheen that can only be accomplished by meticulous care and expensive hair products. His voice is deep and devoid of any accent. Fox is very calm and even when he speaks. Fox deals primarily with helping Awakened people make contacts, get specialty equipment, and secure jobs. He has a good reputation which means he will not carelessly fence any magic bauble that comes his way.

Henry Marckhoso was born in 2040 in Port Howe, Cat Island, Bahamas: to parents of African descent. His parents both are dwarfs and so are his brothers, he has 2 younger ones. His parents both have a small shop fixing devices and such.
He grew up in the Bahamas enjoying the rich outdoor activities that the islands have, like swimming and diving of Rum Cay into the reefs like Summer Point Reef and Pinder’s Point.
As he got older he made a choice to join the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF), as a Marine, it was there he found he had a ability at fixing and maintaining weapons all types from handguns to naval guns and missiles systems. Since a majority of funding for the RBDF comes from the United Kingdom and UCAS/CAS governments to allow it to hold its own against smuggling of all types and other illegal activities. It as in the RBDF that he received the nickname “Gunner Blythe” for some British sailors after seeing him in combat against some smugglers. Seems that Gunner Blythe was a British naval folk hero/story, in the long distant past, so the nick name stuck.
He spent a total of 15 years in the RBDF, but at the end, the command structure was caught to many times in collusion with the vary persons they were supposed to stop/arrest. So despite he skills being needed, he left the RBDF to seek a career else where.
Babbling Billy is snitch that Gunner used while he was in the RBDF, he is a Jamaican human, living in city of Kingston. Billy has some reasonable connects that Gunner has been able to use in the past. But Billy can not be trusted because information is his stock and trade.
Chart Man is a smuggling contact that resides at least in part in Borinquen (Puerto Rico), in the town of San Juan. He is Hispanic elf of some average connections, Gunner met him while in the RBDF, and they worked out a relationship.
Davy Bones is a Bahamian Dwarf fixer for weapons that works out of New Providence, Bahamas. He and Gunner worked many years while Gunner worked for the RBDF, it was one way Gunner was able to “acquire” the needed tools/gear for allow him to keep weapons and ammunition for his unit of the RBDF. After Gunner left the RBDF, the relationship was continued.

Moon is changeable and secretive. She sees much from her high vantage point and keeps many secrets hidden from prying eyes under the veil of night. Moon is also a transformer, ever changing, unknowable. Moon shamans always take the subtle approach. They prefer to keep a low profile and act through subterfuge.

Tall and slender build, Jet Black hair in traditional twin braids down the sides of his head. Mid chest long braids are intertwined with small bead/rocks and carved wood.
Wears clothing made of non synthetic materials, worn but clean and serviceable.
He was born in Salish-Shidhe in 2039 the year of the Night of Rage; both of his parents were of the tribe of Selune. One of the smallest tribes in the Salish-Shidhe but to him it was more than large enough. His father was one of the Spike Baby Elves and is mother of the later wave of elves. His father Raven Oaksong is a Shaman of the Moon as is his mother Loreena Burning Sage is a Shaman of the Moon.
He has only one sibling a sister Celeste Oaksong, who is a little older than him. She is also a Shaman of the Moon. She and Ian get along well, as Ian does with his parents.
Selune is a tribe of Salish-Shidhe Native Americans in the Seattle Tacoma area. The first members were born in 2011, to normal human Native American parents. Being among the first elves born to the Salish-Shidhe set them apart from most of there Native American brethren. They were able to weather the trials of the early Metahumans in the area. They later formally formed a tribe Selune, which is another name for the Moon.
The Selune had an interesting beginning as a new tribe but there were other new tribes being formed at the same time and their being so small, they pretty much got over looked for the initial and intermediate stages of development. This proved to be great betterment for the new tribe. On the down side, they did not get much say so in what went on in the Salish-Shidhe. The Selune stayed out of the limelight and worked on their Moon magic and rituals.
The Selune seemed to claim an area that the Forest that has gone Primal. The tribal lands of the Selune are almost as lush as the forests of Tir. Some have conjectured that is a connection. The lands resemble a primal forest of long ago, before the white man entered and destroyed it. There are a large amount of awakened life forms on the tribal lands also. On the lands are locations in which Moon ceremonies are conducted, but these ceremonies are for members of the group only.
