Increasing Attributes via Spells.

When performing an attack of Will, if I have increased my Charisma using an 'Increase Charisma' spell will my DV be increased or does it only use my natural charisma to determine DV?

The magical enhancement should count towards the test provided the boost was in place before the attack itself took place. That said I dont recall anything off hand that boost mental powers via magic.

The only problem I could see with it would be that Increase [Attribute] (which does work with Mental Attributes) is a physical, not a mana spell. So your GM may say that it does not affect your astral form, and therefore it's astral strength. Remember that you can use things like Kiai martial arts to increase Attack of Will DV and the Focus Will maneuver to increase your Willpower test dice pool.

Yeah, I figured that on the Astral Plane it would have no effect because it was a physical spell, but if I make an attack of will on the physical plane, against a manifested spirit, I hoped it would be ok?

I am already taking Kiai for my concept mage I was just wondering whether it would be worth taking an increase attribute spell to help aswell.

I had not considered the "Focus Will" thanks!
