History: Originally came from China, Halkin's family settled down in one of the largest orc-slums in Seattle.
At the age of ten, Halkin was recognized by the tribal leaders as an Awakened, and so his tutoring in the ways of an Awakened started. At the same time, young Halkin was already running the streets with his friends.
At the age of thirteen, when he and his gang found themselves surrounded by a bunch of hefty anti-orc activists, Halkin went into a rage.
Killing one, and with his gun shooting another. The rest left the place in quite a hurry.
A visiting Shadowrunner (under the name of "Dur") saw this "incident" and offered Halkin a deal: He'd call in a few favours from the Lone Star, and make Halkin's criminal file "get lost". in eturn, Halkin would come with him and join his small but efficient crew of Shadowrunners.
Over this time Halkin honed his abilities, and was there when his foster father (Dur) got zapped by a Street Witch protecting corporate security. From that day on Halkin promised never to use Magic directly but only to hone his own abilities.
This was Halkin's first day as an Adept

Background:

I know nothing but misery. Signs of my obesity were apparent even when I was little. My nickname was ork. I was an ugly fat baby and then the change hit me kindly; based on your own opinion of the situation I would suppose. An elf. I guess it couldn't be too bad. Immortality does have its own perks. Yet I would trade it for horns and tusks any day of the week. The second change turned me from a happy go lucky elf to a fraggin technowiz. I can handle being pretty and pointy eared but being feared was something else entirely.

I couldnt cope with that kind of change so I became sort of a recluse. Sticking to shadows and sliding through the 'trix as a whisper has kept me alive for my whole life. Yet as much as a secret as I pretended to be; I was still found by my mentor. A Technoshaman who took me in and showed me what it was like to be one. He even helped me to find my paragon. As powerful as my mentor was you just can't fight against natural selection and his time was due.

Now that I am free from my restraints of patronage; I will use my gained skills to explore the Stream further.

Was born in an Mercenary mage family in Northern Latvia, but moved back to Seattle in his late teens.
Always was good at getting others do his bidding, spirits and Metas alike.
physical weak, likes to take the backseat when trouble starts.
when his team got caught because of his signatures he lost his job in the Corp and moved on as a freelance Detective, but in the nights as a Shadowruner.

yep hit the problem of BP build, could not spend a lot on skills to flash him out as much as i would have liked, but the standard skills and equipment will do and later learning something with Karma will be OK.

No problem there, the hacker can do most of the work technically. Since he will probably the most versatile up front and the most useful. The technomancer is going to be initially way weaker. Only good for keeping runners out of trouble with hack on the fly and ar battling. The techno can have the hacker piggy back in vr therefore keeping the hacker out of bullet's way and you get a full armada of in the flesh deckers.

Possibilities are endless. Shame I couldn't get more out of the bp usuage but I suppose it will come back with echoes lol.

None here either. Just a heads up though, I changed his character sheet around a bit(he's not a gimp anymore...yay miracles lol), so that he's not so useless to the team. Going to make a few modifications to his background and then it'll be up. Also thinking on throwing up a different character instead(currently working on a human rigger)

Hmm, never played a rigger before, though I do have basic knowledge of what they do. Stats wise I can come up with one in an hour or two, it'll take me a bit longer for personality though. Very Happy

Heres my rigger. The chargen that I use(chummer) seems to be a bit off on some things like matrix initiative (it reports it as being 14 in Hot sim w/ Simsense Accelerator and customized interface). Sorry it took me so long to post him, and I still need to come up with a background for him.

So it seems the tech aspect of this group is all handled. I volunteer either my ex militatry/merc ork or a dwarven combat mage to provide some muscle. The ork is also specced to be an investigator/intimidator (think dirty swat cop) to help with certain social interactions. If either of these fit the run let me know and I will post the stats here

Hi! There's an elf shaman in my charsheet. He's a good healer, influencer, buffer and if there's trouble, he can call some pretty powerful spirits into the fight.
Please take a look at it, I have a few bp {8} left for modification, contacts, spells or foci. I'll tailor it for the team's interest and after I revisited the advanced rules, because it was created as a vanilla sr4a character with charx2 contacts. I assume everyone gets their contacts from bp here? Also is there a minimum on contacts? Can I start contact-less? (He's a Japanese char. new in the city)
And lastly, can anyone help me how to upload a background .doc here?

Edit: I spent all bp, have a "light" contact, and working on the modified background.