His tribe had good relations with the Ceneste tribe, which later gained some of the lands to the south and became known as Tir Tairngire.
The Sinsearach tribe of Elves from his tribes point of view, tended to be a bit overbearing. The Selune did not like it when the SSC shut down the immigration of elves into the lands of the Sinsearach. It greatly distressed them to see the refugee elves having to settle in Tarislar.
He roamed around the wilderness and forests of the Salish-Shidhe; he did this as an early young boy and as a young teenager. All of the members of his small tribe took turns teaching what they knew of shamanism and of the general area of Salish-Shidhe.
But since the Sinsearach and Selune tribes are basically very close to nature, he never learned to drive any vehicle. But he is capable to instruct an autopilot where he wished to go. He can use a commlink, but only to a small degree its use is still very alien to him.

He is 5'6" in height, 165 pounds in weight.
Royce is a average looking guy, brown hair medium length, brown eyes, light tan. Could pass for a light skinned Hispanic, Caucasian, or Amerindian.
His clothes are in good repair, not new nor worn old. Tends to wear slightly tinted sunglasses.
Where ever he goes he seems to be very in touch with his surroundings. His eyes seem to in constant movement and he seems to have more head movements than most.
Background, Royce grew up in Texas near Paris, Texas. He parents had a rural farm/business out away from town. He has one older brother and two older sisters.
Attended high school in Paris, and attended three years at Texas A&M University.
Seems while he was attending college he fell into a different crowd of students. He first began exploring the various tunnels underneath the university there.
He got a reputation for being able to warn his fellow tunnel explorers of those trying to catch them. It is illegal for students to be in those tunnels.
Thru other tunnel explorers, he met up with various groups conducting a low key campaign against Aztlan, who had invaded Texas years ago.
Names like Sons of Texas, Corps of Liberty, and The Fallen of the Alamo have been associated with his name. Of those various groups it seems there are some well financed backers of their activities.
He made many ventures across the battle lines/borders into the Aztlan territory.
His ability to spot things became more developed, the various groups backers offered up some perks to improve his skills in that area.
Once he had his perks installed, he became even more useful to the various groups in their activities against the invaders.
He learned to speak Spanish and to pass as a Hispanic.
His ventures took him as far as Corpus Christi, San Antonio and El Paso.
During his last venture into Aztlan territory, in El Paso, he was able to overhear a conversation between a Aztlan Intelligence Colonel and a operative. Seems the operative was discussing the Corps of Liberty activities and of Royce's role with that group. He recognized the operatives voice, as someone who he had worked with many times.
After the operative left the presence of the Aztlan Intelligence Colonel, Royce followed him to his resting place. Once there Royce, reported it to those in the Corps of Liberty. He then watched and waited. He was able to record all of the activities of the operative until others arrive to deal with the traitor operative.
He made his way back into Texas and CAS. Once there he decided that he had been burned for any activities in the Aztlan territories. He various groups he worked with agreed, but extended an offer to take up his services at some later time.

Petre is an Ork of African-American descent; he is 6’5” height and 245 pounds in weight. He keeps his head shaved, his skin color is almost a deep purple color, and he has his tusks capped in silver. His head and facial areas are covered in an intricate tattoo, using bright metallic green, and brilliant purple inks. The detail work in the tattooing is very intensive and finely worked. He wears on the front of his armor/clothing, “Front towards Enemy”, the armor seems to have two rectangular panels framing the words. The panels appear to be detachable. Petre was born to Ork parents that lived in the Ork Underground in UCAS Seattle. His father was involved in the tunnel expansions in the Underground. Petre tagged along on some days, it was there that he saw the world of explosives. From that day he tried be around when explosives were being used in the Underground. Due to the commonplace incidents with the Humanis Policlubs, his parents made sure he had training to defend himself. After that he pursued training via gang members he grew up with and with some of the “retired” runners that lived/worked in the Underground. It was one of these “retired” runners that made a suggestion that he join a Military service to polish and hone his skills and maybe get some more detailed training in explosives and the use of same. He was able to “enlist” in the UCAS Army, in basic training; he discovered grenades and displayed a talent for throwing them. UCAS also discovered