Who said running the shadows was easy? Dodging bullets, swords, spirits, and spells just to name a few. Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, even the occasional Dragon can make any Shadowrun go bad.

So there is something Shadowrun 3 has that SR4 doesn't. Landmines.
So is there any way I can like... design some of the special 3rd edition grenades and landmines for use by my character? I would love it..... horrendously.

There are plenty of rules for demolitions and making explosives. I don't see why a gm wouldn't allow for a land-mine style triggering device.

Well.... they had flat explosive mines. 12D..... but I'd have to do some damage conversions to figure it out....... I dunno. It's a topic I am musing about that I guess I will have to figure out in the near future.

You could use the demolitions skill to make a c4 bomb using a pressure or push detonator. DV is based upon the rating of the explosive used, and mixed rating explosives have an algorithm on page 89 of Arsenal.
