Well, you can just create a topic for IC and one for OCC. The admins will then put it into your forum when it is made. Patience issues solved.

Your right Darkon only admins can make threads to put your games on till then suspect make the IC post and the OOC post for your games thats what i did till the admin moved my posts into my own thread

hey folks, since I'm new at GMing and I fully intend to ask at the very least as many questions about how this works as all of you will of what's going on in the game - let me put the first question to you:

what kind of run would you all like to play?

A good question. I think if you are going to start as a GM I suggest something rather easy. Hit and run. The big plot can follow up once you get a bit steadier in the saddle.

yeah, its sort of a catch-22, the players don't know what archetypes to create without knowing what sort of run they're going on and the GM doesn't know what sort of run to design without knowing what archetypes the players are going to create

I know the problem. I need player input to GM a good game myself. By the way, I scrapped the banshee idea. But from there I went to another idea that might be fun. I'm fleshing it out at the moment.

That's fine - in fact, its a good idea for all you players to create characters that you're familiar and comfortable playing. I don't know enough about running a game to offer suggestions on advanced or alternative archetypes or races. I'm not forbidding their use, just saying I won't be able to offer advice.

Also, there is a new game that (coincidentally and mysteriously) has been posted in the 'Game Rooms' forum. Some of you might want to check it out... unless you've got something better to do... like laundry... or sorting your bills... or watching that infomercial about the latest fat-burner drug... or...

I would suggest to ask an admin to rename this thread the OOC for Xtreme measures.

Ok. This is Lenilielle . Inspiration struck and I finished her just now. I have exceeded the limit for negative qualities by five points. I wanted all these qualities included and hope it is ok. If not, I'll turn down the point value accordingly.

I was not sure if I should roll the perception test myself or if you want to roll it, Suspect. Also I have no idea how that admin dice roll happened.

Also, I don't know if you want me to roll an etiquette roll to talk to the employee and get told where to go.

there shouldn't be any need for dice rolling just yet. the hostess would have been notified that a party for Mr Johnson is using the private room. your post is fine as is

Any Kind of game you got going. Ill try my best to fit in. Your the story teller so best i can figure. Im going to try and fit as best i can into your world, and adapt to what you throw at us. That's just the way i play. So i look forward to playing with you though. i think i mentioned i tried to GM. Not here but i tried and it was a disaster. lol trying to tell a story, and make sure everyone enjoys the story is hard work. That said this site is probably full with people, who are better at it then me. Just tell your story i suggest, and fill in the blanks with rules lol no but there will be rules...