his ability to blow things up and how little explosives he needed. While in the UCAS military he used some of the time to learn the ways explosives could be used in civil projects and in combat engineering tasks. During his tours with the UCAS, his skill with explosives was utilized many times. He enjoyed using is skills with explosives, shaping things the way he or his superiors wanted. He also discovered that he was above average in the use of firearms all types, and that he could fashion items using explosives with ease. He stayed with the UCAS military for 8 years, by then the politics of the UCAS military was wearing thin. During the last year of his service he turned to the use of alcohol and of Deepweed to get thru the days like a lot of servicemen. It was this substance abuse that lead to his leaving the UCAS. But during his service he was able to save some New Yen, and made some contacts. He used the contacts to gain some “upgrades” to his body and skills. He got his street name while serving in UCAS, since the words he likes on his armor, and how dark as a Moor he is. Once he was out of the UCAS military, he used his skills in explosives in some ventures against the Humanis Policlubs, and his skills with firearms. He truly enjoys making life difficult for the Humanis Policlubs and their ilk. He was done “freelance” work against the Troll Killers in downtown, on more than one occasion. He as also assisted the Skraacha and The Creeps in the Ork Underground and outside, using his expertise in explosives and with weapons. He has a strong leaning to the Ork Nation, in his beliefs now, he is not as extreme as some. He worked doing some explosives work when the Fungitek site was selected in the Ork Underground. The corp was very pleased with his explosives work. Thru a Tommy Tu Tusks he has worked indirectly for Fungitek, against some operatives hired under an Aztechnology Johnson. In all encounters the Aztechnology hired runner faired badly. He has had his motorcycle extensively upgraded at Skidmarks. He has an admiration for her work as a motorcycle mechanic and her tattooing. His tattooing was done by Sabrina, Arista and Zeke, all of Skidmarks. He has been by Lou’s Tattoos in downtown, several times, but has yet to have made any decisions regarding what work his might get done there. Lou has told him when he is ready he will know, he as even seen Selana a few times, she seemed intrigued at the tattoo work he already has. Mil Spec (Military Gear) is a contact he made while in service with the UCAS military, originally Mil Spec was in the Quartermaster Corps, soon after Petre got out, so did Mil Spec, but Mil Spec still has connections to acquire military gear for those that he knows. It is thru Mil Spec that Petre acquires some of his devices that go boom. He is a medium height, stoutly built human, likes to dress in military camouflage BDU’s of years before. Tends to smoke excessively and talk a lot with his hands. He is balding brown hair, tanned skin, brown eyes. Tommy TuTusks (Ork Fixer) is a boyhood friend that Petre grew up in the Ork Underground; he assisted Petre into some work to be around explosives and also assisted him in getting into UCAS service. After Petre got out, he again assisted Petre in finding uses for he new skills in the Ork Underground and in Seattle. Tommy is also a member of the Skraacha and has been able to direct Petre to some clinics to get some body work done. Tommy is solidly built ork, of above average height, has very little body fat. He dresses in the Skraacha colors of gray and brown. He has tusks capped in gold, and has numerous body piercings. He speaks softly and has a smiling appearance when he speaks. His hair is black and cut short, has a tan colored complexion, with black/brown eyes always moving. Dem Bones (Ork Street Doc) is one the many sons of Mama Growby, the owner/cook of Mama Growby’s, a ork soul food establishment in the Ork Underground. He got his early training due the “discussions” that sometimes occurred there; a local street doc Saw Bones, took him under apprenticeship and trained him well. Saw Bones has given most of his clientele to Dem Bones. Dem Bones has healed Petre many times from before he went into UCAS service and afterwards. Dem is a functional member of The Creeps, who Petre has assisted in the past for some advisory roles. Dem Bones is also a supplier of Deepweed when Petre is in need of it. Dem Bones dresses in functional looking scrubs of many pockets design, but very clean in appearance. He speaks very slowly but clearly. Dem has black hair about shoulder length, tied back with a leather string into a pony tail. His eyes are brilliant blue almost electric in intensity and a light coloring of red fur covering his body; a souvenir of the Comet’s passing. It is rumored that he sees things not on this plane of existence. His skin color is a dark brown in color. On one of the runs deep with in the Ork Underground, Petre and his fellow runners met up against something magical that they had not met before. Petre and is fellow runners were getting there hoop kicked badly; at