Alrighty, for the slightly more inexperienced members of this run: You have seen how i do combat, handling some slightly more advanced rules, and how to do magic, your free to use whatever format you like to post how your actions works, but try to post it all, it saves time and can hurry us along quicker.

Also the inititiatives will basically stay in this order;

T-hawk (while in full VR) 16,
Marlexis 9,
Stubbspks 6,
Miridon has yet to roll, so until he does, he will be last.

Basically it doesn't matter what order you post in, the actions will be considered in the order of initiative and they will stay in this order till i ask for another roll of initiative. If you have any questions, comments or concerns PM me. I should be able to post roughly every 8 hours or so if i have enough people post, otherwise it slows down. i do apologize for my own slowness in posting, I promise to try to be quicker and more timely, thanks folks.

Oh, and if you're going to try and get her to not run through using the leadership skill, you should take into account the fact the leadership mods on page 122. From her point of view, you're certainly not in her social strata, and she doesn't regard you as any kind of authority figure, which applies penalties to your roll, I believe.

Would the social strata not be shadowrunners? Especially in this situation.

I think the social skills are a bit off in this game, but eh.

It was mostly just to show the general level of effect for commanding voice. Feel free to completely disregard the roll if you don't think the character would be too affected by it

Her social strata would be voodoo mages, from her point of view. Anyone else she deigns to be around as long as it leads to some kind of entertainment to her. Hannah isn't the type who will stick her neck out for people without a clear idea of benefits to her.

right format, wrong rolls. Vehicle/Drone mounted weapons don't suffer from recoil.

arsenal mentions it on page 105, the core book mentions it on page 162.

Found it. It was under the vehicle rules is what threw me I suppose.

i finished the drawing of the church so we all have some reference to go off of. one thing i forgot though, is that you guys come out of the right and left doors at the top, if you want you guys can figure out which doors each of you individually come out of by order of post. Or you can go with the standard gaming default of the left door.

Actually, according to the Counterspelling rules, you can either defend against a spell for one person, or dispel a sustained spell.

If the mage is using Counterspell to defend Ria, that simply adds dice to her attempt do resist the spell, and the mage can't use those dice to resist the spell himself. Orgy is an LOS(A) spell, so all three have to resist the spell. Using Counterspell in this manner would not remove the effects from the other two, but may help Ria from falling under its sway.

If the mage is using counterspell to dispel the sustained spell, he has to take a Complex Action, which means he has to wait until his initiative phase, which, as this is a surprise round, means it would be the next combat turn. Moreover, any net hits from the spell would detract from his dice pools. Dispelling a spell is an opposed test. His Counterspelling+Magic vs my Magic+Force(+Karma, if metamagic is used). This form of Counterspell would remove the effects of the spell entirely, but remember that the effects of the spell would still modify the dice pool of the mage, if he fell pray to it.

That would also mean that Ria would have to resist the spell on her own, and any net hits would affect her roll against the Spirit's attack.
