This Out of Character thread is for the game "Chance at the Majors"

In game "rules"

White should only be used to describe actions or scenes.
Various colors, bold, or italics should be used for communication. Please state your color choice options for the languages you speak, internal monologues & matrix communications.

and use the Note section to list the modifiers used for your rolls.

For example: Skill + Attrib + tech/foci/spirit assist = x

Then there's the stuff about not messing with another player's character (unless previously given permission by the player) or purposefully being a pain/annoyance.

Please inform us if you will be AFG (Away from Game) for more than a couple of days. I will move action as I see fit if you do not let me know ahead of time. I promise to not kill your character off on purpose.

Usually I don't use colour for the speech itself, only to indicate different languages. Anyway, my personal colour code is in the signature below.

@ Darkon: That's how I do it too. That way I don't have to constantly say what language it's in. Which was why I worded the request the way I did.

My colors are in my sig. I will be using those as standard.

Character is done except put in his last 13 questions I have them on paper I just have to text them in.

So are we going to post are characters into the rooster area after they are ALL done?

I think we all send the chummer file to Wreck he'll post when he's done going through it and happy thats what i did and i think someone else too check it out i even got a picture excepted for my pc

Ok sweet I did do most of my character on the Chummer File but I posted him in my Character section I never knew about the sending a file over to Wreck. It will be great to see everyones character once they are posted. I just finished the changes on Teckster his 20 Questions are done and all other changes are DONE.

ok like i did this before but i cant remember how to output a chummer file so it look readable on the site i would like to add Catalina to my roster but i cant remember how also Wreck can you send me the finished file please ill do it from that instead of the one i have thanks Lata

I would like to thank everyone for their patience with character generation. The Chummer system has a bit of a learning curve, but it doesn't let anything slide and has the best total incorporation of the generation rules.

I would also like to let you all know that wngd_phantom has been invited to join the team. He is a fantastic RPer and always has interesting concepts. Welcome back to the site buddy. I just returned a few months ago myself.

We have:
Two completed and approved characters: Smoken D & Catalina
Two characters that I've seen but have some touching up to do: Teckster & Connor
Two characters that are waiting for submission. Names Unknown

I would like to get all of the Characters approved by Sunday because I will be out of country between the 29th & 5th and can't guarantee I'll be active that week. I understand that next week will be a bit hectic for people what with chriskwahanfestiveenmas going on. But I would like to at least get the introduction posts up.

If all of the PCs aren't ready by Sunday, I will simply start the IC thread on Monday with the approved characters and let the others try to catch up before too much action has gone down.

FYI. I changed the font scheme for my posting as now noted in my signature.

Cool, I'll make not of that in the Roster.

Teckster is basically done. I'm just waiting to hear back from Scawire about a clarification and then we'll have three PCs ready to go for tomorrow. Assuming I can get a net connection tomorrow. Visiting some family and the wi-fi is spotty at best there.

Joker and Teckster are both officially approved. I'm waiting on a couple of minor details before posting the link to their character sheets.

I've seen Siona, and she seems interesting. There are some technical difficulties (mostly to do with a bad chummer file/upload/download?) to work out, but she should join the roster shortly.

With that I will start the IC Thread.

Please read the post carefully, there is a limited amount of time between when the runners are contacted and when they need to be at the location for the job. Also, please be specific about what weapons/armor you are taking with you. if you don't mention it in the post, I will assume you didn't wear/bring that item. Small/easily carried gear will be assumed to be on your person. If there is something bulky or you want to be absolutely sure a piece of gear is on you, mention it in the post or PM.

You'll understand why I'm telling you this when you read the details of the job.

Ya that is including the power focus.

Also I have the gas mask in the trunk and the silencer is still in his apartment thinking it will not be needed this time.