the point where they were almost all killed by the magical creature, an immaculately dressed oriental human appeared, with a staff. The oriental man lifted his staff and made some magical mumbo jumbo words and the thing that Petre and his team had been fighting stopped just before killing them. The thing and sharply dressed human stared for a bit, then the human made gesture with a low command, and the area was filling with elementals of various types. The elementals went into various attacks upon the creature, while the dressed human chanted some words that seemed to ring the room they were in. Once the human completed the chanting of his words the magical creature, froze in place, and then gave unearthly scream that echoed the room, then in flash of many colors, disappeared. The human came over to the near death wounded runner team, and use again magical mumbo jumbo and healed them to the point where they could stand and move. Once recovered Petre thanked the oriental human, the human smiled and gave his name as Bakatare. Petre had heard of a runner by that name, whose rep was very good. Petre greeted Bakatare and gave his name of Clay Moor and that he owed Bakatare his life, and would repay Bakatare for the work he had dune for Petre that night. Bakatare smiled and said one day he would collect that debt of Petre life and of his teams. Petre nodded his head, and said “Yes I will be there when you call.” Petre took a 100 new yen bill and tore it in half, gave one half to Bakatare and kept the other half. He told Bakatare that when needed him, to send the half 100 new yen note, and he would come quickly. Bakatare then dusted himself off and walked into the darkness of the Ork Underground. Got it on good authority she a natural blond; ain’t no Jap-Yak like that. > Canvas “The pinnacle of [meta]human achievement is art.” Skraacha Turf: Ork Underground Colors: Brown and Gray The Skraacha (means something like “Scorchers” in Or’zet) is a new gang that’s cropped up in the Ork Underground following the Crash. Formed initially from a group of young orks who banded together to help defend the Underground when everything went to hell all over Seattle, the gang has since evolved into a kind of combination neighborhood watch group (think of the old-style Guardian Angels) and vigilante squad with the aim of taking down anti-metahumans whenever possible. They often skirmish with anti-meta groups like the Humanis Policlub, and they pick up extra cash providing security to pro-meta rallies put on by folks like the Ork Nation. Troll Killers Turf: Downtown, near Lake Washington Colors: Red and Green The Troll Killers are a humans-only gang affiliated with racist organizations like Human Nation and the Humanis Policlub—basically a bunch of young goons whose raison d’etre is busting metahuman skulls and taking trophies (such as horns and tusks) from their victims. Unfortunately for them, the meta gangs are growing at a faster rate than they are. The orks and trolls who were their primary prey decided they’d had enough and cooperated long enough to do some pretty serious damage to this band of racist kids. The TKs are still around (mostly because they pick up work as muscle on lake-based smuggling operations) but they have to choose their victims carefully. The Creeps If you need something smuggled between Seattle and the Salish-Shidhe, the Creeps are a good choice. This mostly-ork contraband ring is what remains of the Black Rains gang, which tore itself apart in an internal power struggle a few years back. Operating primarily in Tacoma and Puyallup, the Creeps rely heavily on the Ork Underground to safely transport goods throughout Seattle. They also work closely with the Cascade Ork tribe in the Salish-Shidhe, expanding the old mining tunnels underneath Carbanado, many of which cross below the border, and using them to exchange and warehouse goods. The Creeps keep a steady supply of chips flowing, though they tend to specialize in porn chips featuring orks and trolls. > The Creeps are more of a loose association of smugglers rather than a unified group. Some of their cells are quite clannish, however, like the notorious Bot’Kham (“Sons of Kham”), an extended family unit of muscle-for-hire descended from one of Seattle’s more infamous (and now retired) ork runners. These guys operate on a strict code based on professional and familial loyalty—they’ll never betray their family or their employer. > Fatima Lou’s Tattoos (International District, Downtown) A Japanese dwarf whose own body is covered from head to toe with tats, Lou is an artiste with the inks. Whether it’s an old-fashioned ink tattoo, bioluminescent, nanotat or even a full-body dye job, he can bring that picture you have in your mind to life on your own personal canvas. One thing to keep in mind, though: Lou doesn’t work from flash. You can’t just walk into his shop, point to something on the wall, and say “I want that.” Every one of his designs is original, either from his mind or yours. Asking him to do otherwise will get you kicked out of his shop. > Lou does magical tattoos, too—very expensive, but