| It could come in various forms, which are too numerous to really mention. Skilled awakened personel are still relatively rare in 2072. Sure there's a few more around than say.. 10 years ago, but awakened tend to get snatched up pretty quick. They also don't tend to go in for things like cybernetic enhancement at a really good price. As such other alternative perks can be offered. Access to high level mana loges, better living quarters, cheaper or greater access to foci, reagents and other things.
This is where I'd come back to you and ask; instead of things like access to betaware grade augmentations and the like, what would you instead desire? Higher grade living quarters? (EG: Pay 1k a month for medium lifestyle, half the cost for high?). Weapon Foci? Access to an initiatory group? | |

| The character I submitted has a high Armorer skill and is roleplayed as an Ares weapon mod designer joining Knight Errant. Would it be acceptable to allow a permanent facility in his corporate-owned workshop (advanced lifestyle)? I cannot purchase it because I have a lot of cyberware. At this time I have paid for a shop. I figure it would work with Day Job and it would definitely be put to use for the entire team. Along these same lines, would it be reasonable to expect that my character could access plans and materials (i.e. free legal modifications) after character generation from Ares/Knight Errant? I would be willing to trade for the betaware perk as heavily modified cyberlimbs (of which I have two) are hecka spensive. Of course, all of this is potentially moot if you don't accept my character. I have streamlined and specialized him more which will be apparent in his updated character concepts thread. | |

| No to the facility. The corporation isn't about to give you your own private factory, though you might be able to swing booking time in at a KE owned facility. Material costs would have to be discussed as it depends on what you intend to build at the time and why. If it's for personal use/profit you have to pay for the materials out of pocket and may have to pay for rental of the time in the facility. | |

| I would basically mod the team's starting gear for thinks like Increased Mobility for armor, image links and trode nets in the helmet's facial screen for unaugmented members, and of course weapon mods for all of our weapons specialists. I'm sure Knight Errant has a deal with Ares for this sort of thing.
Also, will our team be utilizing TacNet? If so, what rating, i.e., will we need a cryptosense module? | |

| Sounds cool, but don't forget a standard SWAT helmet has some mods already like image link, smartlink etc standard SWAT armor only has fire resistance

Mods will be looked into at some point but dont expect to be hopping into tricked out milspec too soon, and your also not intended to always have the best gear available for use. That said I intend to start folk off a little slow see how you all work as a team and then start moving you up into bigger scenarios. Keep in mind, the more gear you get to play with, the more lethal and nasty the encounter. IE: Want that heavy duty tricked out suit of modded milspec? Expect to run into booby traps, and nasty ones at that that I wont give you hints about and some of them may even be nanite based. You'll get a chance however to play with basic mods soon enough such as silencers, sound suppressors, gas vents etc as well as some of the heavier weapons for certain missions. As to TacNet it'll likely be pretty standard though you can expect to be properly outfitted with the gear to support it's use. | |

Pretty good, though I'm pretty sure firefight isnt a valid specialization for pistols. Rather the specialization needs to be for a type of pistol. (Hold out, heavy, automatic etc) You could however take firearms as a club specialization to represent training in using firearms as a melee weapon given your martial arts style, and there are melee hardening mods for firearms as well. Also, please list the specialization for your aptitude when listing the quality (Which in this case I assume is armorer) | |

| Tweaked it a bit more. What did you want to clarify concerning cyberware? Am I getting any discounts/free stuff? Are you still developing a wares package? I might be able to squeeze a bit more cyber in with discounts for those higher grades and still keep 3 Essence. In particular, if the cyberarm modifications could be offered for free, and the casemod be installed after the fact, I could purchase them in a higher grade without paying for the higher grade modifactions, you know what I mean? I might be able to afford naked beta arms but not with beta cyber gyromounts etc. Again, it is all up to you. I'm happy with where he is right now but I wouldn't mind more cyber if it didn't bust his essence down more than 3.

| Beyond the conditions already set I am not at this time offering players any additional extras in regards to cybernetics or any modified gear. Basic issued gear lists may be changed but an all inclusive list is a touch redundant in some way as you'll generally have the weapons, armour and gear necessary for the job available before deployment. (EG: Flash bang grenades, Tear Gas, Handcuffs, Comlinks with encryption etc, hacking gear for hackers, entry tools).
I've posted the initial cyberware suite option available to players. Additional suites may become available in time as I work out their specifics or identify what would be seen as a need for them in the corporation.
For now, cyberlimbs are not considered part of that due to the fact that there are cloned replacements available and most people tend to prefer those. The loss of limbs is also not all that common in line of work your in, and is more common with the military etc. | |

| Well I don't really need the suite, I'm happy with what I have. If you need me to get a voice modulator and increased audio sensitivity I'm sure I can put the sensitivity in the helmets and get a non-cyber modulator. Other than that, is Mike good to go? | |

As to he voice modulator and increased sensitivity, those are part of the package mostly due to their usefulness in both intercepting and conversing in high frequency bands. They are not a requirement | |

| All of his ware is standard grade. I did have a mistake in his cyber but it should be fixed now. He has a Touch Link for .1 Essence and Reaction Enhancers 3 for .9 Essence. He has two obvious casemodded custom cyberlimbs for 1 Essence each. They are customized to match his natural Body and Agility attributes, and have a Body 3 enhancement. This gives them each Body 8, Agility 5, and Strength 3. They also have increased capacity for 2 extra slots for a total of 17 capacity, which does not require clothing or armor modification. They both have these modifications: Cyber Safety, Cyberarm Gyromount, and Armor 3. The left cyberarm also has an implanted commlink and an engraved datajack. The right cyberarm also has a Radar Sensor 3 and Snake Fingers (which may or may not assist with the Armorer skill at GM's discretion). He has Bio Tattoos which do not cost Essence. In total, his cyberware costs 3 Essence and 106,500 nuyen. | |

Where are you getting the increased capacity? The only one I'm aware of is the bulk modification which does require clothing/armour modifications etc.

| Oops sorry a bit of sentence dyslexia. Bulk modification DOES require clothing/armor modification. The previous sentence was saying only full limbs could increase capacity beyond 2. I know that there will be a team leader but does Knight Errant have a rank system? | |
