Sorry about not posting in on the planning kids and stuff. But im caught up on the Ooc stuff, and i think both plans are good. Drivers plan is a good distraction and or way to go, but if it dose not work then kess will have weapons ready. been checking my sheet kess thats a negative on the vis mag . i do have vis enhanc. if that helps probably not. But ill try anyway. if we have no options. i mean how bad can it be.

He's not the smartest but he's a good soldier and will take orders to make himself useful at this point. in the mean time unless told otherwise im gonna keep the hostages held down or put'em down if need be but i hope it dose not come to that they were following orders and if he dose not have to kill'em he wont.

Ok, so pick Assault Cannon or HMG then Ghost, though at this point I agree with Gala on the Gauss Rifle. Since it has little in the way of recoil compared to other guns your probably better off with that (Since you'll be able to avoid recoil penalties) and the Kess can either use his own sniper rifle. The Guass already has a smartlink so we'd just have to take the scope off my rifle and slap it on the gauss rifle for you. We can then probably dump the Panther on the smart firing platform just in case it actually starts shooting at anything and then we'd be golden.

If Driver can buy us some time to set it all up we may even be able to ambush the aircraft. If not... we'd better work fast before we eat an AA missile.

i'll let you in on my plan, since holding it would possible mean that we do somehting counter productive. Basically we strip the soldiers of any identifying markers, radios, what not, tie them back up, and gag them. Dump them into a inflatable dingy in the emergency hold that all planes have. And use the planes Vtol to drop them into the ocean. Albeit first we use their radios to signal the planes that 'they' have taken control of the plane, the last missile shook up the intruders enough for a quick coup, after the drop off, we tell them that since we still have the original crew, none the worse for wear, we continue on the original mission, which just so happens to be in the same direction that we wanted to go in the first place.

Yeah, they aren't going to buy that Phantom.

Their gonna want that plane to go right back to the base and any dropping off of anyone along the way is going to instantly give us away dude. Not to mention the aircraft's actual crew are mostly back at the army base in question, so they'd know your bullshitting the moment you say we have the 'originally crew'.

The best we can do is make em think the plane got taken back, buy some time under 'escort' back to the base and then take out the aircraft in question by surprise.

Even trying to get them to think that the troops too the aircraft back is going to be a bit of a stretch as not only do we have to make it visually convincing, but we'll probably have to bluff our way past any voice confirmation or confirmation code requests they send at us.

Speaking purely as a player, I would definitely have to agree with Kesslan. Phantom's plan, as fun as it would be to have pulled it off, is much to complex, and succeeding relys far too much on luck. Kesslan's has a little luck involved, but it's simpler, and therefore more likely to succeed.

In either case subterfuge can buy us a few precious moments to setup an ambush that can give us a badly needed edge.

I also like kess's plan but drivers has merit. That being said. Kess while drivers doing his thing talk to LT (me) about the gauss or gas rifle what ever it is. and slap on the scope. I cant take action or agree as G pointed out if i don't know. but im with you on that k lets do it. If i remember talking is a free action so's texting so hit me up and ill move on it.

I am not sure what most people prefer in this instance, but usually GMs expect faster posting, since you don't have to wait your turn any longer. What's going on?

Was waiting to see the rolls you asked for here. I was wondering what the outcome was. if i remember i opened up the locker checked on the CO, then i was supposed to help kess... Not sure what else im supposed to do really lol

Kess, you've got some rolling to do. Feel free to PM me, or ask on the OOC Thread if you need clarification on the rolls available to you. And, of course, rolling is only really required because of the time-limitations of your tasks. If your time was relatively unlimited (even in terms of 15+ minutes), you wouldn't have to roll for most of these tasks (except the Armorer ones, which would still require rolling).

Phantom: Keep at it with your cock-pit works here. You're attempts to rouse Ashe seem to be yielding results. That is encouraging. Although, there is unlikely to be any possibility that she will be in any shape to hurl lightning bolts, she could be useful in potentially other ways, depending on the group's willingness to be creative with their resources.

Apparently Ghost has some other reason to trust that I won't accidentally (read: On Purpose) have LT trip, and land on his chin, inadvertently biting off his tongue. Or some other reasonably ridiculous outcome.