worth it from what I’ve heard. If you think Lou does some amazing work, you should see what she comes up with. > Jimmy No > Lou is uncanny about tapping into what you want, even if you don’t know it. If you’re brave enough, go into his shop and tell him to just do what he feels. I’ve never met anyone who’s been dissatisfied with the results. > Ethernaut > He does a lot of work for the Yakuza, so if you’ve got a beef with them, stay away from his shop. > Fungitek (Ork Underground) Fungi may not be the most exciting scientific field one can think of, so I was more than a bit surprised when I heard about this company. Fungitek has a few farms in Snohomish, a mushroom beer in the works at its labs, and that seems to be it … at least on the surface. Deep inside the Ork Underground, Fungitek’s biggest project is slowly making progress. It seems that certain parts of the Underground offer near-perfect conditions to test certain genegineered fungi hybrids, so the corp struck a deal with the orks to take over a section for their own. Supposedly Amazonia is hoping the fungi will be useful to its space program—along with hydroponic vegetables, an orbital habitat could run for years on the stuff without being supplied from Earth. It’s no wonder that Ingersoll and Berkley desperately wants to “acquire” Fungitek’s intellectual property— there’s money to be made here. Lots of it. > Other corps are paying attention too. Fungi can have plenty of applications: biotoxins, medicine, etc. Hell, Awakened mushrooms are huge in the magician community. > Ecotope > According to Azziewatch, a recent memo from Tenochtitlán instructed Seattle’s Aztechnology veeps to treat Fungitek with extreme prejudice when possible. Ralf was born in the Ork Underground to a German Expat Family; both of his parents are still alive. They came into the Ork Underground after the Bad Times above.
His father Mordechai was or used to be a Circus Big Cat Trainer, his mother Davena was or used to be a Circus Acrobat/Clown. He has one brother elder Ronald is with a Circus in Europe as an Acrobat/Traceur, he has one younger sister Isabella, works with NAN Sioux as a Paranormal Expert in the wilds there.
He is 6 feet tall, wiry compact build, Deep Purple Skin, with black fur with silver tips over his body. His head hair is in a single long braid, going down his back to his waist. Intertwined in the braid are bits of shiny metal and colored ribbons.
He wears dark loose fitting clothing are mottle colorings of gray/black. His boots are high topped but supple with soft griping soles, they are jet black with a dull finish with little shine. His belt is dark brown made of intertwined devil and demon rat cured hides. He wears a large bloodstone in a wrist bracer made of finely engraved Tumbaga metal. A matched set of Yellow Chrysoberyl gemstones in a Mokume-gane setting hoop. On his left hand is a quarter sized Lapis Lazuli stone in a setting of Shibuichi alloy. On his right hand is a Cat’s Eye Stone of half dollar size in a Rhodium alloy. Around his neck and underneath most of his clothing is a 2 inch oval Cat’s Eye Stone in a Platinum sterling backing, on either side is a matched set of round Tiger’s Eye each the 1 inch size in Britannia silver backing. The necklace chain is made tightly interlocking rings of Titanium.
Carries a machine pistol in a cross draw holster on his left hip, Vibro blade is in an upside down draw on his left chest, usually when he is carrying his combat load vest. A SMG hanging on the right side of his combat harness suspended underneath his right arm pit. When carried a Vibro Sword on his back in a upside down draw for his right hand. An Assault Rifle across his back for a left handed over shoulder draw.
He grew up in the Ork Underground learning to play with Orks and the others that dwell there. Even in child hood stray cats seem to find or seek him out. Dogs seem to tolerate him, but rats do not hang around him if given a exit.
He trained under his father and mother to pick up their skill sets and proved to be very good at them. Using the skill resources available to him he also learned of weapons ranged and close combat ones. His father seemed to sense something different in his soul, and had a “friend” from Europe(France) come and stay, train him in the ways he knew.
In his mid-teens a stray kitten found him, the jet black with a full fluffy tail was cornered by some rats. The kitten was on its last legs or so he thought. He did not hesitate, entered the fight with a drawn blade, he used walls and obstacles to his advantage. In the end, he as able to kill or drive off the rats. As he comforted the kitten, two adult cats male and female appeared out the shadows with 2 other kittens trailing behind them. The adults came over, sniffed him, butted heads with the kitten in his lap and butted heads on his legs. The two kittens came over sniffed him and swatted paws at the kitten he was holding, the kitten he was holding hissed and raised his fur. The two kittens backed away. The cats wondered into the shadows, each trilling back to the kitten he was holding, who trilled back.
So began his life with Maximilien Layton each training the other, it was a learning process for them both. His parent recognized the kitten for what it was and accepted him.
Two years into his life after Max entering it, Max was agitated and would not be still. Max was intent of leading Ralf somewhere. Ralf equipped and followed. Max lead him down deep into the Ork Underground into area seldom visited.
Once Max cued Ralf to go silent and stealthy, so he did. Max lead to a place where he could look over a pile of rubble. What he saw a dirty scrawny human surrounded by rats, some even Devil rats, and one Demon rat by the human.
From the way the human was behaving and seemed to be squeaking at the rats he was some kind of mage or shaman. Ralf saw he human pick up a large can from inside the can he could hear sounds of kittens hissing and spitting inside. Ralf looked at Max, who seemed to nod his head.
Ralf knew from stories told in the Ork Underground you kill the mage first. The human seemed to totally engrossed in the ceremony he as starting. The rats around him were also focused on the human and not paying attention to area they were in.
Max seemed to stare at Ralf, and Ralf began to feel hyperaware of his surroundings of the rats. Ralf then took aim with his assault rifle and let a long burst at the Human who was picking up the large can. His aim was true he caught the human square into the chest, knocking him down. Ralf ran into the battle, stepping up the wall as he ran. Firing as he ran, choosing targets with a skill he had never had before. He seemed to know when and where to run, duck or jump. Doing a back flip landing on his feet put him in the center of the melee, standing over the large can.
Dropping the assault rifle letting the harness sling catch it, he drew his sword from its sheath on his back, activated its Vibro function. The melee began in earnest. During the melee he killed the devil and demon rats but the numbers of the rest of the rats was still large.
Suddenly the extra awareness faded from him. Fighting was normal again, rats still died on his humming sword but many were there to replace them.
Then a dark black hound bounded over the rubble into the combat. The hound breathed fire at one large rat, the rat screamed as its skin smoked, and ran away smoldering. The rest of the rats fled also into the darkness.
Max staggered up to Ralf, seemingly exhausted. Ralf picked up Max and the large can and ran out to more populated areas.
Once he was able to take a breather he opened the large can and looked inside. Inside were some very scrawny but extremely vocal kittens. Ralf placed them into various pockets and began running into the Ork Underground. That is how he met the kittens he called the Klan Zhivko.
He named and trained each one of them. Ralf acquired the Street Name of Katmandew from the dwellers in the Ork Underground. Lifestyle:- Spoiler:

They basically designed Herb, to excel at medicine, and to use computer technology. They are researchers for Proteus AG, working in various research and Delta Clinics.

He then did post grad work there also. While there he interacted/socialized with various computer super geeks who took him under their wing to show him the ins and outs of computers, networks and the Matrix.

Why did they choose to be a runner? He became a runner due he felt he was routinely not allowed to go into the Genetic Wild Ranges. He had conducted many unnoticed small experiments along the way of creating the Template Design. His multiple Diagnostic scans of himself he compiled over the years. From being at the various clinics and research facilities he gained expertise in using the computers and network security of those places. He became a trusted and deeply respected Doctor and Genetic Researcher in Proteus AG. With that trust he learned more about the nuts and bolts of the logistics of Proteus AG Delta and Shadow Clinics. Exactly how clients/experiments were permitted and funded. He slowly stockpiled Genetic materials/Bioware materials. He also was able to clone some of his tissues, a large enough amount for his intended use. Once he determined the timing was right, thru his university decker friends he leaked out that he wanted to go to work for someone else, and was willing trade a location of a Proteus AG Shadow clinic. Thru the decker’s, Universal Omnitech rose to take him up on the offer, and arrange to extract him from the Shadow Clinic. UO was given plans and codes to gain entry and a date was set. End result was UO was able to breach the clinics security and gain access to the client genetic tank areas. Once there the extraction team was met by a security team that Herb did not tell them about, but the security team was prepared for them due to Herb had alerted them. A firefight took place there, but Herb had set his plan into motion. He placed his cloned tissue into diagnostic room off the main genetic tank area. During the firefight, the diagnostic room suffered a series of small explosions and a fire broke out. Herb had hidden himself in a genetic tank with a specified privacy screen usually for extremely well-funded clients. Once inside he attached a fiber optic cable to his datajack. Once in VR/AR he executed several software macros that changed the status of the genetic tank to being occupied earlier that night, client name John Doe. The macros implemented his Genetic Template that he had compiled, and gave instructions to the VR staff for the treatment of John Doe. The macros also altered the security camera footage to show that he only entered the diagnostic area and did not leave it. Security camera footage also showed that earlier that night he had admitted John Doe and processed his orders for the care of John Doe. Due to his expertise in the logistics of a Shadow Clinic, John Doe’s treatment was fully funded. None of the OU extraction team survived the firefight with Proteus AG security. The cloned tissue was found in the diagnostic area, shattered into smaller pieces and very badly burned. The Firefighting systems had sealed off the diagnostic area until the fire was extinguished. Herbs genetic tank was on the opposite side of the area. None of the other genetic tanks or clients/experiments was damage or harmed. The Proteus AG security team, related that Herb was the one that alerted them, and that alert prevented the OU extraction team from stealing data or clients. Herb’s cloned remains were honored then disposed of. Herb continued the many months undergoing his genetic treatment, with Proteus none the wiser. He was able to interact with some of the other clients undergoing genetic treatments via VR. Also in VR he was able to monitor his own progress and manipulate his genetic treatment as needed. Once his genetic treatment was completed John Doe was decanted and functional examine given to him. He was taken from the Delta clinic and once outside he retrieved his new effects/personal items he prepared in advance, including his new Fake Sin. Once out he worked for several mercenary companies as a combat doctor/medic. A year later a strict audit by Proteus turned up the funding issues for John Doe’s treatment, but the audit triggered a macro he left in place for such. The macro sent a message thru many dead drops to double blind message services till it got one of Herb’s one shot cheap comms. Since another macro he left in place has not been triggered Herb knew Proteus was looking for John Doe not himself. So Herb changed his job duties again and activated a set of resources he had in place before he genetic treatment. Herb travelled to Seattle and set up shop in the Ork Underground, running a clinic for those in the Ork Underground. For the most part Herb is able to VR/Rig his treatment of his patients. So he is seen in the Ork Underground but not know what he does. Assumption is he is Changeling trying to escape the prejudices of the surface world. He also frequents the Twisted Helix in Seatle. What is the characters personality? (This is apart from just basic psyche. Are you an idealist, radical, pessimist, militant, aloof etc?)
What skills does your character bring to this group? What makes them special? (Aside from whatever skills you have written down, is there anything else your character does well?) He brings medical and first aid skill with a Logic score to enhance the rolls for same, he also have the ability to hack and go VR. He brings a different perspective of the Trans humanist.
What are some things your character cannot do? (Get close to people, work well with others, handle money, think clearly under stress etc.) He does not do massive amounts of damage to his foes. Nor does he care for those who are undereducated and socially inept.
What does your character hate and why? (corps? Elves? dragons?) The uneducated and uncouth beings, usually in positions of power in the world of Shadowrun.
What does your character love? He loves Genetics, Computers and Changelings bordering on Trans Humanism.
What does your character respect? Those of skills equal to or better than his own skill set.
How was your character educated?. He attended MITM with a double major Medicine specializing in Genetics and Cybertechnology specializing in Bioware. While there he minored in Computers and Computer Technology. He then did post grad work there also.
What is your characters moral code? His moral code is the ends justify the means.
Does your character have any political beliefs? Religious? He does not follow any type of religion.
What item(s) does your character treasure? (This is beyond monetary value. It could be a lucky coin, photograph, sock etc.) He treasures his DNA information he borrowed from Proteus AG.
Tell me at least one thing I (as the GM) should know about your character. He is very good at medical tasks.
Firugi Vespuci (Magic Fixer, Elven Male) - Firugi Vespuci focuses on getting magical people and formulae, but knows who to talk to for magical goods. Meets folks in Firenze's. He dislikes the Mafia due to their prejudice against metahumans and magic (and for the bad name they give good Italians like himself). He is a xenophile and loves the strange.

Malcom West (Male Caucasian human) - Malcolm is a skilled surgeon with a singular flair for augmentations. He was a legitimate surgeon until he conducted a few too many Cyberware experiments without proper approval. It was nothing sinister and no one was actually hurt, but a colleague with a political axe to grind used it to get him kicked out of his private practice and blacklisted in professional circles. Although he resents the series of events that drove him into being a street doc, the doubling of his income and ready access to very dangerous people that like him has eased the pain. As for the doctor that wronged him...well, he was party to a personal Cyberware demonstration.

Where did your character learn his/her skills? She learned them from her parents and her caste in her society.
What did your character do before becoming a Shadowrunner? After she underwent SURGE, her caste and society no longer felt acceptable to her and to them.
Where was your character born? Feel free to include any other places he/she may have lived. Angkor Wat, after SURGE she has lived in Saigon, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Seattle.
Does your character have any family? If not, why. (Do they know where you are? Do they care? Etc.) Her parents are of the Brahmin caste , and she has 2 brothers and 2 sisters, but after she SURGED became distant.

Bridget Finnguala O’Toole is 5 feet 1 inch in height and weighs in at 90 pounds.
Her skin in pale with freckles in heavy amounts exposed to the sunlight, her freckles are dark red and range in size from pinpoints to 1 inch, and all are perfectly circular. Her skin is tattooed in a brilliant metallic emerald green intertwining ivy Celtic Knot work patterns in a full body tattoo, done by Selena of Lou’s Tattoos in downtown Seattle.
Her hair is completely white, including her eyebrows. Her head hair is in a long single braid going down her back, intertwined in the braid are thin strips of red and blue leather, ending in bloodstone and a amethyst at the end of the braid.
Her eyes are large and deep ruby red, usually never seen in the light of day because of the warp around electronic shades she wears with the tint set to Metallic Silver reflective surface.
She wears a broad brimmed sun hat of dark brown woven straw, with a bright green hat band. Usually wears white long sleeved shirts/tunics with various Celtic patterns in green in day light. Wears dark brown loose slacks
She wears sets of pierced earrings, 2 in left ear and 3 in right ear. Each earring is Britannia silver in a raised Celtic Knot work pattern, each set with semiprecious gemstones.
She was born in Seattle in 2045, in Everett in Travis Memorial Hospital. Her mother never married her father or so she claimed. Bridget has asked many of the extended family members who her father is or was, but runs into the same solid stone wall. She was born in to very large extended family the O’Toole’s.
Technically Cardinal Padraig O’Toole is a member of the extended O’Tooles’, but she does not ever recall anyone referring to him as kin. Most of the mentioning of his name brings a curse and a spit on the floor.
She grew with an extended family with a very wide range of skills and opinions. She found she had an edge/interest in computers early on. Due in part to her family’s wide range of connections she was able to gain entrance into University of Washington, majoring in Computer Science.
Her years of study there broadened her experience with computers and the Matrix. There she met a group of uber Geeks who showed her many ways around computer security and the Matrix. That group of geeks introduced her to The Cathode Glow in Tacoma, and Hejek’s Computers in Everett.
Matrix running with the group of Uber Geeks she learned of the various VPN’s that later aided her in skills and software’s. Her Com link was modded at The Cathode Glow along with the upgraded Response electronics. Her Response Enhancers she got from Hejek’s Computers.
Her Horizon Doble Revolution has modified at Skidmarks. Her VR avatar is that of a Deodanth from the Fantasy RPG World of Arduin: Deodanth are surrounded in mystery and legend, so much so that they themselves no longer know the whole truth. Thaumaturgical research confirms that they are a hybrid race, the result of a necromantic blending of Elven blood with some dark and unknown thing, probably feline in nature. As such, they are essentially immortal, though they reach their majority in just 10 years. According to legend, they are lost time travelers from eons in the future, when the universe is old and the last suns are dying. They are known for their fierce nature as well as their cunning battle tactics. A nomadic breed, they travel alone or in small groups, and are solitary in their habits—so much so that most of their history has passed out of memory, despite their long lives.
Her actual VR avatar is a Snow Leopard headed feline/Drow Elven figure, except her avatar’s eyes are deep glowing electric blue and has a Star Mage Gem of Pulsing Green in her forehead centered above her eyes. She wears a heavily rune inscribed Mithral breastplate, over Adamantine Chain Byrnie of a 7 to 1 ring pattern of linking. She wears gilt bronze Vambraces on each forearm, Copper alloyed greaves on each of her shins.
She has been seen using the services of a Hell Cat demon and Shiva Golem.
